Oddly, clicking "1 reply" does not reveal the reply for me. Hanging broms upside down is contrary to what other tutorials explain. I'm unsure if your first reply solved this mystery. I wondered about this upside down instruction so much, I went back to to this section to see if I'd missed an explanation, but nope.

What you said is correct, those below will grow outwards and upwards to collect water. Furthermore, they do need to be fertilized as there are not air plants. I realized it after tying them to tapioca trunk and they grow well by taking the nutrient fr the trunk which I attached. Now I need to find alternative to grow them as the tapioca trunk has dried out and bromeliad has longer and thinner leaves. 😅🤣
Awesome...so beautiful and heartwarming.
I've always read that bromeliads need water in the leaf cup. Kind of difficult if they are upside down. Perhaps this particular variety is different.
Верно! Это очередной "специалист" с Ютуба. В сфагнуме будет гниль и плесень. Эффект был бы тот же, если натолкать туда грязных носок и полить мочой.

It's def interesting, but how to water it, and what happens if it's windy? And shouldn't broms be planted upright so they can hold water in the cup?
Yes, had the same questions too.
Fantastic 😊 👍
Nice one 🖐atsuuup 👍

How do you water that
Total cost?
I'd smile too. What you have is hundreds of dollars in that creation. How do the upside down ones hold water in crown. Oh they don't.

Yes I was wondering about that. Normally I try to plant so that they can cup the water. Also, I wouldn't replant a brom in flower. Too much stress.
В сфагнуме они сгниют.
Очередное видео несведущего человека. Ужасно что подобный контент приводит к потере растений и неудачах в выращивании.
What can be replaced that will not rot the plant?
