Great story. I'm glad Ian was arrested and that things turned out well. In my opinion Helena should have been arrested too since she forged her sister in law's signature on the divorce form, and also was an accomplice in the treatment of her mother in law.
Who did the house belong to? If it belonged to the MIL, then the BIL and Helena and Scout should have been evicted from it. It doesn't tell in the story, but I hope that if the house belonged to the MIL, she could sell it and get those abusive people out of there and make them homeless.
WHAT A VERY INTERESTING STORY. THE HUSBAND WAS USELESS AT THE BEGINNING, WHEREAS HI8S WIFE HAD MORE BALLS THAN HIM. THEN HE FINALLY GREW INTO A MAN SIZE SET OF BALLS AND SAVED HIS MOTHER WITH HELP OF HIS SON PO RIVER. THE IN-LAWS GOT THEIR JUST DESSERTS AND PUNISHMENT FOR WHAT THEY DID. THE OUTCOME OF THE STORY WAS VERY GOOD.

The elder brother was greedy. He wanted MIL's assets.
The story is narrated as if it's a puzzle that needs to be filled in. Makes little sense to me.
