- Minecraft building technique videos usually involve vanilla Minecraft build hacks. On the contrary, I whipped up a mod to add illegal building techniques to Minecraft, similar to illegal Lego building techniques. These are things you should never build in Minecraft - they're cursed! The thumbnail is from an actual in-game screenshot.

Although the Wrench is cursed, it still actually an extreme advantage for builders especially when it comes to interior on houses or even exterior

The fact that some of this stuff are actually pretty useful in building makes me want to get them in the game more
The wrench is actually really sick. The stuff you can do with it is really cool and opens up already of possibilities for builders

The only thing we need is the block's hitbox to move along with them once interacted with the wrench.
Wouldn't it make for an interesting limitation?
but that means that on a wall if you move the "texture" then the hitbox still exists
weird constraint, mainly because I guess it's very hard to change hitbox
Programatically, I don't think that would work since chunk loading requires all blocks to have set x,y,z coordinates. And depending on how the mod was written, the game probably wouldn't be able to store the subset x,y,z shift and rotational shift persistently, so I'd bet all that work gets erased when the game resets or the chunk reloads.

@@69bruh Assuming that doesn't exceed the chunk storage cap, that gives you 1/10th positions, but what about the rotation? As far as I know, only entities use rotation, and it would have been a waste to leave it in for blocks. But then again, entities only need z rotate, and must have x and/or y for dinnerbone, so I guess it's possible that there's a lot of unused parameters taking up resources... is minecraft just a really crappily programmed game?
I can't tell if teaching you modding was a good idea or if it's gonna have you breaking the Fabric of Reality.

I think everyone would enjoy that wrench
of only it had a " movement distance " control setting , so u can make a block move faster then just 1 pixel at a time .. maybe like setting it to a 5 so every 5 pixels the block moves
and the setting onky applies to one wrench . so u could hold multiple in yiur inventory that all move the blocks at different amounts of pixels to be more efficient ,
and probobly have a setting to choose which way to move a block so u don't have try try and get weird angles to build it right u can stay where u are .

@@CrimsonAkato even better and simpler: tiered wrenches, like the other tools. Higher tiers move things more. And added benefit is easy visual distinction based on material.
But you have to activate it in settings so we can have normal mc and builders mc

I wish you could do some of this stuff in Minecraft. Sideways slabs, sideways stairs, rails on walls and ceilings. You name it it would add a lot of cool building styles and techniques

Mojang is essentially just a shell / front company ''owned'' by microsft. They sold out literally a decade or so ago.

The wrench is genuinely really cool, it would be really good for decorating interiors, and, like you showed, making a snow man.
The Wrench is basically building with armor stands but more intuitive than teleporting them.

That wrench tool would actually be incredible for making maps. They should add that as a command only item
If you're willing to work with invisible armor stands spawned with commands, I believe it is possible in 100% vanilla.

@@ac_credo8234 You can /kill them when the player is looking away, it helps with the lag a lot. You do need to /summon them back though

A bit late to the party, but it's been announced that Mojang has added display entities. This is the closest thing we're gonna get to the wrench

Ngl, the combining stairs and slabs with alternate types of stairs and slabs is actually a brilliant idea

The wrench +regular mini blocks could change the game for armor stand builds. Might be a few kinks u'd have to work out though. But it would make minor armor stand mod builds possible to average player with half the learning curve.

These are… *the* most revolutionary additions to the game I’ve ever seen! These would actually enable players to make their most incredibly builds, even more astonishing! This just pushes the creativity to new hights! Videos like yours man, are the reason why i originally became a huge RUclips fan, back in the early days. This is just such fine content!

u can also merge slabs by using the world boader, pistons, lever/button/pressureplate, redstone dust, and of couse, some slabs of your choice

Stone cutter/stone chunks existed ages ago with the hacksaws. You could slice along one or two axes to go as far as 1/16

Even though the wrench makes thing so much more curse it actually does have a potential when it comes to building when you ting about it
I think you should go over the stone mini rocks, and that is literally amazing for builds
I haven't seen your channel before so honestly when this popped up, at the beginning I was like, "Oh sure, cool, it's another fine-detail deco mod like Chisels & Bits..." then by the end I was like "You broke Minecraft in ALL the best ways, YOU MAD GENIUS". The 'salb' reminds me of flipped surface normals in 3d modeling, which I feel like has amazing potential for creating the illusion of negative space in really tight builds, especially with the whole wrench nudging blocks into each other's space thing....
Actually, the wrench has really good potential, like the door thing, if you want the door to be cooler for a screen, you can.

This would go great with absent by design, a mod that adds walls and vertical slabs and other similar things
The only thing I don’t like that much about this is the sideways fencing, as I use lots of fences to detail buildings-other than that, it’s all pretty good! Captured lots of common building issues in Minecraft.
It's literally pointless, you can already place fence on walls and if your pesky wall walking sheep hassle you with their abilities you can just put them in a cage they can't see through and weld the cage to the ground!

You can make a proper barn door (the kind that are are in two halves) with that wrench
