I saw Kasteel de Haar in the Netherlands back in 2009 and Alcazar de Segovia in Spain in 2108, they are breathtakingly beautiful! Excellent video and I hope to visit the others someday!

Hey man, I think you deserve more visibility. I know more than 200.000 followers are a lot, but I repeat it again, you are "underrated". Your videos are beautiful, your editing is awesome. Plus you are the guy who goes around the world, not to act stupid, like many vloggers do, but to let people know the world and to show them how beautiful it is. I can see you enjoy your trips, because you show true interest in knowing all the different cultures around the world. The only thing concerns me, is the "flip over" stunt. Sometimes it can be very risky, especially when you do it next to the sea cliffs ... but it's your choice 😉 Keep posting videos like these man, keep up the great work your doing!!!

The Transylvanian castles have so much character and mystique. I'll bet Eastern Europe has lots of hidden gems.
thats exactly the point why they are so great, 20 years ago i went to croatia in vacation it was great, today its overrun
I love your shots of Neuschwanstein castle and the red conned ones as well... I love the choice of weather you choose to shoot these when you are there, nobody does it as professionally as you do. Keep up the good work! It's just like watching one of those professional shots done on every 4K UHD TV screens printed at Best Buy... I love your attitude as you express your enthusiasm of the places, because of the way your voice actually blends in with the vibrant colors of the each old city or castle videos you make while making your traveling videos. I hear a vaccine against the Coronavirus might be near. If this Pandemic ever dies down, the countries I highly recommend you visit are places like Vietnam, Thailand, Pacific Islands, Australia, and above all our one and favorite New Zealand.. Even recommend if there is a software that maybe you republish these like you just did in 4k UHD 3D. Ryan Shirley you can go home with your head held high it's a million yes's for me.

EXCELLENT coverage. I've visited two: 1) Kasteel de Haar & 2) Salzburg castle. In two time I was so close to visit the fairy tale one, in south Bavaria, but the plan got canceled :(
Great video as always, greetings from Slovakia 🇸🇰 Orava and Spis castles are definitely worth the visit. Also for example Bojnice castle. We got quite many hidden gems here. From other castles mentioned, Dunnottar in Scotland was amazing too, beautiful scenery, highly recommend.

@@RyanShirley From personal experience, Beckov castle is pretty photogenic, Devin castle has nice location on the confluence of Danube and Morava rivers and Cachtice castle was home to the "Blood Countess" Elizabeth Bathory. Also multiple castles including Bratislava castle and Devin castle were blown-up during the Napoleonic Wars. @@RyanShirley of course the fairytale-like Neuschwanstein castle in germany is our favorite.. but weve also been to Bran castle (creepy) and Edinburgh castle in scotland...

As European i knew most of castle from your list but thank you for extending my long list of cartes to visit ;)
So i you ever return to Poland you should check out Moszna Castle witch is most beautiful Poland Castle original build by German family
and Castle of Ogrodzieniec that you ca know from The Witcher show, located in Eagles nest trail where you can find over 14 castles on hills and rocks;
And just near by Ogrodzieniec you should take a look at 'Okiennik Wileki' (Window rock) with stunning aerial view just about 10 minutes from Ogrodzieniec;
👑 🏰 💒 Great video! Would love to see the last castle in Germany. It's very famous and beautiful. What? No castles from France? The castles in the Loire Valley were lovely. What is nice is you can visit several in a day because many are located close to each other.

Thanks for a great list 👍 I think Loire Valley in France has the highest number of royal and private castles in the World - definitely not to be missed! I absolutely loved the Chateau du Clos Luce which used to be Da Vinci's home, now turned into an open-air museum (among many others)

Of the ones on your list I've toured Edinburgh, Hohensalzburg, Eltz, and Neuschwanstein. I've never considered Neuschwanstein a real castle. It's more of a palace built in the shape of a castle. Similar is Windsor Castle which started out as a castle and evolved over time into a palace. I'd also recommend Bodiam Castle in the SE of the UK. It's a semi-ruin, but many parts of the interior are still intact. My bucket list includes Caernarfon in Wales, Carcassonne in southern France, and Guédelon in central France.
My first Castle I visited in Europe was Castillo de Gibralfaro in Malaga Spain. Right next to that castle at the foot of the hill is the Alcazaba. Both are a must see if in Southern Spain.
This is absolutely amazing place to visit I wish we can all visit this places

I think Bojnice Castle is more beautifull than Spis Castle. You should make part 2 because there are more castles in France, Switzerland, Germany which are pretty nice.

Castle and chateau: Frýdlant (Czech republic)
The original medieval castle, extended in the 16th century to a Renaissance chateau, became the property of the famous Thirty Years War commander, Albrecht von Wallenstein in 1622, He turned it into the centre of his extensive Frýdlant duchy. The last noble owners were the Clam-Gallas, who opened the castle already in 1801 to the public; Frýdlant therefore became the oldest castle museum in Central Europe. Castle interiors can be seen (mementos from Albrecht von Wallenstein, the Knight’s Hall with portraits of the Gallas and Clam-Gallas owners, armoury, estate office, collection of historic pipes), as well as chateau interiors (state rooms, ladies’ and gentlemen’s rooms, children’s room, bathroom, kitchens). All the rooms are furnished with the original furniture, paintings, porcelain and other items. The Renaissance Chapel of St. Anne is also part of the tour. Occasionally the tours are enlivened by guides in costume, cake baking in the kitchens, concerts etc.

Your choice is really good. The Castles are extremely beautiful (except Spis). You could have included Bojnice Castle, instead of Spis. It's really beautiful and it's also in Slovakia.

I'm surprised you have no French castles! Some of my favourites are Château de Chambord, Château de Chennonceau, Château de Fontainebleau and of course Château de Versailles.
In England Blenheim Palace and Castle Howard are nice, along with Windsor Castle and Hampton Court.

Neither Blenheim PALACE nor Castle Howard are castles. They are stately homes built in the 18th century.
Many of these are not castles but palaces.
You can make a top 10 or a top 20 in Poland alone. They have some incredibly interesting castles.

Where are the castles from France? I'm VERY surprised you didn't include the most famous ones; Chambord, Chenonceau, Fontainebleau, Versailles and SO many others that are worthy of your list. Maybe you should do a video on French castles.

As a German I got to admit I like all of them and surely you skipped a lot of cool European castles but for me the most beautiful and hogwarts-like one is actually in Canada, Chateau Frontenac. In Germany you probably would like to visit Schloss Löwenburg in Kassel, Neues Palais, Babelsberg, Cecilienhof and Sansoussi in Potsdam, Schloss Löwenburg, Drachenburg, Schweriner Schloss and Wartenberg

As a world traveller myself, id say this list is descent but it's missing some castles that are just as good or better than some listed here. There's Chateau de Chillon in Switzerland, Chateau de Chaumont in France, Hohenzollern castle in Germany, Pena Caslte in Portugal, Predjama castle in Slovenia, Trakai Island castle in Lithuania, Citadel of Carcassonne and Sully sur Loire castles in France, and of course Guita tower or San Marino castle.
