    I have a similar need on our small property with a neighbor right next door. I want to get something planted to allow us for some privacy. Not a big fan of pine trees but, I can't deny how well they function. Never seen that dibbler tool. I will have to look into one of those when I decide what to plant. Great video.

    I'm in the same boat as you in terms of land next door selling and wanting privacy now along the long stretch exactly like how you have done. I was going to do 3 rows wide (each row staggered for more privacy) with spacing like yours. How far apart would you say row to row is? my guess was maybe 12-15ft so the trees can bush out in between.

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  4 года назад +2

      Probably 12 feet (recommend even wider), these pines get so large and bushy that they will be touching in just a few years. Cedars offer the most privacy, but about 5-6 small cedars cost what I paid for a 1000 pines (not kidding).

      No there was not a easement, when the property beside me sold from the same family that owns the back property, it cut their road off. Thus the reason for a new road to the back property that is still owned by the original family. The trees are very affordable, 60 bucks per 500 trees.
