This was cool. Get Anais on the payroll permanently to document all future albums. Very interesting to know how it was all put together and how much effort went into each part, making sure arrangement not too busy etc. I didn't realise Mike contributed those ambient parts to DTTW.
What I like is that no matter if you've sold millions of records or none at all, recording an album seems to be more or less the same process for everyone
These have been amazing to watch. I don’t think we’ve ever seen Noel at work like this? I had no idea that so much went into each track in terms of the building of the melody and background vocals etc. I’ve been listening to Council Skies over and over trying to pick out all the bits I’ve seen during this series. Well done Anais for putting it all together!
Been following this series over the past month. Noel has this whole thing rolling round his head..... every chord, note & sound already clear. The process is to get what he's hearing down on "tape". Just brilliant......master at work.
If Noel’s songwriting process is like fishing, the music itself seems to be like putting several puzzles together. Great work, Anais, Noel & friends! 🐐🎶🇬🇧🎸👑
These videos of the recording sessions are absolutely amazing. I’m hearing guitars parts that my ears have never heard in these songs before and I’ve listened to them a thousand times. Will be hearing all new and wonderful things in them all over again now. A real treat for the fans. Thank you Anais. Wish there were videos for all of Noel’s old sessions. Hopefully Anais does this for all of Noel’s future stuff 👌🏻
Loving these videos, shows how much work goes into an album and who doesn’t want to see Noel being his usual hilarious self. Probably not the space to say but I wish him and his brother made up and just spoke to each other especially for the sake of their families they’re missing out on so much with each other, only mentioning because of personal experience. Anyway wow keep up the great work. Loads of love ❤️👍🏼
Just happy to see this new episode ❤️ and a little sad that it's the last one. Just thank Noel and his entire team and especially Anís who filmed all this for us. Many many thank you ❤️
Hes a genius,i went to see liam a week ago on the definitely maybe tour, all classics that he wrote, and he is still writing great tunes 30 years later, hes up there with the greatest song writers ever.
These have been great to watch! It's fascinating to see what goes into making an album and the people behind them. Anais has done a top job - more vids like this in the future would be top.
just cant fkn get enough of these. i have to admit i was keener to what liam was producing on a single by single basis, but council skies has easily become one of my all time favourite albums. i just loved the sound of it and couldnt stop singing the melodies. now that ive sseen how much love went into it i can see why.
I enjoyed watching this docu series. It was interesting and I loved seeing Noel with The engineers and of course Johnny Marr too! This was very intimate and I love that we were invited. This goes to show everyone- if they didn’t already know- all the dedication, long hours, thought and talent that goes into making beautiful music and songs. Thank you Anais! You surely have a talent and thank you Noel.❤️🥰 I saw your concert in NY at Central Park’s Summerstage and I wasn’t disappointed in the least! We all loved it you and your band sounded great. Looking forward to seeing you next time around:-) 🌟🎶🌟🌻❤️
Are you a musician? I'm a talented vocalist always on the lookout for guitarists especially and I have the same musical approach as NG in terms of singing too.
These were great and interesting documentary. I hope we are gonna have another documentary for next rock album!!! I really like to see how this genius is cooking in his own studio.
Think Of A Number с 1.40 является образцом музыкальности, как такое можно было сочинить? Когда я услышал первый раз Think Of A Number сидя в машине, почувствовал невесомость. Анаис, береги отца, он нужен не только тебе, нас миллионы по всему миру.
Having watched these, I wonder how it feels for Noel to write the songs, coming from a personal place, then in some way having to detach from that to record everything for them in the studio, then when it comes to do the promo for the album a year later, having to talk about where the songs came from and that be in that headspace again… from a songwriting point of view at least it’s fascinating to get this sort of insight here.
I gree . I love this docu, it allowed us to be part of the process in a very simple and magical way. Waiting week after week I almost felt like I was sitting there on the couch. The composition and every minute detail is so Wow. 👏🏻👏🏻
I loved Seeing Noelly play so much guitar. I think Gem is superb, but Mr. Gallagher is just as good as he was when he used to play lead for That other band he was in.....❤...and his singing is better than its every sounded.
He really knows what he’s doing, but then again not always. Just messing about until it sounds great! I hope we get to see more of these behind the scenes stuff in the future.

@@trungtinnguyen2857Noel said that during the Covid period he had so much time that he composed about 30 songs, 10 of them are on Council Skies, 10 would be acoustic and 10 would be stadium rock (the so-called defiant rock album that he would like to release soon), now I the doubt arose whether the song he was playing had a rock aspect or whether it was part of the acoustic album he wanted to release... we'll only find out by living!
@@rlxts yeah in some parts but in other parts definitely just getting one bit and looping it thru the song. Either way I would have expected more live stuff. Not to say it’s bad
Liams voice was incredible in the 90's,noel would admit that he couldn't of sang them better than liam back then. The stars aligned they needed each other, without either oasis would never have existed
Let’s give Liam credit for I’m Outta Time eh? A great Oasis song. Noel is THE songwriter of his generation, no doubt about it. There is no need to praise one Gallagher by slagging off the other. Both Liam and Noel played their parts for Oasis and they became what they are because of each other. Now they are both very successful as solo artists and as a fan from the start I’m happy to support them both. Their personal differences are their business.
Dear Noel, can Light / Dark record their debut album in your studio please.? Britain needs it. I signed a copy of Definitely Maybe once, I can tell you the story whilst the drums are being put down. 👍🏼
I've seen all four parts, with this one out most recently (according to the NGFC emails), so not sure how this is billed as part three here. Where is the mysterious fourth part now?!
It's looks like a best album for England to provide each home for locals and give back bastards from the land, keep it only best people with a true story i think - i'm also music man but now i work at build my home
I also wrote this in a previous comment. It's definitely not a Council Skies track, keep in mind that Noel said that during the Covid period he wrote about 30 songs of which 10 are on the Council Skies album, 10 are acoustic and 10 are stadium rock (or defiant rock, like he said). The only doubt I have is whether this "unreleased" track is acoustic or whether it evolves into a rock song, given that the next album will not be the acoustic one but the rock one.
You ain't going to get these "making of" vids from Liam's camp .. because it's a few Americans on computers handing Warners the finished songs for their approval
it's a shame that all those cool parts were practically buried in the final mixes... INCLUDING THE JOHNNY MARR PARTS... so sad... could have been a FAR better record, showcasing all the beauty from his songwriting, only if it had shown all the beautiful rough edges that only a nice stripped back mix could reveal...
Noel: Builds recording studio… records entire album in control room.

The guitar solo with the red gibson fuck! It's impressive, Noel putting those missing pieces into his songs, watching him work is truly unique.

Totally agree and it makes people more aware of an artists work. Most fans have no idea what goes into making an album.
LOL Noel's dry humor makes even the desert jealous. It's cool to see how clear Noel's ideas are and how he has his stuff under control
Noel your gift of songwriting has had a huge impact on my life for decades now….thank you sir

Surely me too
Can't believe it's over already
Maybe a Bonus Track 😭😭
I’m honestly loving and enjoying this so much!
At least Noel is self aware to know that his own phone doesn't recognize him as a smiley happy person, Liam would get a kick out of that
I've always been a fan and I always knew I had the same approaches as NG in regards to the creative experience whilst recording.

Noel’s vocals man 👌🏻
Noel, the Pep Guardiola of song writing! Getting performances from all the artists he’s invited on and putting them in the right places.
But then in the analogy he’s a player manager coming on to score winners too! So he’s better than Pep!
C est intéressant de voir toute cette préparation et la manière dont l album se construit.
I would love a live concert from this tour with the documentary in full released on Bluray/DVD!🙏🏻🎧
Id love to have been in that studio throwing ideas around with Noel. My dream is to do exactly this.
