Galant VR4 fuel tank replacement Part 1

The fuel tank replacement will be a 2 Part series.
In this video we finally remove the original fuel tank that has internal rust issues most likely when the filler hose developed a crack at some point and caused moisture intrusion.
Removing the tank also allowed me to observe how much I would have to prep and clean the area where the fuel tank sits.

That second tank is nice! My tank crumbled beyond repair. Sourcing these are few and far between not at dealer cost.

I was fortunate my best friend came through finding me one. I am going to see if my old one can be rebuilt. I found a place that specializes in fuel tank restoration..so I will be in tough with them in the future.

@@anarchyamp I have been making small progress but it's looking like I should have the GVR4 running in a few months. My next update video on the GVR4 will be in a couple months.
