This video contains the solution for Destiny Wasgij? 21. If you would like to watch the intro where I explain all of the different Wasgij? Concepts, but not watch the puzzle build then please look out for the onscreen spoiler warning, or just turn off when I am opening the box. If, on the other hand, you already know all there is to know about Wasgij? And would just like to see the puzzle come together, then, by all means skip to that part. The puzzle starts at around about the 30 minute mark.
Hi,
I have a long video for you today. In this one I explain all of the different concepts of Wasgij? Puzzles by Jumbo Games including some little known ones that you may not have known about! And to top it off, I build the Destiny Wasgij? 21 - Highway Hold Up, for you as well. I hope you enjoy 😃

Thank you for the advice in the video. My husband was given 2 wasgij puzzles & I was worried about tackling them! I didn't even know about the different series! 😊
You’re very welcome! I’m glad it has helped. With Wasgij it helps that they are cartoons, so there are always bold colours or patterns that you can spot among the pieces. Yes, there are a few different concepts, Mystery, I would say, is the easiest and a good one to go for if you are just starting out with them 😍
You are so nice to hear . Your speaking is so soothing I am new to your channel . Thank you so much for all the info . Right now I am checking your older videos . Again ty
Thank you so much 😃 Welcome to the channel! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. I hope you enjoy them 😍
No wonder you have so many subscribers in not many videos! Your videos rock!! Another favorite to my list, and I am not a friend of adding favorites!!!
That’s really kind of you to say so, I’m so glad you are enjoying my channel 😍
Thank you for the Wasgij info, is very helpful! I now want to try one of these and I will start with your recommendation of the Wasgij Mystery. Looking forward to it! Loved the Destiny one you just did, very clever! Wasn't what I was expecting and that seems to be the beauty of it all 😁
You’re most welcome! I’m so glad I’ve convinced you to try a Mystery - they’re all fun, but I definitely think Mystery is the best concept to start with if you’re not used to them! That is definitely the beauty of- even if you do have an idea of what to expect, there are so many little, funny details that you notice as you build, makes them so much fun 🤩
I stumbled across your channel yesterday and enjoy your videos. I heard about WASGIJ-puzzles and only know that the solution ist different from what we see on the lid. Now after watching this video I know more what they are about and what kinds exists. Thank you for introducing these puzzles to me.
Hi! Welcome to the channel - I’m really glad you enjoy my videos 😍 Yes - I did a couple of Wasgij? Vids a while ago and I’ve had people ask me about them a few times since then. I thought it was time for a proper video on what they are since there are a few different types. I think they are so fun 😃 thank you so much for watching! 😊
I try Mystery Puzzles- Wasgigs, Ravensburger Escape Puzzles, and the Mystic Maze series and they just wind up getting put back in the box not even half done. For some reason, I just don’t like the concept. Your spirit is infectious and I am so glad you share puzzles with us. I will definitely watch you do Wasjigs.
Thank you for watching 😃 and thank you once again for your kind words about my videos. I like the added challenge of those kinds of puzzles, but I understand why some don’t necessarily like the concepts 😊 I have never heard of Mystic Maze - I’ll need to look that one up!
I did the Sunday Drivers a few years ago and I really enjoy doing Wasgij? My daughter and I do them in winter when it is cold. Regards from New Zealand.
Yes, Sunday Drivers is brilliant - it was the first one I ever did. We used to do them as a family when I was a kid, that’s one of the reason I love them, I think - great puzzling memories 😍 sounds like the perfect cold winter evening - a cosy puzzling session with your daughter 😃 thank you so much for watching 😊
I love that you do the pluralize Wasgij to Wasgijes hahaha ❤️. Cool video!! I did one Wasgij Mystery not long ago (#12), which I found at goodwill, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I kind of liked it but it "frustrated" me at the same time and I wasn't finding myself going back at the puzzle as I use to. Maybe it was the image, I don't know! Glad you like them and can't wait to see the next video!
🤣🤣 it does sound a bit silly doesn’t it? Lol. Thank you for watching! 😍 For the most part I have enjoyed all of my Wasgij? Puzzles, but I do have fun with some more than with others. As a general rule I prefer the Originals I think, they are just that bit more challenging, which I like. I’m really looking forward to trying the ‘Imagine’ one! I’m intrigued to know where they go with it 😃
@@Vickymakesandbuilds haha I love it it's funny 😂😂. Yes I'm also intrigued by the imagine!
Done that one too. I am a wasgij enthusiast I have five more on hand to do.
I love Wasgij? Some of the first puzzles I ever did 😃
Thank you for the tips I appreciate them.😊
You are most welcome! 😍
I will not watch until the end, because this is a puzzle on my radar to solve. I have already done several wasgijs and it is fun. Many times I don't look at the picture while I am doing a puzzle (of course I know the idea, given that i bought it, but I didn't study it in details, so if it is very colourful and busy I barely have an idea what is where). So these wasgij-es are not scary for me as for some other people. I really enjoy them.
I’m the same! I’m so used to doing them now, that I really just glance at the box image and let myself be surprised by the build 😍
I love them too, have done them for years. Regards from New Zealand
Yay! Fellow Wasgij? fan! 😍
Vicky, I am currently starting my first WASGIJ? puzzle! Thanks to you! It is an Original #31 Safari Surprise 1000pcs because I love animals...uhh, except bugs. Unlike The Laberynth maze puzzle that was cartoonish and grueling to build which I have mentioned to you in the past, I have dived into this cartoony puzzle per your comments. I am absolutely loving it! I don't know how challenging it is just yet since I barely have the edges done and part of the top, but it seems very doable! I see a lot of puzzle pieces that are giraffes, zebras, lions, and water. I am assuming something happened at a waterhole with these animals and/or others. I am enjoying this so much that I HAD to write you!
Readers:Please do not comment any spoilers
Hi! Thanks for letting me know you got a Wasgij? I’m so glad I inspired you to get one - i’m really pleased that you are finding it fun so far. It sounds like a great puzzle - I haven’t done this one yet, so I look forward to hearing how it went for you 😃
I will certainly tell you once I complete it, but I am slow because I have very little time to work on it. I am so excited because with my first horrible experience with cartoon puzzles that pushed me away from them, this one not only amuses me with such cute cartoons(so far), but challenges me in a pleasant way! I have to remember not to give away the results, so you and many others can enjoy this one.
This is really not a spoiler because they are on the edges but the flamingoes have cute kness and feet!
Thanks Vickey…I think I’m going to get the one you just finished, as I know how to do some of it.. Can’t wait to see the one you do next. The colors are really beautiful I especially loved the color of the car.. I did notice there are other puzzles like the Wasgij they tell you to look for things in the puzzle like one said to look for shark which is black fin. Thanks again I really learned a lot from you today and I always do. Till next time. Kathy E.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed it and are going to give Wasgij? a try 😍 that Destiny Wasgij? Was really fun, I think you’ll enjoy it 😊 all the best with it 😃
I have to say I was terrified of these puzzles, but watching you put it together they look fun! All the little characters are cute! I’ll have to try one next puzzle haul! 🌺🌺🌺🌺
Ooo, let me know how you get on! I hope you enjoy them, I just think they’re so funny 😆 thanks for watching 😍
Great video, as always! You’ve made me want to try Wasgij? I have one on my stack - a mystery puzzle themed after opera - and I realize it’s a Ravensburger brand puzzle, so I’m curious about the Jumbo vs. Ravensburger in terms of Wasgij? now. Based on your demonstration of moving sections I think it might be helpful to try the Jumbo brand, considering Ravensburger tends not to be so great in terms of lifting sizable sections, as seems to be helpful for this type of puzzle where you’re not sure where everything will go. But I might give this Rav a go as a taster and see how I like the concept.
Thanks! 😍 I didn’t even know Ravensburger did Wasgij? Style puzzles. I’d be interested to know what that one is like, when you get around to it of course! I agree that Ravensburger doesn’t lift in sections very well, I definitely find that helpful in Jumbo Wasgij? They are great for that! thank you for watching 😃
I did a few wasjig puzzles a bit of fun, recently bought Kinsale harbour ravensburger.😃
Great! I really enjoy a Wasgij now and again 😃. Your Ravensburger sounds nice, how many pieces?
1000 pieces, might get into 500 piece puzzles and enter the puzzle championship next year 🙂
The only thing about puzzling is the jigsaw dust, its a bit annoying but that's part of it.🙂
Great idea! I’d love to do the championship - it’s tricky with the kids, but it would be so fun to try! 😍
Yes - I’ve never had a problem with the dust, it just isn’t something that bothers me - only time it becomes a bit annoying for me personally is when I have to keep wiping my table down because it looks messy under the camera 😆
Great video as always. This is such a fun brand, thank you for sharing all the info.
Thank you very much! 😍 it really is fun 😃
Vicky, maybe I am not getting a large piece count puzzle because it doesn't fit my way of enjoying large puzzles by mixing all sections and other reasons, but I am planning to order in the near future the Fable Puzzle called Window Nook. AND I have decided to try a Wasgij, but will wait for your Part 2 video to decide which concept.Destiny doesn't sound too hard, but I am wondering if I would enjoy Imagine puzzle better. I thought I would get a 500 piece, but I really think I can tackle a 1000-pc cartoon puzzle.... I have done large piece count puzzles, so I think 500 is not much of a challenge. And I LOVE that puzzle areas do not crumble when picked up, which means I have my joy of picking the entire puzzle up when completed!
That’s great, hope you enjoy the Fable puzzle 😊 I think you will be fine with a 1000 piece Wasgij? They really aren’t that difficult. Originals are more difficult in my opinion and Mystery ones are easiest. I have now completed Imagine and I found it to be on a par with a Mystery difficulty wise (I’ll talk more about this one in part 2). Destiny is somewhere in between the two I think. They are all doable though. Yes, Jumbo puzzles in my experience do stay together really well, although, I will warn you, if you do go for Imagine, and you get a used one like I did (as they don’t make them any more), you may find that the pieces are a little looser - just from having been done before I think. The brand new ones are solid as a rock though! I hope you enjoy, whatever you decide! 😍
Yes, Ravensburber has a similar style that they did years ago, What If puzzle series, I would love to see you give that a go, I personally have both "What IF?" and wasjig puzzles, like you, I really enjoy them.
Ah, right! I’ll have to look one of those up! It sounds like I would enjoy them too! 😍 thank you for watching 😃
Love the idea of these, wish I didn't hate the art.
They are a great concept. The artwork isn’t necessarily to everyone’s taste though, I understand that 😍
I find the cartoons really amusing 😁
I have done that one.😊
It was so much fun! 😍
Love your vidos my step mum got me in to puzzle and the fasted one iv done was 5 h 30 min that was a 500 peace one
Hiya! Thank you! I’m really glad you enjoy my videos 😍 it was my Step Dad that got me into them I think, it’s hard to remember as I have loved them since I was a kid! 😃 well done on your time - I find that the difficulty of a puzzle is rarely linked to how many pieces the puzzle has. I’ve done some really tough 500 piece puzzles! 😊 thank you so much for watching!
I recommend including a Timelapse of the puzzle at the end of the video if you completed in one video. That way we can enjoy the Timelapse after your analysis
Hi! Thanks for the recommendation 😊 I’ll keep that in mind for future videos. I never thought to do that. Thank you for watching 😃
15:34 I think the mouse hiding under the table (the table with the pot plant) will have something to do with it. The performer might see the mouse, shriek, and have the dog (sitting on the same table) chase the mouse and cause havoc in the room. The outside scene could be a decoy! I'm really interested in the solution for this now lol
Aaah! You may well be right, I did another Mystery (18) where a restaurant scene is turned to chaos by animals - that was a dog chasing a ball I think - so it sounds like something they would do! If you have an Instagram, you can check mine out @vicky_makes_and_builds - when I complete this one I’ll put a picture up 😃
@@Vickymakesandbuilds Thanks I'll do that. I had no idea about this puzzle brand before your video - I'm looking to buy some now so thanks for making this video!
You’re most welcome! I’m glad you’re going to give them a go! I’ll be interested to hear which one you go for 😍
@@Vickymakesandbuilds I found a good price on amazon so ended up getting "Wasgij Original Puzzle 32 The Big Weigh in!" I'm so excited for it to arrive!
Yay! That’s a good one - I’ve done that one on the channel 😃 I hope you have loads of fun with it! The Original concept is my favourite, I always have fun with those 😍 let me know how you get on and happy puzzling! 🧩
very interesting, I was not familiar with Wasgij.
I’m happy to have introduced you to them 😃 Do you think you might give one a try? 😍
Fun video as always-thank you, Vicky. So I’m wondering if this annoyed woman in the blue coat and hat the same one from the very first WASGIJ? puzzle? She was (apparently) going 15 MPH as well. Continuity in the WASGIJ? universe! :)
The same thought crossed my mind too! It wasn’t lost on me that the speed was the same as in Sunday Drivers! 😃 I like that continuity as well! That lady crops up in a lot of the other puzzles as well. As far as I know she is the only recurring Wasgij? Character! 😍 thank you so much for watching!
I personally never liked the cartoonish type puzzles because I dislike the idea of constantly looking at the puzzle box. However, because Wasgij puzzles do not have that because the image is different when completed. My question to you is, due to your experiences with Wasgijs and cartoony puzzles, is it really hard to put together? The idea of puzzling is to have fun while being challenged, not for it to be grueling! I did a cartoonish labyrinth puzzle, drove me crazy, but completed it, the hardest ever. This led me to never build a boring cartoon puzzle again, but now with your video, I think the problem was the labyrinth, not the cartoon. I have been trying to try different puzzle styles, and Wasgij may be fun...thoughts for me?
Well, I personally don’t mind cartoonish puzzles. You can’t really use the box for most Wasgij? But in my opinion the cartoon element of them makes them easier to put together, rather than harder. They can be tricky, and some are harder than others, but I have never struggled with a Wasgij and definitely not found them to be gruelling. On the contrary, I think they are fun 😀 it sounds to me like it was the labyrinth element of your puzzle, rather than the cartoon, that made it difficult.
Vicky, that grueling labyrinth puzzle is on eBay, pretty cheap. It's called Lost in a Jigsaw, diagonal maze puzzle...so you can see the image and compare. Maybe Wasgijs are better because there is more color to them???
If I’m looking at the right puzzle, the jigsaw you describe seems completely different to Wasgij? I see what you mean about cartoonish, but the premise is very different, the Lost in a Jigsaw seems more specific - a maze you have to solve, it has only one solution, identically shaped pieces and is diagonally cut. These things all would have made it very challenging. It looks a lot harder than Wasgij? In my opinion. Also the whole puzzle is of a maze of which there seems to be one or two predominating colours. Wasgij? Generally have lots of (often chaotic) things going on and there are lots of brightly coloured sections to work with. Also the cut is standard. I honestly don’t think you will have a gruelling experience with Wasgij? I can see how the Wasgij? cartoon art isn’t always to everyone’s taste, but I don’t think that particular element of it makes it hard or boring or gruelling, I think it makes it more doable and fun. I hope that helps. I haven’t done the puzzle you describe, it looks interesting actually, but it looks much more like a brain buster to me than Wasgij?! 😊
Not my cup of tea...and I wouldn't recommend it for you.Not even worth $5 of investment. Thx for those wonderful suggestions and comments!!
I am considering a Wasgij puzzle now...considering, at least not discarded!
I love your videos but as a Dutch person I can't help but chime in on the pronunciation of Wasgij. On the Dutch version of the website the pronunciation isn't explained and we say was-gij with a hard g. You can let Google say gij to hear how us dutchies say it.
Just a fun tidbit but I really have to get used to the English pronunciation haha.
Thanks again for the videos, I'm going to binge some more!
😃 oh that’s interesting! They definitely make a point of spelling it out phonetically on the English website. I’ll have a listen to Google on the gij part. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching. I am glad you like the videos 😍
As a Dutch person myself, it took me a long looong time to realise that wasgij is jigsaw backwards. Because the question ‘Was gij?’ with a questionmark, means literally ‘Were you?’ in old Dutch. A bit weird, yes, but to me it always made some sort of sense lol
Il love the Wasgij puzzles. The only thing that bugs me is that … it’s too small. 1000 pieces max, 😭. I have several of them and would gladly do all of the wasgij anyways. People, don’t be scared by the fact that you don’t know what the image is : some of those wasgij are harder or easier than the others. If you’re looking for an easier one, buy those that say « what happens next ». Then you know the walls won’t change, nor the people or clothes and all. The puzzles where you see a different point of view are harder. But as it is only a 1000 pieces, it’s not that hard at all. Just a little puzzling sometimes 😉.
I agree - the Mystery Wasgij? are much easier, but even the Originals and Destiny aren’t too bad. The fact that they are cartoon images helps too 😃
Getting a ticket from a police man is modern robbery. so i like the new version of this picture
🤣 Well, it definitely is robbery when the woman is getting ticketed at 15mph! Lol 😃 thank you for watching!
You have a better descriptive video about Wasgij? than Wasgij?'s pitiful video. I understand the concepts through you than the same company! This video should've been sponsored by them!
Thank you very much 😍
Can you list the all the WASGIJ?s that you know of that have a bonus puzzle...WASGIJ plus bonus box image puzzles in one box?
I’m not sure off the top of my head, but I can try and find out if you want me too. I had one once, it was a Christmas Wasgij? I think, but I forget which one it was!
Yes, I would appreciate your finding that out! I hope they are not all Xmas ones; I know one was, because one of your videos stated that, but don't know about any other. I would love to have one with both images!
Hi Betty, I have started looking into this for you. I have not been able to find a complete list of these as yet. The Wasgij? Website lists a whole bunch of puzzles that they describe as having 2 x 1000 pieces. I assume these are box image bonus puzzles, but all of them from 10 - 17 are Xmas Wasgij? I assume any more recent ones will have that too. The Wasgij? Website isn’t always the most up to date, so I have emailed Jumbo games to ask if they have a complete list. Hopefully they get back to me soon. Lastly, I am in a Wasgij? Group on Facebook - I have asked the question on there to see if anyone has a list. There are many avid Wasgij? Fans that I’m sure will have collated that information at some point. If there are any Originals or any other than Xmas that have a box image puzzle, then I’ll find out. Hope you don’t mind giving me a couple of days on this. 😊
@@Vickymakesandbuilds Has Jumbo replied with the list of bonus box image puzzles?
No, I’m afraid they haven’t ☹️
There were 5 imagines released ever and 3 back to's. I actually have something I'd like to email to you but I don't know how we're going to go about contacting each other.
My email address is victoria_clifford@outlook.com 😃
@@Vickymakesandbuilds Thank you and email sent.
I got your email, thank you so much! I will reply to that as well 😍
N1K EM = No One Catch ‚em ?
It’s possible that’s what it means. I now think that it just refers to the British slang word, the “nick,” which means prison! Also in British slang, to “nick” can also mean to steal, but given that it is on the Police Van number plate, I think it just means “catch em” or “arrest em” 😃 it had me guessing though!
Good puzzle but its a head scratch
They can be. I’ve done a few now so I’m quite used to them, but they can still stump me sometimes. Also there is always something you don’t expect in the image, and the little funny details that you notice as you are building - these are all a few reasons why I have always loved Wasgij? 😍
I personally don't like Wasgij? I like the concept, but I don't like the style of drawings.
😊 I appreciate you watching all the same! I agree about the concept, I think the solutions are often really clever, but I can see how the drawing style might not be to everyone’s taste 😃 the style and concept together just seems to suit my sense of humour so I’ve loved them since I was a kid. Happy puzzling 🧩
