- Dan heads to physical therapy for his shoulder then it's time for Damek's speech therapy and they're running late! Dan gets a migraine while he and Hudsyn wait in the van so fortunately they have a place to rest. As they return home Hudsyn gets upset until she's able to calm down in her favorite chair. Later Damek is headed to his first sleepover for a friend's birthday and Fortnite is the theme so Damek gets prepared in his new Fortnite costume!

Migraines...damm, i have them too. Lots of headaches and about 2 a month a migraine... not fun at all.
Hope Damek has al lot of fun at the sleepover. Always feel bad when i see Hudsyn cry... she is do sweet.
I just went to the ER last night for a severe migraine, my 4th incident this year.. I was diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraine Syndrome.. it mimicks strokes which I've had two of in life and two heart attacks.. I feel for you Ms. Hudsyn!! 💜
Definitely get how you feel! I also have hemiplegic migraines! They are scary as like you said they mimic a stroke! The first time I had one my mum called an ambulance as she thought I’d had an actual stroke
I had physical and occupational therapy in my formative years because i was born with low muscle tone! It was successful because now I'm pretty much independent! I do have a stutter but that's about it.

I suffer migraines every now and then at the moment, brought on by stress.
I'm also still raising my little boy- he's 17 months on 2 October.
I apologise if I missed any other vlogs as I've been very busy.

I get bad migraine, especially after my second stroke, and it stinks because I never know when they are coming on.. I hope Hudsyn gets better and has less migraine.

I get migraines with aura. Sometimes I just get the aura with no migraine. Sometimes I get a migraine after the aura subsides.

I am a migraine suffer as well and they hit out of no where. After having covid19 my migraines are worse and now I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia . I do love watching your vlogs and love watching your kudos !

I have had migraines since I was seven and it is because of my dysautonomia/POTS. If you don’t know what POTS stands for, it stands for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. It’s the most common form of dysautonomia, and it’s more common in females, and it does not care how old we are sadly.

Ocular migraines. I have had a few of them. Freaked me out the first time. Thought I was having a stroke. SOmetimes I end up with an actual migraine after it. Glad it didn't last long for you. Sleeping helps mine too.

I've had Migraine's since I was 13 years old. I always get the Aura and I was always sick to my stomach with it until I was in my late 20's. When I was in my late 30's a new symptom came up. Half of my face and my hand and arm on the same side would tingle and then become numb. It was scary. I haven't had a Migraine in several years tho thankfully.

Unfortunately, a few too many people have had the unfortunate experience of being within sudden and unexpected vomit range and have given those people an unwanted bath. Because vomiting is apparently my body's way of telling me that a migraine is going to get worse (which they do).....
Mine too. I get the eyeball that feels like it's being squeezed. Then lights and sound become so loud I can't think. Then I get nauseous and I know I am really in trouble.
I am on maxalt 10 mil dissolvable tabs and now I catch it at eye squeeze and there gone once I take 1.

I absolutely love your vlogs and your family! The kids are getting so big! Damek is such a young man now and Hudyson is cute as ever! I’m so sorry you had to deal with a migraine. I suffer from those and they are horrible.
You know we all get older and we all lose muscle mass when we get older. And Hudson isn’t going to get any smaller and you can’t keep lifting her out of bed and stuff I just hope that there’s a way where things can be done that make it easier on you so your joints in your body don’t break down you know but I definitely am sending good vibes on your shoulder I know you did take that fall outside ..feel better

migraines do suck feel better
I have the same kind of migraines as you do. I had one at work during the summer it really was a pain I work with children and it was hard because I couldn't see right out of my left eye. it finally went away. I had head ache along with it. I couldn't lay down and close my eyes. The squiggly lines and the half circles are a pain.

I know how migraines feel when I had one I cried my head hurt like hell after I took some medicine and went to sleep then the next morning I was much better than the night of the migraine.

migraines are the worst.
The blind spots and geometrical designs that appear before the headache is called an aura. For me it's my warning that I'm about to have a headache. A nurse told me to take two tylenol and two ibuprofen along with a little caffiene. That seems to nip it in the bud.

Probably because migraines are painful and often disorienting, which can be scary for a child

Why was dameak sitting in the front seat it’s not safe to let kids his age sit in the front seat for safety reasons including the airbag going off if a accident were to happen
The Kansas Child Passenger Safety Act was amended during the 2006 Legislative Session to require children ages 4, 5, 6, and 7 are required to ride in a booster seat unless:
The child weighs more than 80 pounds
The child is taller than 4 feet 9 inches
Only a lap belt is available.
Back seat is recommended, but not required, as not all vehicles have a rear passenger seat. Eg; pickup trucks, some sports cars.

Being someone who works with children in special ed in with students who are medically fragile the fact is they just need a little extra love. Part of the reason I like todo inclusion is so that my that my student can meet new friends and see the ones before
Dan, I'm sure you probably already know this but in case you don't . . . that kind of migraine is called a "retinal" migraine.
I get them about twice a year as well.
If I take an Extra Strength Advil ( 400 mg ) as soon as I become aware of those "ripples" in my vision, they resolve quite quickly.
A lot of people report that retinal migraines are usually followed by PAIN but that has never been my experience.
They're completely painless for me . . . just REALLY disconcerting when my vision gets so messed up.

Yeah, no pain for me so I don’t mess with taking a med. not a fan of pain pills unless my pain is unbearable. Lol! Laying down and closing my eyes for 20 minutes always seems to work fortunately. 😉
