The reason why this fight is very anti-climatic. It’s bcuz Goku is not utilizing Ultra Instinct at all. As shown U.I. Goku vs SSJ Kefla, they being equals. Kefla was unable to land a hit or kick on Goku bcuz U.I. is a Perfected Flow State of Self Aware Movement. Toyotaro completely disrespects Goku’s U.I. by not using it in this fight at all. Smh. Ik why. He is tryna play it safe, to make it appear Gohan’s unearned Transformation is on par with U.I. Goku, but it’s not. Smh. There should’ve been a level of dedication and detail the both Goku & Gohan’s Transformations. Think of the art quality of U.I.P. Goku vs Moro. To add insult onto injury, Toyotaro is makin a mockery of Goten & Trunks. After training to fuse, all of a sudden they cannot fuse. Ridiculous. I’ve always said, I don’t want Goten & Trunks to always be reduced to Gotenks. They should not always rely on the fusion dance. I get Toyotaro is not a fan of their fusion. That’s fine. But turning these fan favorite characters into morons/ idiots is not the way. Goten & Trunks as children were Martial Arts Masters. Now as teenagers they have to be told to take off their helmets for the novice assessment the helmet blocks their vision? Smh it’s all down hill, fast. Good storytelling would be to show how lazy Goten & Trunks have become from their lack of training. This explain why they have regressed as fighters and why they cannot fuse properly. Gohan exposin their weaknesses in their versus. Teaches them to start training, and Neva neglect it. Show us how impossible it is for Beast Gohan to not be able to lay one punch or kick on Goku. The Superiority of Angelic Power. Ultra Instinct Mastered/ Perfected Goku Being The Strongest. Defeats Gohan, leaving Gohan astounded. He loses but it was expected. We then have an eager Vegeta test Gohan. Only for Gohan to once again be defeated. This fight should be an art spectacle. Ultra Ego Vegeta vs Beast Gohan. Let it be established that Both Goku & Vegeta are equals. If u want, u can say that Goku’s U.I. is just a bit ahead of Vegeta’s U.E. For obvious reasons. The chapter ends with Broly gettin pumped up from witnessing such powerful sparring. In conclusion with a stern serious face of Lord Beerus. Is he upset with the damage done to his planet?
