Awesome, my heart is singing every time you visit these amazing growers. I am a plant mom to around hundred of different species and I find plants the most fascinating. Thank you for doing so much for the plant community. 💚
I’m in Heaven from watching these two video documentaries on the beautiful variety of plants growing in the Thailand “Disneyland”. If my life was different I would be finding these places and visiting them all over the world. Thanks for bringing such lovely wonder into our homes.
Oh my…. I adore the paraquet flock, what a stunning sculpture. All the art is beautiful, what a fascinating space.
Anders Lindstrom is very impressive! It seems he knows the Latin name of every plant they possess and can recall it without effort. High five to him; I'm in awe. I was also impressed with his plant finding technique, on some occasions at least - "Pee Stop Finds" are a new plant collection idea on me!
Those little gems make me laugh every time
Your message is so strong, I find very difficult to express how much gratitude we own you. I've always been around plants, watching and reading your content made my connection even deeper and I feel more comfortable about it
So pleased. That is an accomplishment in and of itself
Staggering - incredible diversity!
The large Aechmea species is by far the best bromeliad. They grow tall, have the best flowers, are the most hardy to cold and sun and have beautiful leaves.
The largest collection of bromeliads I have seen in all my 35 years. I feel good when I see it. My chest hurts after seeing this. Congratulations to this gentleman.❤
I absolutely loved this, thank you so much Summer for sharing with us
You’re most welcome
It's always fun to watch how the same familiar plant is grown in other parts of the globe where the climate is different than yours. It's great to see a video where the native habitat is mentioned. That makes me better understand the needs of the plant.
I literally live for Summer's Plant Tours! Love these plant Guru's! Great to see how other places, countries do things to grow their plants. So much to see & learn for us plant Nerds
Very True and well said! I agree! :)
What a beautiful place. I could get lost there, and feel good about it.
Such an educational and delightful tour…
Thank you from South Florida!
Gorgeous. I would never want to leave. 🌱🌵🌸🌱🌵🌸♥️

What an amazing place and knowledgeable man! Thank you Summer for taking us there.
Youre welcome
What an AWESOME tour! I love how tactile you are Summer. I do that too. It is like you are introducing yourself to the plant. What a wonderful greeting!
It's funny because I can't help myself from touching them.
So happy to see this collection
This place is just amazing...I wish to visit it. I have been working with bromeliads (research) for a long time and I love them
A majestic wonderland. A garden of sheer beauty.
Thank You Summer, I ❤ the Field Trips!

Looks so beautiful especially at this time of year in New England. Thanks for sharing.

Nong Nooch is beautiful and with such a vast amount of plants
Holy moly! That is one humungous garden!
Wow many kinds of plants and are so beautiful.I really love them.
Very good video these plants are very colourful. Many thanks for sharing. I only wish I could get some of these beautiful plants
The wall of T. usneoides is amazing. I had a nice specimen that flowered for me indoors. It went back to Florida to live under the Live Oak at my parent's house. Plan to bring home another plant from my visit this winter. Love all the interesting patterns on the various bromeliad species and cultivars. Great video tour!
Glad you enjoyed Jane!
I’m very excited. My daughter surprised me for Christmas with your new book. Yeah! Sorry just had to say this
Oh that's so sweet of your daughter. Enjoy it!
What a collection! The Tim plowman curly and the vinicolor? Were my favs! Awesome place!
Glad you enjoyed
Thank you, beautiful again.
Very nice tour Summer, I will have to visit that city and garden when I visit Thailand next time.
Thank you for sharing.
Very amazing...! A paradise 😍😎
That giant tillandsia that grew in the ground was fascinating, never knew there were types that could grow that way.
Wow!
Thanks for the tips on potting bromeliad. Sand and coir. Although I use charcoal, peat and fine bark. Happy growing.
Wow very sympathic duo! He remind me very much of my botanics professor!
What a wonderful plant tour. Thank you so much!!
Wow thanks for this video. I love broms😘
Wow this tillandsia heaven on earth
Woh! Beautiful collections. Always a pleasure to watch your videos. I didn't know that bromeliads are so colorful. I would just grow them for thoses leaves.
Amazing collection it's almost like a litle city, thanks for sharing
Oh how fantastic! ! Just such fantastic information. There is so much beauty around us.I am ready to go out and garden after watching :-)
❤️❤️❤️ From the Philippines 🇵🇭! Very value-adding content as always. 🙂 Love the private collection, gelt like a VIP access. Would be great to visit Nong Nooch when I visit 🇹🇭
wow, the trees are so many and beautiful
What a vast and amazing collection. Interesting to see the Billbergia in their perforated clay pots ~ I've never seen this before and am guessing it's for added aeration of the roots.
Thank you! AMAZING
Spectacular...
Loved it already. At about 35:00 my head exploded!
O boy curly sansevieria bromeliads must have.. def a space saver plant
Awesome tour Summer❤️
You’re welcome
WOW! i wish i was there with a basket! it looks like a plant mall!
Fabulous.
I definitely appreciate conservation efforts!! I think it's great to see how much they're trying to preserve on their own, even in a place that isn't like, set up to be dry.
I def would have a concern about keeping like, potentially invasive stuff fully outside. Better to keep your like, kalanchoes inside, even if they're endangered
Twisty Sunshine like
Wow so cool thanks for sharing
wow,I loved,I'm from Brasil,a have many plants, but this is amazing
I'm fascinated with broneliads and tillandsias so I'm looking forward to this. Bought a guzmania not so long ago and it's easy to care for and looks nice anywhere

Amazing collection
Very impressive collection nice video.
Watching
Tillandsia Andreana and Funckiana are two different species, I have them both sitting in front of me in my window :) That being said great video, I really love the green house/garden tours!
I thought so too, but when I looked it up on Kew, they put T. funkiana into T. andreana now 🤷🏽♀️ I'll have to go back into the literature to see if that was just human error.
snes so annoying!
Great video.. Thank you.
My pleasure
wow,,,so nice
Beautiful
Wow ilove bromeliads.
Kudos
Merry Christmas and happy new year
Nice plant, 🌱🎥👍👌
...been to Nong Nooch garden...but wasn't able to roam inside😧great great collection of bromeliads 😄
nice indoor bromeliad garden
The fist one that you showed from the private collection we use them as fence in El Salvador and we do make atol from the fruit 😅
Oh yeah bromeliads are on my list, of plants to try!
I recommend Billbergia nutans - Queen's Tears. It's quite easy, more delicate looking than most, and very floriferous! But that doesn't mean don't buy lots of others ...

👍wowwww👍👍
truly, Heaven is a place on earth
I have heard that the cloud forest bear, the speculated bear's big staple diet is bromeliads. Does anybody else know more about this? Isn't that cool though? Sun birds!, great info Summer. As always, Thanks for the video, education, and entertainment. The light's returning here! BROME YA
I don’t know about the spectacled bears 🐻 diet!
Amazing, what a beautiful collection. Any possibility I can order mine 😍😍
What a beautiful garden i dont know what isaid its a wonderful garden because im a bromeliad lover Thats another garden ideas I thank u miss i dont know whats ur name because this my first time to watch ur chanell or vlog Thank u so much have a beautiful day Take care
Bromélias e Tillandsias são do continente Americano, aqui no Brasil tem muitas bromélias e Tillandsias ♥️
i believe that the reason they get deeper or darker reds etc in the colder and darker times is part of the photosynthesise mechanism altering the wavelength and maximising the warmth absorbtion maintaining optimal growth energy for the condition
Perfeito tudo o que Deus criou.
Camera work is fantastic. Outstanding video. I think I missed how the area is watered. Is the area only receiving water in rainy season?
😍
Tillanlsia asneoides.... will that's on my list for sure... 🤸♂️
Vriesias do well here in southern malaysia with the higher rainfall. I grow it on tye ground
Fantastic tidbit of info. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video, I'm a bromeliad lover. Love architectural plants. I have a lot out and indoor, some species are hardy to minus 8°C. They have a CAM metabolism and produce O2 at nights.
Nice private collection and Thai production!!
Mam came to Indonesian and meet mr Greg Hambali (fathers aglonema)❤️
I wasn't sure I was going to watch all 50 minutes of this video I just couldn't get into the first almost 10 minutes that I watched. I've come back to this video and now have watch 30 minutes of it and it gets much better . It's not about the care of bromeliads it's just about how hard it is maybe to grow bromeliads as a mass planting in a hot climate in the Sun ... Not sure I'm going to watch all those 50 minutes I'm sorry summer I was too quick to quit watching and commenting on this video... I usually enjoy summers video but this video takes a while to understand where it's going... I don't know that much about bromeliads so my expectations or different than what this video was about.
Kathleen Murphy Well you didn’t pay attention. It’s called an interview.
@@MultiFreddy34 I understand it's called an interview but the interview was talking about the plant and they weren't showing the plant they were showing the man's face I didn't tune in to see a man's face. I tuned in to see the bromeliad up close it was disappointing
Summer Raine i hope you took my comment as a positive and not a negative... I am a plant person and really enjoy being able to see plants I can't see in person. I'm limited in what I can go out and see in person. Even on my own channel I choose to show my plants instead of me because it's not about me it's about my plants. Also it's partly because all the technology I can use to film with I only have my cell phone available to me. Also it's hard to watch people talk about their plants but it's mostly them I see on my cell phone screen or my tablet screen. I have no problem with you appearing on screen whenever you do your videos when you're talkin about things and you have your table set up in front of you cuz I can see all your plants. But since I'm not watching it on a big screen TV I kind of wish that there were more close-ups of the plants you're talkin about. I don't know how many people aren't able to watch on a computer screen or a big screen TV so maybe I'm in the minority when I speak about this. I mean no harm or criticism when I make this suggestion. But in your video there wasn't much close up of the plants by the person holding the camera it was more panting the group of bromeliads rather than focusing on one or two so you really could get a feel for more than a few seconds of what the plant was really like. Maybe it's jealousy because I wasn't there to look at all those things in person tee hee. I love your videos
Hi Kathleen, I respect your comment. Not all my videos are for everyone. What I like about RUclips is the longer format, however. I would have been doing my host and Nong Nooch a great disservice if I didn’t show the scope and scale of their operation too while still showing their plants. Even though this was 47 minutes long, it covers about 35 plants, or one every 75 seconds; and we try to go in depth into each one. I know most people will never get an opportunity to see a place like this, to see a large scale operation of Tillandsia and bromeliad Propagation, of the creative ways to display, the hardships some plants face and what they look like when they get too much sun, for instance, and sometimes that means not always showing a close up collage on plants. I think places like Instagram are better for getting quick Plant fixes, but I want to help tell the human story as well-at least on this channel. Additionally, though I wish I had the budget for two camera people, I don’t, so we don’t always get adequate close ups. We were dealing with a camera on the fritz with the heat, audio hiccups, and heat that was unbearable to my camera person but he was such a good sport. Though I think people think these are high budget excursions. They aren’t. It’s just two of us trying to put out beautiful content on plants and the people who love them. We can’t hit the mark with everyone, like we didn’t with you, but like I said, it’s about creating something that is fulfilling for me and for those who care to watch it. Thanks for your feedback
@@summerrayneoakes oh my gosh I think this is more drama than I ever thought it would be. I was just making a suggestion for maybe the future I don't like to be a complainer. When I watch a video I always comment because if someone takes the time to make a video for me to watch I always like to take the time to make a comment! I'm honored that you replied show my comment! Because you have thousands and thousands of subscribers and viewers. I always try to remember to click like before you can watch a video because it's the least I can do for people who take the time to make a video for me to watch. Also at the time I was watching your video there was some drama going on and is still going on with the health of my one son I guess I was just trying to on the way to escape what was going on around me I looking at God's gifts to us these beautiful plants. And I don't know a lot about bromeliads and I was fascinated by seeing so many. It was very interesting hearing his insight into how difficult some plants are to grow and to propagate and how by hybridizing some you come up with a much stronger plant. And I realize you don't have a big budget for your Productions and it's not always easy to film especially in a hot humid climate. I'm sorry I came across as being unappreciative of all your hard work. I feel like now maybe I didn't give enough time watching the video before I made the comment I did. As I watch a video I called in as I go along and sometimes I think I called it too much but it's just me I like to interact and it feel like I'm having a meaningful conversation with the person that I had the video posted. As if we were sitting having a cup of coffee talkin about the video and the plants. I appreciate all your videos that I realized you weren't the one doing the filming. I just thought maybe whoever fills for you could have spent a little more time focusing on the plants. When the plants are on the screen you can still hear the person talking. I've enjoyed your videos and I especially enjoyed your video at NSE tropicals and I think that video there was a lot of time spent on the plants which is the part I enjoy the most. And you're right the thing about RUclips is everyone couldn't set up things the way they want and the way they feel comfortable. Thank you so much for responding to my comment. The problem with comments and texts and emails and even a phone call is we can't see facial features and we can't here tone of voice on a text or an email. It's funny about communication throughout history our first Communications were face-to-face before writing was invented and I guess then as long as both people spoke the same language there wasn't a lot of misunderstanding and what was meant by what was said. So I apologize for the bottom of my heart if you took it as criticism it wasn't meant that way God bless you and all your work. If you ever get back to that lady's home that had all the Hoya collection I would love to see more of her. I would love her to explain her setup which was so interesting and where did she buy all that equipment to keep precious Hoyas in that needed extra help. She just had such an interesting setup that you probably could have spent a week of video and get her place. I do remember your videos and I do enjoy them God bless you and keep you safe and all your Journeys around the world. You're a special person out there RUclips land
My roommate's cat used to chomp down on the leaves of my bromeliad, it seemed quite delicious, so I can understand why some other species have spines for protection!
WOW, those Funkiana displays were amazing. Is this place selling those huge displays or are they only for show and propagation material?
