- WarioWare: Get it Together is the latest opportunity for some nonsensical, quick-fire Wario weirdness. The anti-Mario has been pushing the boundaries of Nintendo gaming for decades, and never seems to stay in the same genre or game style for very long.
Considering that Nintendo is typically very hesitant to experiment too much with the Mario formula, Wario games offer something unique.
But...why? WHY?! Why Wario of all characters,?! Why is the Game Boy era filled with inventive Wario platformers rather than more generic, pleasant, wholesome Mario games? Why is WarioWars even a thing, and why did Wario get assigned to the microgame collections in the first place?

I just hope the revived interest in Wario and the return of 2D Metroid means there's another Wario Land or Wario World coming soon. It's been over 10 years, our greedy macho badass in yellow deserves more action games! He's Nintendo's coolest weirdo

itd be awesome if shake it was ported to switch. cut the motion controls obviously but seriously the game is so beautiful looking and it totally deserves a second chance.

I really want a new wario land game. Classic side-scrolling action, maybe multiplayer with waluigi, definetly bring back captain syrup as the main antagonist, and we’re golden.
I just want Wario land 4 and warioware:mega microgames!$ ports for Nintendo switch, most likely what we'll only get in terms of "wario land"
Regardless of the hows and whys wario ware smooth moves was so much fun to play with my siblings and I'm glad he exists. Let's hear it to wario and to being weird!

smooth moves is one of my favourite games of all time. its hilarious and fun and will absolutely make you feel like you look stupid (lookin at you wario dance company) but its just so good

1:02 I also assume Wario was partially inspired by the “Odlaw” character that was introduced in the Where’s Waldo (aka Wally) series a year or so before SML2.

If one franchise deserves an all-in-one collection, it's Wario Land. It's not like Nintendo's bringing back the Virtual Boy anytime soon, and Wario World would be perfect in a collection like that.

Pretty much everything about Waluigi's existence flies in the face of why Wario was created in the first place. This video essentially proves that point.

As much as I love wario ware and I am loving the new game, we haven’t had a new adventure wario game since aril land shake it nearly 13 years ago. And there’s barely any non-wario ware representation in smash. Why Nintendo?

WarioWare Wario overtook treasure hunting Wario. You can notice some WarioWare weirdness bleeding into Wario Land 4 (specially sound design) I wish we can have overalls Wario back someday, Shake was short and that DS one sucked pp.
Wario Land 4 came out two years before the first WarioWare though.

I think Wario looks better in his biker outfit than with overalls. He stands out more from the rest of the cast that way.
