- A very common case where patient's tooth was discolored due to trauma. How would you treat it ?
Please Note:
Updated literature says you do not need to routinely perform Root Canal treatments on teeth that need crowns. (there are still exceptions to this rule but majority of abutments not need RCTs)
(Also when i say "daant sensitive hojayayga it means pulp exposure :) Jaldi mai boldia so sounds like sensitive ho toh rct, which isn't the case)

Doctor, I am 25 years old, and I have a discoloured canine for past four to five years. Apart from slight greyish discolouration, its fine. Occasionally, it gets little sensitive with hot drink. Is it possible that my tooth is still alive and will probably last for the rest of my life? Also, I had braces 7-8 years back.

Please respond to me . What if the patients wants whitening as well are we going to do whitening first ? Or the crown first also tell me can't we go for zirconia veeners ? Minimal prep and better esthetics
Veneers most likely won't hide the color underneath because its very thin.
Internal Bleaching will most likely remove the need for any veneers/crowns though.
Lastly, any bleaching is always done before any crowns/veneers.
Mere bhi ese hi same hai or 2 baar ilaj bhi Kara liya but abhi hakka halka sa dard hota hai or toda sa ese hi same yellow hai please solution

Sir what's the difference between zirconia crown or layered zirconia ...as you said in video
Basic zirconia is usually not translucent. Layered zirconia looks natural and also incisal thirds are layered with porcelain to give the eventual prosthesis more natural and translucent.

Why you didn't go for the veneer???
A crown hides the underlying dark tooth structure much better than a veneer.

Dr Sahab hamare yeha 420 number k patients hote hai, agar temporary crown laga diya na wo patient wapas kabhi nahi ayega jab tak wo crown tut na jaye sirf paise bachane k liye, RCT hi bina complete kiye gayab ho jate hai agar pain chale jaye to.
Jee bilkul hota hai aisa laikin hum apna kaam bus sahi karain, baki tension na lain.
The tooth is sensitive because dentin is exposed when you prep the tooth. That doesn’t mean it needs a root canal! It needs a root canal if the pulp is exposed or irreversibly damaged. Anesthetize and temporize properly and sensitivity will not be an issue.
Extremely incorrect advice. Most teeth that need crowns do not need to be root canal treated.
You are spot on jee. Bolnay mai ghalti hogayi thi :) (please also check description of the video where i've clarified this already)
Do check other videos where i have said exactly what you've said that you do not need RCTs for abutments most of the time :)
