    It’s been brought to my attention that the queen is always placed on her own color. In this video I made the mistake of doing it backwards. Thank you to the various people who helped me realize this. I do hope you all get something out of watching this other than how NOT to put the chess pieces on the board. Thank you all very much

      Man idea is not bad, but there are a couple of things that should be done differently. First,the cells on the Board it was necessary to flip the other side up, because of the shrinkage of the resin it does not look aesthetically pleasing, second, the distance between cells should be no more than 2-3mm, the third color cells hurts the eyes, and the fourth lacks both alpha and numeric designations.

    Beautiful work! Did you make the chess pieces too, or did you buy them somewhere? I’ve been looking into making a chess board, but I don’t have the skills to turn the pieces myself

    This is absolutely beautiful. My medieval pieces would look fantastic on something like this. Too bad it’s not a little bit bigger.

    World's most durable chess set, well played sir!😉

    • @AGlimpseInside
      @AGlimpseInside  5 лет назад

      Funny you say most durable, I tested one of the checkers with a hammer and I honestly couldn’t break it until about the fifth the swing. I probably should’ve included that in the video but I didn’t think it was necessary

    Spray or paint the sides with mold release and they'll come off much easier...
