- In this video I find a cheap Coleman generator on Facebook market place and start the repair on it. After toying with it for a bit and a carburetor replacement it fires up and runs strong.

Wait, it ran for 5 minutes and then what happened? It looked like you had the carb off again for a split second at the very end there and it didn't seem good.
Sorry if it wasnt clear. I ended having to use parts of the new carb on the old carb. After using the new needle/seat, o ring and float bowl it is running. Ran it for over 30 minutes yesterday with some new non-ethanol fuel.
@@ASliceofWoodWorkshop Nice! I kind of had a feeling it would end up having to be a mix of parts and probably using the old carb body. Had pretty much the exact same issue on a mower a couple years ago and ended up doing mostly the same thing. Those cheap Amazon replacement carbs are usually not the highest quality items lets just say.
Yeah and the carb didnt have the same layout as the original even though it said it was exact replacement. I didnt think it was going to work, but was willing to try anyway. Thank you for watching!
