I use 4mm in a large pellet feeder with a 6mm chocolate orange wafter or 8mm Robin red pellet , deadly when fishing tight to an island get loads of liners followed by my rod ripping of the rod rest, and have used it to great effect in open water up to 15ft deep,
In the day we wetted down pedigree chum dog buscuit the night before, and they became little spongy balls perfect for floater fish, or squeezed out to fish on the deck
Quick question how far do you think you can cast as a venue I fish regularly we have to chuck 60 to 70m to an island... Would they stay on at this distance or is it a little chuck method?
I cannot get a bite on 4mm hard pellets from January to March. I caught Carp by dobbing bread, dead red maggot or corn skin. Corn on the deck caught Carp and F1's but hard pellet caught nothing. Thoughts on that please? I live near Thirsk by the way, up north 👌
Love it andy let jamie sort new methord tactic then copy it 🤣 (gu on lad) Do you think the pva methord would work the same ? as you said the carp love the hard pellets
Same as anything, some days one may be better than the other. With PVA obviously it comes with its own issues, more expensive, fiddly in the rain and is banned on some venues. So this is probably an easier option once you have the pellets sorted.
Coppen is the brand, if you ask at most tackle shops or fisheries they will generally have Coppen Or Skrettings pellets. We did a video about identifying them a few weeks ago
That's why Jamie is on top of him game
Pushing method's all the while
Keep it up top man

Been waiting for someone to do A video on how to do this for ages, been struggling with it! Cheers guys!
good stuff there Jamie, thank you,
I like to mix 2mm and 4mm pellets on the hybrid method because I find I get quicker bites. I find a 1:2 ratio works best for me
So would you use them on the pole instead of 2m? These look great.
Do we all GO FISHING because of the late Great John Wilson?
We most certainly do!! 🐟 🎣 "what a clonker"

Which of the sonubaits pellets would you suggest for this?
You just want bog standard coppens for this 👍🏻
@@WinningWays is there a brand you'd recommend?

Peter Griffin goes fishing 😅
Also known as The Stuart Fotheringham method?
As we said not sure who the originator was but Stu has certainly done well on it in recent years 👍🏻
@@WinningWays Tbf, he does talk about in his Guru podcast too
ive been mixing them all year just because lol
I thought it was 2mms 2 minutes, 4mm’s 4 minutes, I fish a lot of places where it’s fishery only pellets so I’m gonna try soaking them for 12 minutes
At 8 mins for the feeder loading demonstration… is that a guru hybrid feeder?
Matrix Alloy Open Feeder.
@@WinningWays thank you 👍🏻
Hot fishing is bit confusing tbh
