Spring is in the air and now the smell of flowers can be too! This test tube flower vase is a great project for beginners as it doesn't require too many tools, time, or money. I bought a whole box of test tubes since they were such a great price, so I will definitely be making more. If you're interested in seeing more test tube vases, make sure you subscribe!

Love this idea. Thank you!!! I placed all the dry flowers from my wedding, and others from my Husband in them and hung them up. 🙏🏼

Nice spring project. You were careful to square up your two sides when you glued them up separately, but yet when the sides were combined, you had some small gappyness. Maybe the wood wasn't flat, but I'd actually cut those differently. Aside from the Bosch and Festool miter saws, no other brands blade tests perpendicular to the back fence when beveled. Instead of beveling the saw for that cut, calibrate the blade so it's perpendicular to the bed. Stand the wood up on it's edge and use the saws moving table to set the 45 degree cut. You'll have a much greater chance of getting four perfect mitered corners. You took the time do it right, you earned the perfect box. Don't let a janky beveled head rob you of that hard work.
