- Part 1 of 2: We took the kids out on there first real backpacking trip. 8 and 5. In Western Maryland. Once school was closed we hit the trail! Since we didn’t have to get up for school as early it made it a-little easier to add in some trips with the kids. We stay the first night at a back camp because of heavy storms coming. But hit the trails first thing in the morning. Come with us and see the excitement in these little guys as we banged out 21 miles in Maryland with them.
Always great to get out with the family, very pretty trail. 21 miles is a really good trip with the kids. Will have to watch part 2 soon, lol.

Thank you. That cook set is great is it?! I keep seeing new things and different ones but this one works so well and holds everything no need to change. I think sometimes I just want to buy something new. But I don’t think anything will beet something so perfect. Lol thanks for watching! Kids and there story’s along the trail are great.

Western MD along the C&O Canal and how into Green Ridge State Forest. That part will be in my Part 2 video. This one was getting kinda long. But I was so proud of the kids. I just wanted to show family’s that kids don’t need , water slide and go carts to enjoy a trip. Between frogs and ruins and just excitement of having all there stuff on their back they loved it. Part two will show the 1 mile long dark C & O Tunnel ! Coming soon!! Thanks for watching
