- Come decorate with me for Christmas our 12 foot tree! In this video I take you through my steps to decorate a fabulous full beautiful tree for the holidays. Every Christmas I decorate our main family Christmas tree in a different color theme. This year I am using white along with harvest colors to give it a warm and frosty look. We are maximalists and we love full and cozy. I start out showing you how I fluff out my tree to give it a more full look. I add two different size warm LED lights along with a strand of traditional lights. This year I decided to use 3 different ribbons on the tree which I feel gives it a luxious look. I then add pearl beads on the tree for elegance along with the crystal drop ornaments for that beautiful look I want to achieve. We have many loved and cherished ornaments that we have collected over many years. On this tree I always have pinecones which are traditional along with some other religious themed ornaments. Year ago, when my Grandma was still alive, we would go to her house and help her decorate her tree and put her village up - I looked forward to it every year. Good memories.

I can't believe it. I thought I was the only one who still had that tree. It is alot of work. And I mean alot of work, but the end result is so worth it. I've had my tree for 28 years now. Everyone still thinks it is a real tree. The whole room is lite with just the tree on. I'am crazy for a well lite tree I probably put over three thousand lights Absolutely beautiful Angela and Jeff. The tree is gorgeous, also love the opening scene of the snow covered village. I take a lot of time with my tree too. I have a lot of pretty ornaments collected when one daughter lived in England and the other in Germany. Christmas has always been magic to me but nostalgia hits me too. My Mom loved Christmas and made it fun, decorating our house and baking yummy things. Miss my folks so much.

As a man, I love decorating my Christmas tree by myself. I also do my parents tree since they feel they don't have to put one up since all the kids are out the house. It's therapeutic to me.

Beautiful! Fluffing the tree takes longer than decorating, depending on how big your tree is. I get mine fluffed, lights on, garland and ribbon added and then my daughter and granddaughter come help hang the ornaments. Our cat supervises, he loves the big tree!

Magnificent tree Jeff, bringing back memories as a child in NZ. We had a 10 foot fresh tree in the hallway which glittered and shone and filled the house with the beautiful smell of pine. Mum always decorated on Christmas Eve when we were in bed and asleep. I adored getting up, usually at 5 in the morning, lol, when my parent had probably only been in bed for an hour or two. We would sneak out of our room and be dazzled and enthralled by our beautiful tree and all the decorations on the sealing and mantle in the hall and living room. We could barely get past the tree to get out they were so big. All the gifts would be piled under the tree, it was so exciting. Thanks for the memories of traditions now passed as my kids have made their own traditions here in Australia where summer is Christmas and it’s about outdoors. They still have trees and decorations inside but not the same. Of course it also summer in NZ but not as hot in December as it is in Australia. 🎁❄️🎄🎄🤩🎁🎁

Bonjour mon ami. Your tree is absolutely gorgeous. The colors of the bubbles and all the decor are in those jewel tones so warm and rich. You said it so well : " if a person wishes to have a great looking tree, it does take time and effort" I would add to that it takes lots fluffing and to have a theme (plan) for it to become spectacular. Taking THE time to make it all nice, I always say to my friends : " you are creating a piece of art, take your time and each time you are going to look at it, you will be pleased. We are loaded, huh! 😂🤣 glad to see that you say silly things too and I’m not alone. Your tree is gorgeous. Years ago I was enamored with the old silver and plastic light covers and they were easy to find at thrift stores. I would spend hours putting these on the tree, taking each light out to put the cover on it and spacing them nicely. So much work but you do it for the one’s you love. 👍💕

It’s beautiful. The color scheme is incredible. Plus I learned again. 🎄 I agree. Decorating is a joy and fun. It puts you into the Christmas joy. It’s for you and family 🎄 it is my favorite time of the year. I already wrapped 98% of my gifts. Just two more to wrap. That’s just how it is. My tree has been up. My grandparents on both sides ...had 8 children each ...they were farmers and builders and knew how to work and succeed ...even the woman ! I love Christmas. My mama loved Christmas. She was a Christmas baby. Going to try the snow on one of my trees. I really liked that. Everything beginning to look like Christmas. I know you don’t need these but wanted to share anyway, I got some beautiful nutcrackers at Home Depot. 2 in a box for 49.99. They were 3 1/2 feet tall. They looked so pretty on my hearth. That tree so beauiful and the colors brings out the room I dont use big words but there all there and I can say you did a great job doing it and you do have patience,,and that purple and red and gold are beautiful it's be beautiful as you go to bed at night and beautiful as you wake up each morning and still look beautiful, God bless you,Angela and family.and I say again those stairs are beautiful all the way down .man you made that tree so beauiful and it makes me think alot but it stay inside,but do me a favor this Christmas will you and your family touch elbow to elbow for me.and that's so true what you saying but you know people dont think about Jesus dieing only had to do that once in a life time.
