Hey guys I was just wondering if you guys seen the video of the "10 of the most evil wrestlers" from the RUclips channel Savox cause it's dark and terrifying.
I feel like the last few years with Logan, Pat McAffee, and Bad Bunny have really spoiled us when it comes to celeb matches, because not only can you see the work those guys have put in, but they are hitting moves that non-wrestlers shouldn't be able to hit. LT and Bam Bam was good for its time, and I think still holds up today. It's just that we've had like 3 or 4 years of the bar being raised to unfeasibly ludicrous levels
I can't say this is _definitely_ what should've happened by any means, but after revisiting the early 2013 era of WWE, I think CM Punk should've broken the Streak. I'm not going to say that he's the best option out of anyone else ever to face Taker, but if it was going to end at around that time then I think Punk was the best option. I say this if only for the thought of the level of promos he could've had and the sheer enormous surge of momentum that he would've been able to ride for years. Punk was and is a lot of things, and a great talker is one of them. He was easily my favorite heel going at that point looking back. It could've been amazing imo.
Old-school wrestling tradition is you go out on your back and Taker is as old-school as it gets. He was always going to use the streak to put over a younger guy. But I agree Brock wasn't a good choice. He was already over as a monster heel and he was never going to stay around long.
They tried to make Roman like Cena and it didn't work. I also feel like they tried to make Bray like Undertaker and it didn't work either. Also i did not know about that Dean Ambrose thing. Damn WWE
Nine times out of ten, a World Title match SHOULD close out a big show, but when you have two big names facing off in a match that transcends any gravitas and intense atmosphere a championship can provide, THAT match goes on last, bar none.
24:40 technically they actually did do a video package for the match. But it was done earlier in the night interspliced with Drowning Pool playing Tear Away live
38:29 From what I saw, he had two arm wrestling matches in WWE. The first was against John Cena in 2008, which seems fairly reasonable in kayfabe at least. Like, Cena worked out like crazy to build up those muscles, and they loved frequently showing off just how much he could lift. The second, and the one you were likely referring to, was against Sheamus in 2013. Which... just no. Dude is strong, but no where near Mark Henry strong.
The Rock was born in California and after that lived in Toronto for an extended time. Keep in mind his dad is Canadian and wrestled a lot in that territory.
If there's one thing I could have from the new Triple H era, it's giving the more passed up on guys something to do that makes them feel important. Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn are two of my favorite wrestlers, but they've had nothing of substance in years on the main roster. All I want is to see them getting a moment to shine with the top players. Both are _so_ good and have proven they can get over, but they've been shoved aside forever! And I can't understand why! Both could be top players so easily, just give them a chance. Same to Kofi, Big E, and Cesaro. Just try giving them an actual shot with a strong story. What's the worst that could happen? Edit: Yes, this is very out of date by now. I wasn't caught up at all when posted, just ignore this.
What the hell are you talking about? Sami Zayn is in if not one of the biggest storylines, on Smackdown rn. And Nakamura literally fought Gunther for the the IC title not long ago. Also Big E is currently injured and Cesaro's not even with the company anymore, I swear some of you wrestling fans complain just to complain for absolutely no reason without doing actual research first lmao.
@@UndyingHatred_ I hadn't been keeping up, that's why. Last I had seen at that point, Sammy was getting chased by Drew McIntyre while swearing he wasn't a coward and Nakamura was last seen getting superkicked out of the tag team scene by the Usos. The fact that Peacock is a full month behind on replays and I rarely have the ability to watch it live also doesn't help...
@@Jason_Altea Okay sure, but their youtube channel exists for a reason. They literally upload 3 minute clips for people who haven't been able to keep up on what's been going on.
@@UndyingHatred_ I know, but I prefer watching the full shows instead of just highlight clips. Gives more context that way. I'm probably going to wind up just jumping back in pretty soon with the most up-to-date episodes I can. I've only been hearing good things about the direction WWE had been moving lately, so I'm excited to watch it whenever I can.
@@Jason_Altea understandable, and yes i can confirm that wwe has definitely gotten a whole lot better. and all it took was for vince to basically fuck off for good. so since Triple H is now in charge, i’d say it’s definitely been watchable.
Thank god Vince is gone and triple h is ruling the kingdom because clash at the castle was *chef kiss* gorgeous best wrestling show in 10 years Edit: my vision is blurry I should be getting my eyes checked soon.
This one was a little harder for me to sit through, with Nate constantly repeating "and again" every 2 minutes. Just got grating. No hate intended, but once I noticed it, it just wouldn't leave.
Could you elaborate more for me, as this being wwe a topic I am not familiar with it. What parts of their commentary were relevant and what parts were boring too you. This is a serious question btw, timestamps would be fine too.
@@thesynical939 … WWE has nothing to do with it, and I don’t think I need to elaborate at all. What I said was very clear. Nate, the guy on the left, kept repeating “and again” over and over and over. It got grating and was hard to sit through.

The entirety of wrestlemania 36 was awful yeah the boneyard match was great but I’m sorry the sound of crickets is not what I want to hear when drew McIntyre wins his first wwe championship yes I know the pandemic put the world in a difficult position at the time but that doesn’t mean I have to like it in fact I consider wrestlemania 37 the real wrestlemania 36 since it’s basically a do over it’s in Raymond James stadium and has the pirate theme the crowd makes the show for me and I honest to god hated the performance centre/thunderdome era

PFK just uploaded an absolute banger today. 10 belts never used on television. I definitely recommend it.
Taker should have been able to retire with the Streak intact, or at least someone who had more respect for the business...
