  • Having to go back to the hospital for my cancer check we decided to explore the Fethiye area. After a great night wild camping on Karaot beach we had a full day where nothing went to plan. The hospital visit, a steep winding road up to Cadianda and an unexpected search for a new wild camping spot made it an eventful day.

Do hope the change in medication will help you.
Looked up Saklikent - beautiful area in the canyon. Interesting first place that had the ? burial chambers - unable to look that up as unsure of the spelling of the name of the place.
Thank you for sharing from Australia.

Years ago I drove with friends up the Babadag road about a 1/4 of the way up we turned off to the left and parked up. Then continued across the plateau to the summit of Mendos. Was really good walk and we saw no one.

@@AtHomeInTurkey interesting place - also read about the Equestrian Tomb Monument there and maybe has the relief of Hector. I do enjoy learning about the places you visit. Did Classical Civilisation at University but not a lot learnt about Turkey. Thank you.
