Such a weird feeling for me when blood was rushing out his nose and looking at the hunters. Most of the time it doesn't bother me, and I've seen plenty of hunts...

@@BowmarBowhunting hey do you think you could make a video shooting the beast broadheads in ballistics gel to show that they won’t bend back on flesh the watermelon didn’t really show that

Even with all that super expensive and fancy equipment now a days that I for One will never be able to afford in 3 lifetimes… even still we have to put 3 arrows in something like this… I mean imagine taking down a Beast of an animal like that with ancient hand made bow and arrow technology. When your life depended on that animal for food n survival.
With all the kids going hungry and having no winter clothes and you can go spend $25-35,000 dollars for some thing to hang on your wall!!!!!!!!!!! What a fantastic, caring human you really are!!!!!!
Are you using a 2.0 or 2.3 BEAST? With a 90lb bow I would figure you would get enough penetration from a 2.3, and would get the added wound channel, but it’s a buff so maybe still want a 2.0? I’m looking at beast for elk hunting this year but don’t know whether I should get a 2.0 or 2.3. Suggestions?
big question about your equipment! what boots do you like to run most. since you do a lot of different hunting and a lot of walking? love the videos all support from Quebec, canada!
I'm almost positive that the 2nd shot but 1st one from the blind that Josh said was perfect and a pass threw, went all the way inside the cavity but never exited, the buffalo is wider than his arrow. It put a hurting on him but if it were a heart or top of heart and low lungs why did it not have blood coming out like the follow up 2.3 did instantly? I'm thinking maybe that the head didn't open all the way and only put a small hole? There was no exit hole any where around where the second follow up was sticking out? I'm just curious, I have 6 beasts for this upcoming season. Thanks and great video.
You’re right. From my angle I thought it passed through, but it actually went through 1 lung and into his stomach, he was quartering in more than I thought. So yes you were right about there not being an exist. But the Broadhead fully opened you can see the huge hole when it goes in. to the point you can see the nock inside the cavity. 👍🏼
One thing I can say is the blades are stupid sharpe I wish sevr would get sharp blades like that I mean there sharp but I do think that the blades on beast are sharper I think but I love my sevr I may try few beast on doe maybe I hate mixing up heads tho
These animals are very very protective of each other. They will even protect the dead body from scavengers until they all know that they’re not going to get back up. They’ll fight and die for one another. They are living breathing tanks on legs. They didn’t get the name “Black Death” by running away. You piss one off and the rest are going to back it up
I love hunting but some of this is hard to watch even in my real life after killing one that you've been on for a couple years it's a bittersweet thing
@BowmarBowhunting Alright, was wondering because most arrow builds and configuration lean more towards 700 grains minimum for good penetration on thick hide. Also, wouldn't heavier weight arrow allow for a higher FOC, which helps with penetration and bone breaking ability right? Looking to learn more from individual like yourself, thanks for your time and videos!
No one brings up the point that it was a pathic shot, first rule know your back stop... It was a pass through and right into the other buffalos neck, study the video, and notice they cut the slow motion off so you don't see it, but can clearly figure it out and notice it kicking 🙄🤦
So whynot leave the old guy to live out his life naturally. If he falls as prey to lions then that is the nature of things. The old guy managed a good life so why end it so brutally?
I wish me and Josh could have been dudes in high school got me in the weight room early and teaching me how to stalk through the woods my life would be a lot different
I would not say it is pleaent seeing his life drain through his nose , and he struggle to stay stood . I consider bow hunting cruel . I watch for education .
Lions always go for their nuts first. You can see the bugged look in their eyes when they start pulling and biting on them. Hard to watch because I know there is nothing on earth that can describe that pain level. The appendages always go first. Anything soft that sticks out, is gone.
Full respect to the bull! Respect for the true conservation of a creature of majesty facing starvation
What a tough and beautiful animal. Thanks for sharing your journey. Congrats to another amazing animal.

Holy smokes that must have been an intense experience to witness in person. Having that buffalo stare back at you with blood pouring from its nose

Jeesus! He just sent $90 worth of broadheads into that Beast! Definitely want to try these.

Really? Why?
Why do I want to try them or why did he send $90 into the beast?

the smaller cutting diameter the higher change of a pass through
I would never really bow hunt. That the animal suffers for so long does not seem right to me.
The broad heads are so sharp they don’t really notice what’s going one so they are kinda slowly dying without know it
What is the lowest poundage bow you can shoot to effectively use the beast broadhead?
Man that is sick I pulled back a 40 pound bow and I will look you two deer that’s crazy

There was nothing behind him. The camera angle must have been much different because it looked like the whole heard behind him

You missed that great Cape Buffalo one your first shot.
Hate to say it….. you hit the buffalo behind him in the neck side of head area. Can see it aligns and the bull was shaking its head when it ran away
I used to own a 114 pound darton viper shot a few groundhogs with it never got to kill a deer with it upgraded to a hoyt
