- Kansas City has the very best farmers markets. We visited three of them on this beautiful Saturday in August. The City Market in The River Market area, The Brookside Farmers Market and the Lenexa Farmers Market. Several of them are open year round! So much local produce, gifts, handmade things, local raised meet and eggs. The baked goods? OMG - the baked goods are my most favorite.

I should add that the Overland Park Farmer market is wonderful too! I did a whole video on that one earlier this summer. One of my favorites!!!

YAY! They are all wonderful! The one in Overland Park has moved back to their original location under the structure in downtown OP and is open on Wed mornings again as well as the regular Saturday morning market! Have a great visit! So glad you can come see KC!

Thanks for watching - actually, I recall I waited in a very long line to buy the most amazing heirloom tomatoes & fresh flowers and my family enjoyed them very much. Those cookies are made by a local baker and are near impossible to get, unless you go to one of her popups which happened to be at the Lenexa Farmers Market. I had missed them several times at other popups. I ended up sharing them with my neighbors. They were just as delicious as I had hoped.
