Seeing your videos couldn't be more timely as I'm evaluating electric pressure washers and foam cannons to use on my 1970 Chevelle. Yours are some of the most detailed and well done, well articulated and in-depth reviews of any product line I've seen on RUclips. Extremely helpful. Based on all of the ones I've looked at that you've done, I think I'm going with this one. Yes, I don't like the lack of motor stop technology and the resulting noise, but all of the other features and benefits far outweigh that slight annoyance and as you said, with a 50' hose option, I won't be that close to it anyway, and for that matter, I can pu it in the garage while using it, close the door without clamping the hoses, and piece of cake. I love my little Greenworks 2,000 psi/1.8gpm PW, they made my a believer in their brand. This looks like a nice upgrade, but I think I'll stick with my current machine until they get these a little closer to gas powered. It would be nice to use the 2,000 psi unit I have for around the house stuff, and something with 3,000 psi or more for stubborn stuff on the driveway. It's too bad the amperage draw is too high to allow high PSI and high GPM, seems like we're stuck favoring one or the other. Thank goodness for the wide tip variety out there, the different orifice sizes really do make a big difference.

For larger areas like the decks and patios, I think I will be looking into a surface cleaner attachment to speed up the job, or at least make it a little easier. Hose and sprayer connections are tool-less, tight, and quick. I used the yellow nozzle on the concrete/brick surfaces, and the pressure was adequate for cleaning those surfaces.I am disappointed that these units are still being shipped with a nozzle storage holder that allows them to vibrate out of the holder way too easily and become lost, but I don't want to knock off a star for that reason. The functional part of the washer works very well, so I would recommend this product.
@@imjoshv ugh. lol i prolly use it 30 times a yr. but i don’t want to buy another one in two or three yrs. i hate that which is why i won’t buy ryobi power tools lol
Same.... I want to listen to my music or have a conversation without having to talk over a motor running. Greenworks to me has failed yet again to gain my business. All I want is an affordable induction motor with TSS and 1.8-2.0 gpm out of the box without modification. Right now I'm using a super cheap 2000psi 1.6gpm Ironmax pressure washer (the x shaped model) thats induction with tss but has a lower gpm but it's been running excellent for two years. I paid a little over $100 for it and I've been happy with it.
When they reached out to me, we spoke and they seemed very interested about total stop and I wouldn’t be surprised if they release something soon. However, I will still note that with the performance this gets, it’s much closer to a gas unit and this one is significantly quieter than a gas unit. But I totally get the total stop. I do love that feature
@@imjoshv I would also like to see one of these companies put in a adjustable pressure regulator like the gas ones do. Sometimes you might want to dial up the pressure to do some heavy duty cleaning around the house and then sometimes you want to dial it back to wash your car.
Yea im excited for that one. This one and the pther greenworks pros are probably a better solution for all around use including the house because of the way it works with the different tips. But the compact active 2.0 looks amazing especially for detailing cars
Very disappointed. As an Engineer, I was very cautious with researching prior to purchasing - this one seemed to be the one. Purchased one of these and it arrived in 3 days. It is missing the handle, missing the turbo nozzle, missing the knobs to attach the handle, missing the rubber foot on the bottom for when it's stood up and this is scratched badly, missing the stickers on the nozzle storage bracket. This is terrible for a pressure washer that's this expensive and it's not even a gas unit. It looks like it was either returned or just shipped out without any quality control. Terrible.
@@CC_Marauder Said they would send replacement. Switched their minds and just refunded. Most likely because they moved it to their commercial website and raised the price. I got it on sale for $490 directly on their site, and now it's moved to their commercial website for $770. Pretty disappointed they wouldn't honor replacing it like they said.
this is infuriating. they make a less well built 3000 psi pressure washer and why does this need to run all the time. this is just begging to make the customer wait for a better version
The 3000 is still well built and with it running all the time would you rather wait for the pressure when pulling the trigger or get almost immediate pressure?
This thing is terrible for the home DIY. No stop start. No point in even considering it then. 700. Lmao. What a joke. Get better one for way less then that. This should have been a warning video.
Damn it! I believe I finally find a power washer that I want, on sale for a price I would be more than content to pay, and now it is no longer on sale. I probably just missed the sale, considering this video was uploaded only ten days prior to my post here, and GreenWorks likely had it on sale for a week. Just my luck!!! I'm not paying $699 for that unit. . . . $524, yes, but $699 nope! I guess it is back to the hurry-up-and-wait mode. It took me three months to find this unit, and barely miss the sale. Will it be another three months, or four months until I find an adequate model, that I feel I could be satisfied with owning without any buyer's remorse, and then what? Do I miss the next sale by half a day??? Maybe if I consume enough libations, I could relief myself outside, and use the power of urination to clean all!!!!

@@imjoshv ty so u rec the 2500 vs the 3000 one based on these diffs?
@@rikkitikki1256 not necessarily. If you aren’t using it everyday and don’t need a 1000 pump I’d save the money and go with the cheaper option.
@@imjoshv ugh. lol i prolly use it 30 times a yr. but i don’t want to buy another one in two or three yrs. i hate that which is why i won’t buy ryobi power tools lol
Not being a total stop is a deal breaker for me.
There's literally nothing wrong with pressing the off button.
@@thomasscargle5526 That's your opinion!
Sucks it doesn’t have start/stop
Please link me to your site
What does increasing GPM do? Why would you want less psi washing a car? Using a foam cannon using a 1.1 orifice it everything remains the same!
Gpm is moving more mass over surface area vs psi on focused small area. Similar to sponge vs jack hammer.
What about those of us that still have gas pressure washers
I will use my gas pressure washer till death do us part
you have plenty pf psi and gpm for sure haha! Just a bit loud and have to deal with gas and oil, but a gas pressure washer is never a bad choice
This is another comment for the giveaway 😭😭😭💯💯
Won’t consider it with no total stop. Also too loud for me
I'll still take the craftsman 2100.
...straight to the trash in short order.
first!!
nice!
What happened to the reining champ, First from Puerto Rico?? Haha
And what?
🥠
Nah....I'll stick with getting an Active 2.0.
Yea im excited for that one. This one and the pther greenworks pros are probably a better solution for all around use including the house because of the way it works with the different tips. But the compact active 2.0 looks amazing especially for detailing cars
I heard you can’t use 1.1 orrifice with the Active 2.0 because it’ll trip the power
Terrible.
Oh man that’s a bummer. Where do you order it from?
@@imjoshv Directly from Greenworks. I was excited for it but not anymore. Calling them today to discuss.
Resolution?
@@CC_Marauder Said they would send replacement. Switched their minds and just refunded. Most likely because they moved it to their commercial website and raised the price. I got it on sale for $490 directly on their site, and now it's moved to their commercial website for $770. Pretty disappointed they wouldn't honor replacing it like they said.
Duly noted
700 dollars? No way in this economy.
ok then buy a ryobi now then another a couple yrs later
this is infuriating. they make a less well built 3000 psi pressure washer and why does this need to run all the time. this is just begging to make the customer wait for a better version
2300 on sale at Lowe’s for $249 and 3000 for $349. I agree with you
Would you recommend the greenworks over the Bauer or Ryobi or the Sun Joe which one do you think is the best ?thanks !!
