Every other time the area has been occupied by invading forces. The Romans named the area Palestine (which the British later adopted) after the Philistines (the Romans called it the land of the Philistines). The Philistines were themselves a sea-going people who originally came to the Levant area from islands in the Aegean sea. People calling themselves Palestinians today are really a mix of many peoples who invaded and occupied the area. They are not all Arabs (not even close). The Palestinians may speak Arabic, but they are ethnically not all Arabs. The Jewish people know exactly who they are, and they have been in the area over 4,000 years, and they actually never left, and they have every right to be there, and if anyone doesn't like that, well that is just too bad because they're staying there.

Plus, what advantage the future graduates will have after spending time protesting and not learning.

I'm sorry, are you arguing against college on the basis that some people with degrees end up in jobs that don't require one? There are still lots of jobs that do require college education and many of them require graduate degrees. Those also happen to be the jobs that pay the most in wages and are some of the most important jobs that exist (STEM, law, academic research, history, etc)

They don't have a right to impose on other peoples' rights, because when they do that, they have severely abused their right to free speech. They also don't have a right to trespass and deface property they don't don't own (in this case university property). They need to be reminded (which in their case means getting expelled, fired, put in jail for at least one year, and deported if they are on student visas) that the university is not their personal property where can they do what they please.
