Used this pellet feeder today and I can honestly say it is the best feeder I have ever used. I fished Alders fishery near Leighton buzzard and caught 32 carp and 2 bream, the best days fishing I have ever had. Not once on retrieval was there any pellets left in the feeder. Alan needs a knighthood for services to fishing.
I only ever fish the method and love bagging up season after season, you guys at drennon have kept me out of trouble for yrs , if I wasn't fishing I'd be on drugs and probably in prison, so from the bottom of my heart thank you 🇬🇧 ✊🏼
I should imagine that because this feeder is technically open at both ends it will also produce less drag when playing a fish. In doing so hook holds should be stronger and less prone to loosen because of the minimising of water drag on the feeder whilst playing a fish. This looks like a mammoth step forward in the method feeder department. I will be seeking them out as soon a I can. Well done, Alan. And thanks for sharing.
Switched to these feeders last week got to say they are a Game changer absolutely brilliant design from Alan i will never use a mould again these feeders are so quick to use brought my method feeder fishing on a treat fantastic product from Drennan 10/10
After watching this video, I went out, and bought 4 of these in mini 15g small 25g large 35g and XL 45g. I must say, these are fabulous quality, the best I have seen. But then you would expect that from Drennan. Well constructed, the concept is far superior to anything else, tough and made to last. 100% impressed. I will be buying the other four sizes and weights to make the complete set of eight, to cover every possible situation and range. All my old feeders can now be binned. There are no better feeders on the market I believe. These pellet method feeders from drennan, put all other makes to shame.
An absolutely brilliant concept Alan. So simple, but I can clearly see the benefits and understand the machanics of this truly amazing feeder. Definitely going to give these a try. I know you said that a mould is not required, but are there any plans for Drennan to produce a mould, for perhaps anglers, who have always, and prefer to use moulds, to load method feeders more confidently.?
Hi there, looking forward to buying and using these feeders! Just a quick question, I know you don't need a mould but is there one available that could be used for these feeders as I'd prefer to use one if possible?
Looks very interesting concept if Alan has had a hand in the design it will work brilliantly but it seems to me it’s not on an interchangeable stem ? If that’s right Drennan have missed a trick with it.
Bought some and the only thing is they aren't quick change . you have to break down. to swap for a different size. Otherwise brilliant idea . They will make all my other pellet feeders redundant.
When are Drennan going to develop seat boxes, pole rollers, etc to compete with the other well known manufacturers as you are missing out on a lot of potential business. I have an Acolyte Pro pole which is amazing but would like to see some one piece shallow f1 kits
I might be wrong, but I think they are connected with Rive in Germany. And they make seat boxes, so probably something to do with that. I did say I might be wrong! Tight lines
I bought two recently. Tried them today, sorry to say, useless! I took time to prepare pellets properly, loaded it just as Alan says, but pellets stay in feeder ( not every time but they do stick inside) I shall stick to the I C S
@@ryanogden5895 But they do. They allow catfish and sturgeon to be stocked into lakes providing there no chance of them getting into the river system. Hence there are kois and orfe also in some lakes. Sadly, some people have illegally introduced catfish into our rivers and they are now becomming a big problem. As an EA Fishery Manager once said to me, "If all you want to catch is 20+lbs carp and catfish, stock catfish. The others they'll eat."
@@WolfmanWoody i hear what you say about illegally stocked fish what does happen sadly but into commercial fisherys like hayfield and other big named venues is mainly unlikely due to strict stocking rules plus if they are caught they may be shut down and fined, its not worth there while. I think some people see a crusian hybrid n jump to a forign fish

Been waiting to see this, clocked you using the feeder on one of your videos. Will be giving them a go asap 👍

I only fish with these ones, threw out my other brand method feeders. I catch more than any other fisher at my local commercial.
Nice Alan . The pegs inside . Superb idea . Thanks Alan .

Would love to see this with an x safe elastic boom.
It would be good if the feeder frame could be removed at the end of the day when storing your rod
Great!!! Thank You so much for the excellent video, Sir Alan!!! I wish You Victories!!!
Seems like a magical item, can’t wait to get one and try it out
Won our first evening match last night.. brilliant feeders.. 👏
look really good, great design have to get some

what a brilliant idea, thank you Alan,👍👍
I like this very much! Quite clever thinking!
IMPRESSIVE ALAN.
That’s why you are so good because you think what you are doing
These look excellent Alan. I can’t wait to get some. Great design.
Genuine question, when would you us these new feeders over the Method bombs range?
I did that to my method feeder years ago. I just cut the three ribs leaving pegs. Job done

When are these going to be available ?
In shops now :)
Aktualnie najlepszy koszyk jaki powstał, dociera z pełną zanętą nawet na dużych głębokościach. Jego łowność jest niesamowita
Need some elasic stems to match em very good
when are they in the tackle shops...?

The goat 🐐
I want some !

when available in Belgium?
In shops now :)
Smart stuff! I only buy drennan stuff it's fantastic
The shot gun feeder used to work good. clear and put bait in front
Line inside the feeder need to be able to move free so fishing when biting doesn't have to drag the feeder over the bottom
Exact same as Preston ones really but I’ll still buy one 😂
Which preston ones are v shaped?
The Preston ones are not open ended .
Nice innovation. Way ahead of other brands
Can anybody that uses these please explain what knot the use to attach the mainline and hooklength to the small plastic bead?
Just make a loop
Nice idea but I'm sticking with guru x safe
Lets try then.
Like it.
Anyone else find they go in a bit noisy?
Sod it! Just gone and stocked up on other feeders. Sorry Drennan.

Crap without an elasticated stem option

So now I have to chuck all my Drennan rail feeders and feeder bombs (?) away and buy a fresh lot? Great marketing, but I don't think so.
Carrasio? Just call them crusians does me head in .crusians simple stop trying to be clever .
Because they're not pure English crucians. They wouldn't qualify for the crucian record if you caught one.
@@WolfmanWoody i dont think the enviroment agency would allow forign fish in so call em crusians
Well said pal
