I cannot do a con during the middle of the week. No way would I be able to get that much time off from work in a row to do it. Heck, sometimes it's a pain just trying to get a single day off at times.
BLFC was so much fun this year! I live locally so it worked out perfectly with my schedule. I’m sad that I missed you but it was still an amazing con for being throughout the weekdays!
At 1:26 I see the fursuit that made the spot the furry in a group of several people (the hammerhead shark fursuit) Also from seeing fursuit bowling anyone else think that fursuit ping pong would be a good idea?
@@SpamBoar me personally I don’t have a real fursuit made but I do have a paper one (and no I didn’t wear it for long) and I played ping pong in it and beat one of my parents somehow, and the eye holes for it are absolutely tiny so I think the visibility in a real fursuit is much better than those Also sorry for @-ing you Also WOW! I had not known that BLFC had moved from being held on the weekend to being Monday though Thursday in 2020 as I have never attended BLFC as it started as I had gotten tired of furry conventions by then as they have become quite old and moldy to me by 2013. My last regularly attended furcon was FC in 2013. I had attended every FC from between 2004 to 2013 and each year it just got older and older and by Sunday afternoon in 2013 I was really ready just to go home but my air flight was not until Tuesday late afternoon. Since February of 2013 I have only tried to attend three hotel held furry conventions and I can't say that they where all that enjoyable and the last one tails and tornadoes was by far the worst experience that I had the misfortune of ever dealing with with many other people as its a "VERY" badly ran convention and should be avoided at all costs.
This year's BLFC was really fun and im glad to have been part of it! Like you, I too didnt get to see all of my old friends from previous years at this furcon, but i had a wonderful week there and made new memories to look back on!
Does anyone remember the seller of the table at 1:26 after the camera panned from the Lemon Brat banner, or are those Lemon Brat’s suits as well? I liked the cyan/blue and white suit and need to find the maker 👀

But I really like weekend con schedules still personally. Also I had to stay an extra day because I love the dance, but it was on Thurs?? Terrible timing :( The dancer list was real different than I was used to which I guess was cause only certain people could make the week con, but wasn't too bad overall. I think if they adjusted it to a non-holiday week it'd be busier
A week day con does make a lot of sense for a lot of people as they are given a week of vacation from work and they are required from there employer to take it all at once during the work week aka Monday through Friday. The vast majority of fur con attendees are people that have jobs and are very limited on vacation days as they are quite young and have very limited vacation days that they can use as they are early in their careers. Then there is that hotels can be FAR cheaper during weekdays as most people take very short vacations over the weekend as they fly in Friday night and need to fly out on Sunday afternoon to be at work Monday morning only giving them Saturday to enjoy them self's. If you had the con start on Saturday and run through Sunday the following week that would give people seven entire days of furry convention fun to enjoy instead of trying to jam it all onto 24 short hours. If I had any desire to attend a hotel furry convention it would work best for me to be held during the work week as that's the best time for me to take time off. I work a two week schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday as I am a truck driver who works 12 hour shifts. For me to attend a weekend convention I am required to use up three or four days of vacation depending if its my weekend off or weekend to work. If the con was held during the work week then I could attend only using two vacation days and having an entire seven days to get there enjoy the con and get home.

But you will not truly understand that saying it until its way to late for you to enjoy your youth anymore as its long gone.

It was nice cuz it was on my short week. I work at a factory and having 3 days off of work during that time had me get 10 days off. Was super nice.
Really new and unique experience despite this being my 3rd attendance at BLFC. This particular furcon is always full of surprises. 😊
It was honestly great. Definitely seemed like the people there were definitely older.
I loved blfc this year! I went with my wife for our honeymoon and It was a lot more chill than I was expecting but definitely not boring!
