Gotta say... I love the fact that you can appreciate this song and the extreme talents. You can recognize each voice and you're rockin with it. And you smile the whole time? It is so cool! 😎
fun fact: George Harrison formed this group because he was at the age where he didn't need money, didn't especially want a hit song, just was wondering what would happen if some of his actual real-life best friends [that he felt were the best musicians ever] got together and formed a group FOR FUN without expectations. You can hear it in the music- they were just loving this as much as listeners did
Harrison, orbison together put them together, but Springsteen brought them together, on his music show. They jammed so well it gelled them. Sorry for putting that in, not trying correct you. I just remember seeing the stage show, Orbison. The music on that was fantastic
His previous Band was showing signs of promise and potential. Shame they split up as they might have made it Stevie.. Funnily enough, I knew someone once with your name. Small World. It was about 2003...
George Harrison lead singer and guitar; Jeff Lynne with the beard and big hair; Roy Orbison with the sunglasses; Tom Petty with the hat and Bob Dylan with the lived in face, who was probably on harmonica - they are an incredible group so check out more songs.
JayVeeTV, This is what happens when a Beatle call's you up just to play some music and see what happens. I doubt someone like Bob Dylan would rush over for anyone else. Cheers, Chris Perry.
This is my absolute favourite by this band, followed by the End of the Line. End of the Line always makes me cry because there's just an empty chair with a guitar on it where Roy should be during his part :.(
Imapeach1 Roy Orbison’s vocal range was often accepted as being three octaves, though some suggest it reached four to five. What made Roy’s voice so unforgettable was it’s power, it’s pureness, and it’s emotion.
After The Beatles Travelling Wilbury’s are my favourite band of all time! each member of the band are legendary musicians that will never be forgotten, such an incredible band!!!😃👍☮️❤️
It made me chuckle when you recognized Bob Dylan from his younger photo and not when he was older :) Definitely check out their video for End of the Line, there is a very touching moment that I hope you'll notice. And hopefully you'll also react to Tom Petty's music, he's another legend that I've loved since high school.
"Is that Jeff Lynne?" I was laughing because you and most everybody else wouldn't recognize a clean shaven George Harrison. Also because Paul and John were the lead singers, George's voice is not as recognizable. Roy is my favorite oldies guy. Voice of an angel. React to some more of his, please.
@Richard Peters Only really old guys remember the beardless Beatles! Also bearded during his solo career. I agree about his voice. It's just that the other two sang so many of the hits, his is not remembered as much.
The Traveling Willburys made 2 albums a lot of great music. Sadly Roy Orbison pass away after recording his part of the song End of the Line. The story behind this super group is great too there is a documentary about it. Check out more of their music. Thanks
Thank you for playing this wonderful band, such a great song too. I'm old enough to remember all these guys in their early careers, and especially like Roy Orbison here in perhaps his last performance. I grew up in a small town very near his home in Wink, Texas so of course, have followed his music all these years. George Harrison also gives a great vocal in this number along with everyone else, we miss all of them.
I knew the first time I heard them that George Harrison and Roy Orbison were the first two singers but I couldn't remember the name of the group. Now I know thank you, its remarkable what memories lie hidden in the mind that suddenly come to life and reveal longer memories. Your reactions were wonderful Jayvee, I love to see you enjoying the music and singing along. So many of the greats are not with us now but you and others keep them alive through their music and refresh memories lost in the depths of time. God bless you all, take care and stay safe please my friends Mary-Ellen UK
You have to check out their song "End of the Line" next. You Have To!! The video is amazing. Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne (E.L.O.) George Harrison (The Beatles), Roy Orbison are all Legends!! Tom Petty played an awesome harmonica. These guys were great together. RIP Tom, Roy, and George!!
The Traveling Wilburys were, in my opinion, one of the greatest supergroups ever to have been assembled. To have people of the calibre of Dylan, Petty, Harrison, Orbison and Lynne was almost beyond belief. Another song you might want to check out by them and another one in which Roy Orbison sings lead is "Not Alone Anymore." Perfect!
Ohhhh Man 😍😍😍 im sooo glad to hear you appreciate Roy and All the old time GREATS IM FOLLOWIN you !! bein' born in the 60's was a Blessing 😍 love your love of our Misic era
super super singers and musicians , can only hope some other talent gets together and follows suit, it's a shame that 3 of those talents have passed already such a shame 😥 .
Classic. As George, Roy and Tom gone i find it nostalgic. They are singing about the end of the road in most of the songs, so a swan song for the supergroup.
Lol your reaction is the way I reacted when I found about the Traveling Wilburys. A great handful of my favorites in one group! I was gobsmacked initially and wished I could have them seen them live.
They weren't the first. Crosby Stills & Nash, Emerson Lake & Palmer, and Bad Company preceded them. However, to me they are the ultimate example of a supergroup. Just to put an ex-Beatle with Dylan is remarkable enough, but then Petty, Orbison and Lynne in addition - what a combo.
5 Rock and Roll Hall of Famers. George who was the first singer was recording an album and Jeff Lynne of Electric Light Orchestra (with the beard) was producing the album. George asked Jeff who he would want in a supergroup and George called them all up and they got together to write songs. That must have been some creative party!
Christy Christina MAGIC is what happens ❣️
Exactly.
Christy Christina it’s a great story about how the band formed, it was an accident you should definitely look into it.
Harrison, orbison together put them together, but Springsteen brought them together, on his music show. They jammed so well it gelled them. Sorry for putting that in, not trying correct you. I just remember seeing the stage show, Orbison. The music on that was fantastic
@@eliserichardson8814 Are you high? Or were you high when you posted this drivel?
So cool to watch them enjoying their craft together.
Super group is understated... this is Rock-n-roll Royalty!!!
Super-dee-duper group. Lol
Rock-n-royalty
This entire group is rock royalty. Great music from these guys .
Elvis was asked “what’s it like to have the best voice in the world?”....he replied, “you’d have to go ask Roy Orbison “
This is such a great song with the most amazing group of talented men.
I was grinning ear to ear all the time I was listening to this absolutely wonderful
A group of legends! Sad that Roy, George and Tom are no longer with us.
Sad but True and just today Bob Dylan released a brand new album at age 79. Its awesome.
Tom Petty is gone,as well..
Man George and Tom really broke my heart.
I'm going to be so torn up when Jeff Lynne goes. He's a super huge part of my childhood.
They may be gone but their music will live forever
The first singer is George Harrison. He was in a little band called The Beatles.
I would make the argument that George was the most talented member of the beatles
He did mention in an interview once that he was in another band before the wilburys. Not sure if he remembered the name.
His previous Band was showing signs of promise and potential. Shame they split up as they might have made it Stevie..
Funnily enough, I knew someone once with your name. Small World. It was about 2003...
@@Isleofskye I often drink a whisky with your name!
A tiny wee world.
Jeff Martin yeah I remember that little band. They used to produce music..that kind of needed their own shelf on your CD collection.
George Harrison lead singer and guitar; Jeff Lynne with the beard and big hair; Roy Orbison with the sunglasses; Tom Petty with the hat and Bob Dylan with the lived in face, who was probably on harmonica - they are an incredible group so check out more songs.
They are a Super Group All Legends.
Every member of this band is an absolute legend!
The other legends have said that when Roy is singing, we should just all quit singing. They knew they couldn't match his beautiful voice.
Elvis rated Roy as the best singer in the world
... and they had a problem as his voice was so strong he drowned the others out
Steve Bryant yeah Roy apparently had a range that was difficult to match.
A magical voice.
I could NOT have said it better!
George Harrison starts song then Roy , Tom Petty is in the hat Jeff Lynn curly hair and sun glasses then Bob Dylan with curly hair
A band full of legends . Together having fun. Out standing
Roys voice is like silk, and heaven took notice when he sang
And as I post on every review of this song, the legendary Jim Keltner on drums
Absolutely!
Edward Allen Great drummer!
He was on so many great group's albums.
Not as much a household name as the others, but every bit as much a pro and one of the best.
More Wilburys!!!!!!!
No egos, just mate jamming and making awesome music...love it
The combined talent in that band qualifies as a rift in the time space dimension.
Traveling Wilburys-End of the Line is a great song!!!
Check out their other big hit called End of the Line.
I was just going to say that
Me too... its my favourite.
5.38am in the UK and I'm lay listening to this
The empty chair for Roy always kills me.
Yes end of the line absolutely!
They really were a super group. Jeff Lynne from ELO are you kidding me. 🔥🔥🔥 Fire
Dylan is playing the harmonica:)
JayVeeTV, This is what happens when a Beatle call's you up just to play some music and see what happens. I doubt someone like Bob Dylan would rush over for anyone else. Cheers, Chris Perry.
The drummer is Jim Keltner, a highly respected colleague.
Thanks for naming him as I never knew who he was.
George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty
Such great singers all in one.
Elvis once said that Roy Orbison was his favourite singer!
You're right. Roy Orbison has a sweet lovely voice
END OF THE LINE :) ROY HAD PASSED ON, TOM PETTY DOES MOST OF THE LEAD SINGING IN IT, IT'S AWESOME JAY!
Don't forget they left an empty chair for Roy when they recorded the video.
It's George Harrison who sings most lead on End of the Line, then Petty.
@@bobwoolerOriGinal and Roy sings a verse too.
Rest In Peace three Wilburys true.
Thiss!!! And they were all mega stars who weren't dicks when they came together
@@nikpik216 ..Roy Orbison is one of the most humble music stars I can think of.
5 legends together. Love this song, so pleased you like it too. Listen to some more of their tracks.
This is my absolute favourite by this band, followed by the End of the Line. End of the Line always makes me cry because there's just an empty chair with a guitar on it where Roy should be during his part :.(
I think I like watching you listening to these great songs😂
You enjoy the music so much
Powerhouse of talent. Brings tears.
Thank you for a great reaction! You are so right Roy IS the man!
love them..the band of legends
George Harrison playing that guitar solo at the end is why every 12 yr old kid picks up a guitar. He looks so cool playing that jam.
Roy was probably the oldest, yet has a silky voice.
No shit. He had that voice when he was younger.
Roy had a 9 octave range...RIP,Roy.
Dude didn't age either... Looks the same here as he did in the 60s.
@Cynthia I would call Roy's voice as "Angelic" !
Imapeach1 Roy Orbison’s vocal range was often accepted as being three octaves, though some suggest it reached four to five. What made Roy’s voice so unforgettable was it’s power, it’s pureness, and it’s emotion.
Dude, a Band that compromises of some of literally the worlds greatest musicians. They formed when I was finishing high school.
After The Beatles Travelling Wilbury’s are my favourite band of all time! each member of the band are legendary musicians that will never be forgotten, such an incredible band!!!😃👍☮️❤️
Yes they all are very successful musicians. And got together as a super group. With big sounds. Sounds naturally beautiful ❤️
Legendary is this group, literally!
All legends. Fine song.
I’m so glad you found the traveling Wilburys. They have a lot of great songs. I’m glad you liked it thank you for sharing.❤️😃👍🌼✌️Love and peace
I'm gonna guess the harmonica was Bob Dylan
Tom Petty played the harmonica frequently.
Bob Dylan is my guess too. He played in a lot of his songs.
I'm sure everyone in the band could play harmonica, but it WOULD be crazy to need harmonica in a song and NOT have Dylan do it.
This band is great such talent having fun
Always loved this band ... ❤❤❤ Missed. Peace.
Some of the best of the best. Living their lives and having a good time. Love it.
I love Roy's voice too, sounds like he has heartbreak.
Love love love! the traveling Wilbury's. Incredible talent team🧡
Besides being the greatest super group of all time, their music just makes you feel good.
literally my favorite song ever
So glad you’re covering them!
Love these Legends! They make everything seem ok!

Yes! Super group & yes, Roy IS the MAN!! RIP Angel voice~ :)
Roy’s range was amazing. One of the most distinctive voices in music.
Greatest supergroup of all time.
Lots of talent there! Great song Good lyrics good music! Thank you for sharing!
OMG you finally got to this greatness classic. Thank you made my day. Enjoy.
Oh Thank you so very much, I was going to request them two days ago - wishes granted! This is a Dream Team!
This group is rock and roll royalty !
A true 'Super Group' with FIVE Legendary Super Stars.
Don't forget George, yes that is George on guitar!

You should check out End of the Line...as Roy Orbison passed just after recording it, there is a beautiful tribute to him in that video.
Brings tears to my eyes and heart. Thank you
This is a fantastic song. So many great voices on the one track. We definitely were blessed with this one.
I love your reaction to Mr. Orbison’s voice! I feel the same. ✌️
Jay you starting to sing now to its great. This was a super group so much talent in one place. Again another great choice. 😊💖
This the only super group in the world 🌎amazing 👏😍.
THANK YOU,,,,,,,

Why does everybody and I mean everybody forget to mention the great Jim Keitner on Drums.

Yes it is. Look at what else they could've done. I'm hoping they find some lost stuff thats never been heard.
Imagine how many albums these people represent. They all are hall of fame individually. Then put them together?
So very many legends in the video. I think they are a bit overshadowed by Roy's incredible voice!
3:17 of Pure Bliss. And agreed about Roy’s voice.
A love so beautiful please take time for it. Roy Orbison.
