An overall black finish is always difficult to keep it looking interesting but you have done it on this miniature. It looks great and I can see the variations in hues of the black. Thanks for sharing this.
I've just painted up a few of these models, and I've got more on the printer right now. I am loving Helldivers 2 right now!!! :D you did great here 💪 well done!
Another fantastic tutorial. I’m not familiar with this game or the miniatures. But the paint job on this is amazing. I love your knowledge of the different paint manufacturers and the colours and washes you use to achieve the desired effect. Absolutely bang on.
Very good looking, normally an All Black (Sorry for the pun!) mini would look dull, but with the right paints & highlights these are really striking. Someone should try to catch the licence to make them in a plastic sprue!😀👍
Them being bigger is actual lore accurate, all helldivers are atleast 7ft tall, thats one of their recruitment slogan so I bet divers get enhancement before becoming a bonafide diver, something akin to spartan 3's
I don't, really. Acrylics and washes are faster, in my opinion, but that's down in a large part to how I paint. Oil washes *can* be quicker, but there's cure times and such to factor in as well. I've never found much use for them, though others will disagree; it's all down to prefernce.
Similar, possibly. You're not going to get as pronounced a white edge on some things, but there's nothing stopping you from doing it that way if you prefer.
The taste of Liber-Tea has never been sweeter!

Wish we stayed with premium edition boxed games, this fella would be neat bonus.
That looks awesome, I wish I knew this technique & the paints were available when I painted my Shinobi Ravens
Tell me about it! Some of these paints would have made an old Mordian army of mine a cinch! 😅

All you need to know about the game is that you'll bring democracy and liberty to other planets. 😅

"I will not literally turn to steel"! LOL

What do you think about oil washes ? For speed

FOR LIBERTY!!!
For the cape and boots, did you drybrush Gulfag and Tyrant Skull on them as well to match the scenery, or did you use something else for that effect?
Yup! Just be a bit rough with it while you're basing and it's almost inevitable. 😂
Another awesome video! 👌 What tufts have you used there?
These ones aren't actually manufactured any more, unfortunately! But the closest you'll find these days would be the mountain tufts from Army Painter.
Where'd you get this miniature? I'd love to buy one.
great video! is it possible to get a similar result with a zenithal prime?
Similar, possibly. You're not going to get as pronounced a white edge on some things, but there's nothing stopping you from doing it that way if you prefer.
@@SonicSledgehammerStudio thanks for responding,i think i might do that so I don't have to buy more paints for the drybrush
FOR DEMOCRACY!
Did you have a video on an alternate universe confederate soldier or have I gone mad? Cant find it..
There was one. RUclips probably threw a shitfit over it, as they always do.
Ah oh.. why do ya reckon that is? Its not politically correct enough?@@wolfehoffmann2697
I haven’t played the video game is it good or hype train ?
It's a crazy hype train, tell you what.
I'm not the person to ask - only played the original, and it's totally different to the second.
I'm having a lot of fun with the game. Try it out. 🤙🏻
Super first.
...and last one out? Like a prim and proper Diver.
