Love your channel! I'm just getting into the fragrance world & my main experience of fragrances comes from using beard products. I like to try to choose a fragrance that matches or complements what beard products I wear. My favourite notes/accords are tobacco, oud, Woods, leather, smoke.

Lemon itself is an accord I'd say. A note wouldn't feel so lively and rich. It's an accord produced by nature, but still composed buy multiple substances. Arguably, even most single molecules typically should be called accords, since they tend to trigger several different types of olfactory receptors and therefore contain combinations of several notes.

This basics episode was particularly helpful. After getting the "wrong" Bleu de Chanel, the EDT, and later hearing about the "amber" note in the EDP I know now what people are talking about LOL

Don't quote me on this, but I think the smell of leather is a result of the processing of the product and how it's made to smell better than it actually does. So in a way the leather accord in perfume is mimicking the leather accord in leather products. Crazy huh?

.10s for most of my guitars. I'll use .11s on guitars with a Gibson scale length.

The majority of sales associates at Neiman, Saks, Macy's don't have a clue half the time when using fragrance lingo. Throwing in a little bit of music theory, fancy pants.

I wish youd go back to the old school review style. these green screen BuzzFeed type videos are boring to watch because they are all the same. other than seeing you and hearing your voice, it's hard to differentiate your videos from FragBoy Stewies, from Max Forti, from Cascade Scents, etc. I mean it's okay, but the reason I stayed loyal to your channel is because you didn't follow the stupid trends that go on in the community. I get that people want their videos to look more professional, but when I watch a review on a fragrance I am thinking about getting, I want an opinion from a down to earth person. nowadays it's like watching a video of a sales associate. people used to post to help guys pick a fragrance out, now people post for views and money and the quality of the information has dropped.

+King Metta My channel still has all the old school content that it's always had. I always post one review a week, and that hasn't changed. I always have a second midweek video and that hasn't changed. The main change that I've made is that now I try to do 5 videos a week if I can, and some of those are sponsored. The content I make always comes from a place of wanting to help people first. But as a video creator, I have to constantly improve my quality and adapt my content when possible. I do agree that the majority of the fragrance community right now is focusing on dumb content, but the whole purpose of this basics series is to help people with basic questions. When people talk to me, they generally ask a lot of the same questions. With that in mind, I thought it would be great to make several videos answering these questions. So far it has been well-received, so I am happy about it.

Fragrance Bros. I understand it, I just hope your channel doesn't lose the good content like other channels have. fragrancebros has always been one of my favorite channels.
