I'm loving this newfound love and appreciation for Nicolas Cage. Wasn't very long ago everyone was making fun of him and dismissing his movies, but it seems like the respect is back.
Nicholas Cage is such an interesting dude. The man has some god awful movies but he also has a lot of mediocre and amazing movies too. The dude can act with the best of them if given a good script/writers and directors, which is why we are starting to see a resurgence I think. He’s been in some good movies recently.

Until a friend of mine told me that I had to see Mandy and Color out of Space.
I loved those so much, I've been following his work much more now and I get genuinly excited whenever I see an announcement for a new movie he will play in ^^

Cage is the same man both on and off screen. He doesn't need to act he's just himself and those are the best actors. All my fave movies feature Cage, it's hard to pick one but I've always loved Wild At Heart which features another one of my fave actors Laura Dern, whose father I also love. It's funny I always thought Cage and Dern would make a great couple, both are bonkers but adorable. Never understood all the hate he gets.

I saw his latest film in the 1st day it was released here. It was fun. The audience loved it! Much laughter and everyone clapped when it was over. That doesn't happen often when at the movies. I left with a big smile. It's great when a film gets an emotional reaction out of you and you take that home. Well done!
