Some spicy cards, that fit perfect to your deck plan. -Witch of the moors -Heliod sun crowned -sheoldred whispering one -teferis protection -shambling ghast -mangara the diplomat -athreos god of passage Mikaeus is probably also pretty nasty if you let a edict creature enter, self sac, its coming back and retriggers I play all this filthy orzhov stuff and i love it.
I trick my friends once when attacking with power 2 and he receives it but.. I abuse the edict effect twice before damage.. And it ends up killing him.. With Commander damage
I am currently playing her in a pre con league at my LGS. We get a budget of $10 per week and can make 2 to 5 upgrades. Any spicy budget bombs you that didn't make your 99?
I think the most important adds are the tragic arrogance, eternal wanderer, and world queller. Let me get back to you with some that didn't make my list
@@OnlyLands-MTG I already added tragic and combustible gearhulk. I like the Wanderer and world queller. Wedding invitation and animation module as well.
@jasonbarager1317 ria Ivor bane is a really solid token generator that barely didn't make the cut and is super budget. With how big Carmen gets she can easily make you 20 tokens a turn.
This list is very high power and sadly requires a lot of fetch lands and expensive cards to play at that level. I could do a lower budget version but it definitely would be lower power. However if you go the route of fleshbag marauder still the strategy is just very oppressive so making a lower power but still oppressive deck doesn't feel super appropriate to me because you will likely end up in a situation where you play against decks that are too strong for you to keep up with or you stomp on weaker decks. I would probably switch strategies completely if I wanted to do a lower budget and lower power list.
Here is a budget version I threw together just because I was bored. Its probably 70% as effective but still oppressive. www.archidekt.com/decks/6807928/budget_carmen_scam_diego
As much as the decklist is great and all, but it wasn't budget friendly. Maybe suggesting also budget alternatives for certain cards. Any underrated legendary creature can be a great coomander when you put every single expensive cards in it.
I'll probably do some budget videos in the future but this is not a cEDH deck this deck is not AS powerful as possible. The expensive cards have high synergy with the commander and yes expensive cards tend to be powerful that's how the secondary market works for Magic. But I'm not just throwing in mana crypts and all the best tutors in here. I deliberately chose the cards in the deck that make Carmen uniquely powerful because of how she can abuse them. Also a large part of the budget is just in the mana base which for Carmen is sadly really important. The difference between having all the fetch lands and not with Carmen is a pretty large difference. I have no problem doing budget builds and respect the criticism if this deck is too expensive to be obtainable but I think the criticism of "of course ____ commander is good when you put in expensive cards" is really reductive and not an accurate description of what I am doing here. Also my lists are by design made for people to gain ideas from and see how they can make it work for their own playgroup and budget. You're smart I am sure you can find some budget alternatives yourself if you really want to :)

All great adds, I didn't include heliod because I didn't want any infinites but it's definitely a powerful add with the walking ballista. 👌
Who would you replace for these?
love my carmen deck, forsure adding a few cards from this video! Thanks bro
I love the sound effects for the machine gun. 😂
Also tbis inspired me given my play group is oppressive too. Lolz
Hahaha good luck gratatataing all over your playgroup!
Addition comment to help boost this amazing content!
Hahaha thank you so much I appreciate it!
this looks like an even nastier version on my mirko deck. i like being able to bring out big blue creatures though
Made it, played it, dismantled it. Looping gravedigger or plague crafter is just so oppressive.
Yep hahaha that's why I started with the ⚠️warning ⚠️ . Only suitable for high powered tables for sure.
I trick my friends once when attacking with power 2 and he receives it but.. I abuse the edict effect twice before damage.. And it ends up killing him.. With Commander damage
Im playing her in the halfling/food-artifacts deck
Nice I definitely think she is underrated in the 99 as well I'm glad you're getting good use out of her. She is just so flexible and gets so big.
My current favorite Commander
Yeah she is nasty!
everybody at my shop sleeping on carmen. i become the target every time i play her, boards usually empty :)
Yep that's usually the result... hahahaha

Shambling ghast as sac fodder, slightly better than new pirate, because you can use him as removal.
@bjoernlund85 yeah I forgot that guy exists haha def a solid add
I really wish you would make a more budget friendly version of this deck. I just can't sink that much money into a deck. Please ....Please!!!!

18+ power on one turn? Using blade of the bloodchief and abusing the edict. Dude she hit like a truck..
