The backstory to this performance is pretty dramatic. Not long before this took place, the sisters had made the decision to give up on their dream of making it in the music industry, after nearly fourteen years of trying (at the time). Then a fan told them about the upcoming X Factor UK auditions, and their mom convinced them to give it one last try. When they walked onstage for their audition, it was with the knowledge that if it didn't go well, their career was over. Instead, they got that thunderous standing ovation from the judges and the audience, and everything changed for them. Their X Factor journey brought them to the attention of millions of people around the world and made it possible for them to finally support themselves and their family as performers. To this day, whenever they're about to perform "Bang Bang" live, they introduce it as, "The song that changed our lives."

Great reaction. I'll add a comment even though I'm only half bald. This audition was the turning point for 4th Impact. They had been struggling for years in the Philippines but not making much money. Their family was poor and it was looking like they weren't ever going to make enough money to help out, so they were seriously considering giving up on their music dreams and get regular jobs. All 4 have attended college. A fan suggested they submit an audition tape to the X Factor UK and their mother encouraged them to give it one more try. The show invited them to come to the live auditions, so they borrowed money to get to London. If they had failed, that probably would have been the end of 4th Impact. Fortunately, they smasged the audition and it went viral. They have had a large international fan base since then that has supported them and donate money during their frequent live streams. About their name, they arrived at the audition as MICA (from their initials) but were told they couldn't use that because there was already a British singer used that name (though with a different spelling). So in a few minutes, they came up with 4th Power. Then a few weeks into the show, it turned out that a Scandinavian band was already using 4th Power, so they changed to 4th Impact, which they have been using ever since.
Hello ladies, I had pretty much the exact same reaction when the singing started as you did, I was stunned! Having never heard this song before, (devote classic rocker) this was quite the introduction to 4th Impact! Upon hearing this I knew I had to learn more about these four Filipinas, so I listend to the rest of their performances of the X-Factor and was aptly astounded by all of them, they clearly were the real deal. SInce then I have come to find out that these ladies have taken a lot of songs created by other artists and made them better than the original. How are these ladies able do that?!?! Well it's because each one of these girls is a star, plain and simple. This is why you will see how the camera changes singer so often, they share the spotlight for every song. The sisters arrived in the UK with the band name MICA, their initials. They were informed by X Factor officials that the UK already had a singer named MIKA, and they had to change their name immediately. They chose 4th Power.
Just minutes before they were called onstage a member of the X Factor staff approached and told them that they would probably have better luck singing Bang Bang than the Disney song they had been rehearsing. Thank the Lord they took his advice!!
Before the live shows started it was found that a UK male band already had the name 4th Power and they again had to change their name. Henceforth we have our beloved 4th Impact!!!
They are extremely humble, God and Family come first with them. Their livestreams where their faith, never say die attitudes, and the kindness, love, and inspiration they exude shown like the sun, and was truly the light in the darkness of the pandemic for many Dreamers, myself included.
While the whole world was scared uncertain of the future, and losing hope we watched as God blessed the sisters over and over again as we witnessed miracle after countless miracle.
The sisters are the breadwinners of the family and had spent their savings producing their original song k(NO)w More that was released the day the pandemic and it's lockdowns were announced. They never were able to produce an accompanying video. Dispite this the song topped the charts in the Philippines for two weeks and is currently being played on some radio stations here in the US.
The family, Father, Mother, five sisters, and a brother was locked down in the tiny apartment they rented with no money and no way to earn any. They were literally going hungry. After a lot of discussion and many prayers they decided to try livestreaming hoping to earn enough to feed themselves. They didn't know just how many and how loyal the Dreamers were. They had never had a permanent address, always being renters. They went from going hungry to looking for a dream house for them and their family almost overnight it seemed. They built their own brand new studio and started doing their livestreams from there. They found their dream house but worried about qualifying for a mortgage loan. It is easier for a man to get a loan in the Philippines than a woman, and they were a singing group of four sisters with no work, no gigs, concerts, or appearances, and no idea when the lockdowns would end, so they prayed. The bank manager researching their qualifications dropped into their studio unannounced during one of their twice weekly livestreams. No one knew he was there except their family in the studio. He watched as they brought in well over $20k in less than 4 hours. I know for a fact that this, at the time, was a record amount and over 5 times the average. Needless to say, they got the loan!!!
They produced 3 digital concerts, produced 4 music videos, appeared in two of SB19'S digital concerts, signed ShowBT as a management company and Sony Music Entertainment as a record label, all during the pandemic lockdowns. These are just some highlights and a small sample of the incredible things we witness. It bolstered our faith knowing God, no matter how bad the situation, can turn anything
into blessings for his believers!!!

Fun reaction. I'm a Dreamer and 4th Impact evolved into incredible performers. They jus released their 5 song album Jan, 21, 2924, The songs are phenomenal "Distorted", "All At Once", "Round and Round", "Hate That Girl" and "February". My personal favorite is "All At Once" because of the vocals required to sing it and no one can do it except 4th Impact. Looking forward to your reaction to any or all of them. Thankd again.

Thank you. You are very entertaining! Simon gave them the advice to have fun while there on their X factor journey and they did. They have kept that I believe as their main goal while performing and it shows in their performances which are always fun to watch.
These ladies waited in line for 10 hours that day thinking they would sing their favorite, "Let It Go" from the movie Frozen. They were told by their handlers just 10 minutes before that they had a better chance to sing what you 3 just heard. And that made history! These ladies still introduce this song today as the one "that changed our lives"! It certainly changed mine and inspired so many of us dreamers (their fans) to try and impress upon the world that they represent not just incredible singing, but are generous, real and humble, the way that the world should be.
