If you think about it, the ones that know are the least excitable of the bunch. Saikawa keeps trying to get proof everytime she spots Elma and Take is still an unknown. The others either barely had reactions, are extreme Otakus or are already part of that world. Chloe seems to be the only exception
It's so nice seeing how competent of mage Shouta is. Meanwhile Saikawa thinks all his magic talk about leylines and stuff is playing pretend or something.
I think it’s less that she defines herself by Tohru’s opinion of her, and more that she can’t stand when Tohru gets that smug look on her face and starts teasing her.
I love Elma's little "eep" a 1:08. Also, I like how they animated that scene - she is moving so fast, she really can't avoid hitting one branch after another! Just love Elma (and all the characters). Saikawa's "you boys" to explain away every odd, supernatural thing Shouta says/does is comedy gold.

She does that from time to time.” means she gave him a lot of motivation to learn that counter to the point that he could stop her. And she’s Spectator Faction.
Shouta is effortlessly blocking spells casted from Dragons at 11 years old. I can't imagine how experienced with magic his Dad is, and if you think about it, his dad is a incredibly responsible mage and a humble man, He could easily make his family rich with alchemic gold, but instead runs a business like a normal person would. He has ties with the world the Dragons come from (such as knowing Toru's dad.) so who knows what else he's capable of.

This scene really made me smile. Shouta's character development is perfect, when he is first introduced he is timid and shy. but now he has more confidence and even able to cast spells pretty good. Kudos to you Coolkyousinnjya, you made Shouta's progress on point.
I love how pretty much every frame of Elma bolting through the woods is different, as if each individual step was carefully and meticulously animated. Adds to the comedy that such a hilarious moment is so well animated. Gotta love Kyoani ammirite?

Well considering Elma has been a punching bag for Tohru's abuse like how she punched her in the face out of nowhere, I'm pretty sure Elma has lots to fear from Tohru after she put some trust and responsibly on her to watch over the kids. XD

It's interesting how Shouta and Saikawa saw Elma's disappearance in different ways. It kinda shows their relationships to their family. With Shouta having a demanding father and Saikawa having a loving sister, it kinda makes a contrast between how the two think.
To think Shouta was able to block a magic coming from a dragon, Elma goes head to head against Tohru, while still being a child is impressive. He's pretty strong
The scene where Elma makes Valentine chocolate for everyone but ends up eating it all by herself is when I started liking her and this scene is when I decided she was my favorite.
