The first of a 3 part film series, ‘Memories of the Big House’. The films feature interviews with many people who have family memories of, and connections to, the Big Houses of Westmeath. Exploring life in and around the Big Houses, the films focus on the years 1916-23. Produced by award-winning film makers Bailey & Blake these documentaries were funded by the Decade of Centenaries, Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and Westmeath County Council.
