Happy Birthday Jim Keltner! The amount of work he's done and people he's performed with is just astounding! I realized he's on so many albums and songs that I love. Some of these songs, like "Mind Games" and "Photograph", are my favorite John Lennon and Ringo Starr songs, respectively, and I don't think it's a coincidence that the same person played on these songs! Also, my favorite song from my favorite supergroup, The Traveling Wilburys, is "She's My Baby", and a big reason why is the beat of Jim's drumming! Jim Keltner's playing and sound is superb, and he's probably my favorite drummer of all time!
Kelther was incredible. There's no doubt he nailed the electric/acoustic Bob. Winston Watson was the NET. His energy and the way W.W. drove Bob was a real part of the early NET. However I think Bob's best drummer was George Recile. George was ferocious and gentle. I think bobs sound suffered initially when George left. BTW it was Van who had W.W fired - Van said to Bob "get another drummer". While I love Van, and understand why he suggested Bob fire WW, I think Winston was probably one of Bob's best drummers. It's very hard to call. I love Jim, W and George. That being said I really miss Larry and Charlie the most. Love to all the Bob fans.
@woolhall Omg! I was totally not recognizing him! Could it have been the 2 beers I'd just had? Lol! Now that my head is clear, I'm hearing correctly. Thank you,Andrew. It's very sweet.💕💕💕
@@woolhall You just reminded me. I will send you my piano lesson soon. And you are very good at what you do💕 and it brings so much happiness to so many.☀️

Love to all the Bob fans.
To me David Kemper was the best NET-drummer. He gave the songs they played an extra groove.
@@ewndr7940his drumming on the 99 versions of GFTNC and BOSL is divine. Great call
