Some of these rankings are just wrong. The man-at-legs and the water wraith are so much harder than the burrowing snagret. Two can wipe out your entire squad if you aren't careful and then other is a basically STATIONARY enemy when attacking.
Mostly I agree, but the Waterwraith is an odd one to rank. If you're just going by the boss battle itself, it's arguably one of the easiest bosses in the series, down there with the giant Breadbug. If you account for the entire dungeon... it's almost identical to the Ranging Bloyster, since they have nearly the same counterplay. Slightly higher because the potential for terrible positioning comes up. And then in a vacuum/romhack or randomizer sense, it's nearly identical to the Goolix. Pathetic, and nearly unable to harm you if you have the right Pikmin type, unstoppable menace if you don't yet.
How to squash a Goolix: Step 1: have some Blues target the pearl. Make sure they’re pinning it down. Step 2: lure the Goolix’s brain thing towards you and away from the pearl the Piks are pinning. See it stretch and listen for a stretching sound. Step 3: Bonk the Goolix’s brain for massive damage. Step 4: Whistle all the Pikmin that flew all over the place. Step 5: Repeat from Step 1 until Goolix is dead.
Yokai Watch is more serious and it’s for a different audience. Pikmin is the Animal Crossing crowd but Yokai Watch can be interesting to the FBI but less bloody and disgusting as Resident Evil.
The breadbug can absolutely kill Pikmin. My first blind play though as a kid, it killed like 25 of mine. If it wins the tug of war, all of the Pikmin tugging against it get pulled into the hole with it and die
Oof, I cannot agree with most of these rankings. Being a huge pikmin fan and veteran, I'd have ranked anything with the "crushing" attack much, much higher. That kind of attack is able to knock out your entire army if you make a single mistake while the pikmin are in a concentrated position. And... the man-at-legs being ranked that low? Ouch-
I agree with you about Man-at-legs being way too low its weaponry can kill any pikmin it hits & you can't just avoid its attacks requiring you to take cover with your Pikmin. Regardless of what you try you aren't going to have an easy time against it. As for crushing it depends on whether it is predictable in terms of Beady Long Legs or unpredictable like Empress Bulbax causing Rockfalls in Hole of Heroes (Battle 3)
honestly some of the rankings make me doubt that they've even played the game if I was making the list the Emperor Bulblax and Smokey Prog wouldn't even make top 5 (some of the lower bosses are probably helped by the fact that I don't cheese stuff so the fact that I consider the entire Submerged Castle to basically be an extended Water Wraith boss fight probably places that in number 1)
Yeah I would’ve put titan dweevil number 1 easily. And man at legs should be top 5. It can easily destroy your whole army. Especially if it’s your first time seeing it and you don’t know you can hide behind some of the smaller barriers
The fact that the Waterwraith is ranked so "high" on the list is such a pain. All you gotta do is have one purple, as soon as his spawn, wait for his animation to finish, then when he starts moving throw a Purple, he will be stunned, now swarm him and boom he's already on the ground and can't do any harm.
There's also a lot of wrong stuff in this video, as a Pikmin fan I can notice these pretty easily, I mean you can pretty much kill most Pikmin 2 bosses as soon as they spawn bc of how damn OP the purples are. The bread bug can kill Pikmin by luring them into the hole, the ranged bloyster thing is kinda hard to deal with too bc sometimes it shakes the pikmin off and eats them anyway bc they were thrown next to its mouth, there's a lot of stuff too but I don't wanna spend time writing them all.
I noticed some of the footage of the Titan Dweevil boss fight was from a mod called Pikmin 251. The Pikmin franchise has been one of my favorites and I enjoy seeing what others think about the game.
Here is something that would not a peg or two off the shaggy long legs. It is the only enemy the rock pikmin can latch onto. The one thing it can't hurt can hold onto it. Although when it comes to the big orb in the center, the rocks fall off after one attack, there is the hyper intelligent on in the water, and the thing being near many hazards that easily get the rocks stuck, it's gets pegged down a lot.
There's so much wrong with some of these ranking. First off, there are 3 Burrowing Snagrets in Piknin 1, not just 2. Secondly, the Empress Bulblax appears 3 times in the main story, again not just 2. And she only gains the ability to shower boulders from the ceiling in the last fight. The Man-at-legs is much more deadly if given the chance than a lot of the bosses above it, especially in the second arena which is partially segmented and makes positioning much harder. The Rocks from the Mereslug can't crush the pikmin, only bury them, and his eating attack can be stopped by simply swarming his mouth and making him pop up, although this sometimes still will result in a death. He should be ranked much lower You aren't meant to attack the pearl in the goolix, rather you should throw pikmin on the brain(?) to kill it much faster. The Giant Breadbug can indeed kill pikmin by draging them into it's den if you don't have enough pikmin to counter what it's dragging, but this does only come into play if you're careless. And you can indeed throw pikmin on the giant breadbug to hurt it normally, it's just....very difficult. And finally...What was that about purple pikmin causing the palliated snagret to bounce? That's...that's not a thing. Nor can you stun it. Also you completely neglected to mention it getting stuck in the ground as it rises.
Most people dont know this, but breadbugs can kill, If you dont have enough pikmin on an item, and the breadbug takes the enemy/Item into its hole, the Pikmin will die
Double dipping on my comments, here, but I’m inclined to agree with the power ratings listed here due to a…particular experience. Not too long ago I had a run through a Pikmin randomizer. Enemies got swapped/duped all over the place, and there were two situations that haunt my nightmares to this day. The first was one day in the Forest of Hope I saw that several of the grub dogs beyond the white fence gate had been replaced by multiple *Smokey Progs.* *I decided not to start that day and picked a different region.* It was not enough. I would continually get Prog’d throughout my run, and eventually was forced to get good at beating it with minimal casualties. All the same, at least half of my day would end up being “get all the ship stuff moving, check for Prog, KILL Prog, groan and wait for the day to roll over so I could bring in my part tomorrow.” Annoying, stressful, but doable. But then…I ran into the Snagret hole. Several Snagrets were still Snagrets. Horrible and annoying, sure, but a Snagret be just a Snagret. Skill, numbers and determination will win that fight. Unfortunately, the Snagret holding the ship part I required was replaced with *EMPEROR BULBLAX.* Imagine having that horrible Bulblax fight without any gate to hide behind AND he has a cliff behind him that drops off directly into WATER. It was only by sweet Baby Pikmin Jesus’s chin hairs that I managed to get the damn Geiger Counter, because for a long time I thought that Bulblax had KILLED my run. I had SEVERAL extinctions against that fight and numerous times I had to give up due to time. I almost started WELCOMING PROGS because the gold pearls would restock my completely battered army. I still hear the screams.
Wtf thats literally a mix of pikmin 1 and 2 because you had the snagret hole and geiger counter and the geiger counter is a ship part and the snagret hole is a cave
The image you used for the Ranging Bloyster, is a regular Toady Bloyster. Also, you can attack the Giant Breadbug with Purple Pikmin. And the Empress Bulblax appears three times, not two times in storymode. The Quaggled Mireclops is not a spider, it's just like the Creeping Chrysanthemum, it's head attracts prey, much like a Creeping Chrysanthemum attracts pray with it's flowers. The footage you used for the Titan Dweevil, where it is in the Impact Site is from Pikmin 251, a mod, the Titan Dweevil there is called the Scrambled Titan Dweevil. One final thing: This list is not highly accurate to other people. Fpr example: I find the Segmented Crawbster easy because there is a tricky to easily beat it. And I am not sure if you played the three Pikmin games. And I suggest looking more info up. You forgot to say a few things about bosses and stuff. But it's not a bad video.
While most of the video is pretty awful, the segmented Crawbster is genuinely one of the most terrifying enemies in the series, in a vacuum. In the context you fight it in in Pikmin 2, it's no big deal, but if you find it out in the wild in a randomizer or romhack or something, it's legitimately one of the scariest enemies in the game. Given the rest of the list, I imagine this is an accidental insight.
Crawbster in any room except the one you’re meant to fight it in is incredibly hard to kill, although you never see it outside that room unless you romhack the game
The bread bug and mamuta should’ve been switched because the bread bug can kill Pikmin by dragging them into its den while the Mamuta only helps Pikmin
I would honestly rank the plasm wraith a bit lower. A full team of rock pikmin makes the fight a joke as they are immune to being grabbed by the stabbing attack and just get pushed back. Not to mention rock pikmin do the most damage out of any pikmin in that game and you can outpace the healing the plasm wraith gains from the elemental plasm that doesn't correspond to rock pikmin. I also find that with rock pikmin if you are careful about it you can destroy the fire elemental plasm without sacrificing any pikmin.
I like how this franchise is gaining more of a cult following, as it’s a big part of my childhood and I always felt it was Nintendo’s most underrated franchise, but I have to disagree with a lot of this. For example, the mamuta I wouldn’t even consider a boss fight, but it would be lowest, since it helps pikmin. It and the giant breadbug should have been switched since it can kill pikmin if they us the tug of war mechanic and lose. The man-at-legs is easily the most dangerous of the four legged spider monsters. For god’s sake, it has a machine gun that can wipe out an entire army of pikmin in the blink of an eye. The raging long legs in the most dangerous? Please, that fight is a complete joke. It’s weak spot is huge and makes a very easy target. The really sad thing is that the dungeon it’s the boss of is overall a nightmare to get through. It should be a lot lower.
Water wraith and man at legs are way to low, burrowing snagret can eat like 3 pikmin and it relatively easy to kill, water wraith chases you and if you dont realize purple pikmin are needed it will kill your whole squad. Man at legs can also knock out a captain leaving the pikmin just standing there while he guns them down

there are actually 3 of the snagarets in pikmin 1s forest of hope,not 2. also in pikmin 2 the beady long legs is a boss and later demoted to miniboss as it is the fight at the end of the citadel of spiders
2:19 I’m pretty sure this is the only boss in the serious that is actually INCAPABLE of killing pikmin. Actually, the mumuta and the bread bug are almost opposites. One can kill your pikmin but not you, the other buries your pikmin and can hurt or even kill you if your lazy enough. (Ok it could but under realistic circumstances it shouldn’t)
It's not the ship part collected by defeating the emperor bulbax is optional you need it to get the best ending but you can still get a good ending without it
I think it actually is possible for the Giant Bread-bug to kill Pikmin, but only in a really unlikely way. If your Pikmin are losing the tug-of-war game with them (As in there are not enough Pikmin to take control of carrying an object) and the Giant Bread-bug drags the item back to its nest, the Pikmin who are holding onto the item will be sucked down with the enemy and subsequently killed. I think this also happens with the regular Bread-Bugs too. Something else to add, the Puffmin actually can't be turned back to normal when being attacked by regular Pikmin, in fact, your regular Pikmin are debatably more dangerous to the Puffmin than the poison that turns them in the first place since they will immediately start killing each other on sight.
starting with pikmin 2 the music for boss fights often changes during attacks and other actions. the only thing that makes the Titan Dweevel unique is that its music depends on the attack while the music for other boss's attacks is randomly picked from a few options.

You could remake this with pikmin 4 bosses Final boss spoilers below (I think the final boss has 1.5x more health than the emperor bulblax in the first game because it’s listed as 9000 HP but has 5 phases each with their own life bar
I don’t want to add to much of a negative comment cause I’ve seen there are plenty, and to argue against those people, this is how powerful the bosses are, not necessarily how hard. Although I will say it is clear the writer of the script has not played any of the Pikmin games

i have a lot of problems with this as someone who has enjoyed pikmin since his childhood. 1: there is NO defense in pikmin. the game uses HP. 2: Olimar is pronounced with the ol as in olive. not OH-limar. 3: why is the water wraith beneath the base snagret? 4: why is the MAL so low on the list as well? 5: why is armored crawmad so high up if it can be defeated in 8 seconds 6: emperor bulblax needs to be much lower. this is only naming the largest problems i had with this superficial analysis.
It's referring only to the hardest version of each boss apparently, although Man at Legs is way too early on this list. Pikmin 1 Snagrets were used, while Water Wraith is an extremely easy boss when you actually can fight it with Purple Pikmin.
Waterwraith is only hard because you have to run from it for three floors while on a timer. Once you have purple Pikmin he's insanely easy to beat, since you can stun lock him

Pikmin 3 bosses have their health segmented into phases, which is kind of lame. Also they can only kill a capped amount of pikmin in each attack. Pikmin 1 and 2 bosses are way more ruthless and some of them can wipe out 100 in a single attack if you're not careful.
I once beat the Smoky Prog with only 5 Pikmin deaths. Played real risky putting 100 Pikmin in the field, but I'm pretty pleased with how that fight went.
Did you just put a stationary enemy that MIGHT kill 3 pikmin over the course of like 15 seconds and can be slaughtered as quickly...over the MAN AT LEGS, which has a machine gun. All of these bosses are respectable, but none compare to the ultimate destroyer of Pikmin: The Wollywog from Pikmin 1. With its most powerful ability PUSHING PIKMIN BELOW THE MAP, they are the worst.
No. The ultimate destroyer is the Shearwig. You're rolling along a challenge, you're ten floors in, when all of a sudden, one of those little bastards pops out and snags a pikmin, and unlike every other similar enemy, there's nothing you can do but retry.
For starters just stating my opinion here, I cannot agree with these rankings. I agree with the bottom end but not the middle and part of the top. Bosses like the Man at Legs, Shaggy, and most certainly the water Wraith are far too low. Man at Legs is one of the most dangerous bosses ever with it’s brutal ranged attacks, for almost any first time player it will likely annihilate them. The fact that the Snagret is placed just above it which I find to be on the lower end of Pikmin bosses with it becoming a mini boss later on is kind of insulting to the Man At Legs. Shaggy’s hair protection and environmental movement can make it decently difficult to deal with and the hairs give it extra defense, but i’d have ranked it a bit higher. With the Water Wraith though I take into consideration the entire submerged castle. Never has an enemy been more dreadful, oppressive, or destructive than the water Wraith. You can’t even hurt it until the final floor so it’s defense until then is infinite. It also crushes Pikmin giving it infinite killing potential and will go after Pikmin not just the controlling player. The top end of the list is ok, I would have just Man At Legs and the Water Wraith up there. I’m happy with Mireclops, Plasm Wraith, and Emperor Bulblax’s spots

I would say swap the Mamuta and Giant Breadbug. The Breadbug is able to kill Pikmin that lose the tug of war battle, while the the Mamuta’ only harm is to damage Olimar. Also, the Breadbug can be damaged by purple Pikmin, meaning you have more than one option to kill it.
This madman did NOT just put the Man at Legs beneath the Burrowing Snagret. The "hippity hoppity, your life is my property" dakka spider beneath the "ahoy spongeboy me bob, I am dying because my extremely long unburrowing animation has caused 80 homicidal carrot men to cling to my face, ackackackackack" snake bird.
Armoured Mawdad is the easiest in my opinion. Offense can be destroyed in seconds of the fight by targeting the mandibles and giving it no way to eat Pikmin
I disagree with some of this, I think shaggy long legs is stronger than masteroe, bc masteroes attacks are so easy to deal with, even on a first playthrough, and waterwraith before empress, beady, snagret, and even meerslug and mireclops I dont understand, and man at legs being that low is criminal, and raging long legs is easy, and progg is also pretty weak, just aim for its head,my record for progg deaths is 20 pikmin lost
Goolix is a fast kill if you stretch it out and land a Blue on the nucleolus that follows Olimar. Just hope you don't have to many Blues on the other one.
Oh weird, you can latch onto that one? When I beat it all of them latched onto the one further away and I had to walk around in a circle for like a minute straight before they killed it
@@louiepikmin3184 You don't latch onto it. The point is to get it to stretch out and hit the second one with a Pikmin. It causes it to snap into the main one the Pikmin can latch onto, dealing massive damage if stretched enough. Just be careful as it will send all Pikmin flying.
Sandbelching meerslug > Segmented Crobster > Empress Bulblax > Man at Legs > Water wraith... This is just super wrong... Like, the Meerslug has almost no way to kill Pikmin and even if the rock it spits were deadly, it would be lower than or equal to all the other bosses I just listed. Everything before the Armored Mawdad/Shaggy long legs is acceptable but the rest is just totally unaccurate. Finally the most powerful enemy in my opinion, is the titan dweevil although the second phase, I managed to cheese it by triggering its attacks and back, but first phase is genocide potential especially water that has omega range and can land on the group of Pikmin left behind (all types except yellow) and electricity hazard due to the unpredictable pattern of the electric spikes and the electricity between then and the fact that electricity literally 1HKO and it's my favorite boss so it may be biased a little.
Emperor Bulblax the most powerful? Idk man. It’s pretty darn easy to beat him without a Pikmin death. I STILL haven’t achieved that with the Plasm Wraith 😰
If you really think emperor bulblax is so strong why isn't the sovereign bulblax from pikmin 4 number 1? And empress bulblaxs most powerful appearance is in cavern for a king in pikmin 4 were it's a tiny room where you can't go in front or behind.
All of the Pikmin 3 bosses get an immediate low-ranking disadvantage due to lock-on and how EASY it is to absolutely wreck them. Mawdad is useless without its mandibles, the Phosbat can be killed with only 2-3 lights on, Meerslug is a joke of a boss that is only backed up by how time-consuming it is(I've lost more pikmin to bringing back the melon and the corpse than the boss), the Scornet Maestro is the hardest only because of its damage cap every fourth of its health and the wide births of its attacks, the Quaggeled Mireclops is a 2-cycle with 90 winged pikmin, and the Plasm Wraith is defenseless if you bring 5 yellow and blue pikmin with the rest being rock pikmin, and the long legs and crawmad aren't even bosses.
When Mamuta is above the Giant Breadbug, I raise an eyebrow. When any Aranchnorb outranks Man At Legs, warning sirens go off in my head. The list definitely feels like it does not accurately rank these at all, because having more defense doesn’t mean more kill-y.
Why is armored mawdad higher than the puff stool, armored Canon beetle, Goolix, Ranging booster, and Bug eyed crawmad if it can't do any damage but these ones can?
I stopped watching when I saw the Man-at-Legs lower than the burrowing snagret. I have to assume you either haven't played the games yourself or have watched experienced players do cheese strats. This list is flat out wrong even when using a boss's strongest stats across all games. So many nuisances just ignored or overlooked

Dude I'm sorry but while yes the bug eyed crawmad is ridiculously easy to put it below the mawdad? The mawdad is a joke and can be killed in 20 seconds and literally needs a damage cap to actually not die in 4 seconds. I have never ever lost a single Pikmin to it ever even during my first playthrough (Pikmin 3 is the first Pikmin game I played)

Yeah I would’ve put titan dweevil number 1 easily. And man at legs should be top 5. It can easily destroy your whole army. Especially if it’s your first time seeing it and you don’t know you can hide behind some of the smaller barriers
The fact that the Waterwraith is ranked so "high" on the list is such a pain.
All you gotta do is have one purple, as soon as his spawn, wait for his animation to finish, then when he starts moving throw a Purple, he will be stunned, now swarm him and boom he's already on the ground and can't do any harm.
There's also a lot of wrong stuff in this video, as a Pikmin fan I can notice these pretty easily, I mean you can pretty much kill most Pikmin 2 bosses as soon as they spawn bc of how damn OP the purples are. The bread bug can kill Pikmin by luring them into the hole, the ranged bloyster thing is kinda hard to deal with too bc sometimes it shakes the pikmin off and eats them anyway bc they were thrown next to its mouth, there's a lot of stuff too but I don't wanna spend time writing them all.

Here is something that would not a peg or two off the shaggy long legs. It is the only enemy the rock pikmin can latch onto. The one thing it can't hurt can hold onto it. Although when it comes to the big orb in the center, the rocks fall off after one attack, there is the hyper intelligent on in the water, and the thing being near many hazards that easily get the rocks stuck, it's gets pegged down a lot.
If your quick you can break the electricity attack with rocks as well but the water has to much health to do that as well

There's so much wrong with some of these ranking.
First off, there are 3 Burrowing Snagrets in Piknin 1, not just 2.
Secondly, the Empress Bulblax appears 3 times in the main story, again not just 2. And she only gains the ability to shower boulders from the ceiling in the last fight.
The Man-at-legs is much more deadly if given the chance than a lot of the bosses above it, especially in the second arena which is partially segmented and makes positioning much harder.
The Rocks from the Mereslug can't crush the pikmin, only bury them, and his eating attack can be stopped by simply swarming his mouth and making him pop up, although this sometimes still will result in a death. He should be ranked much lower
You aren't meant to attack the pearl in the goolix, rather you should throw pikmin on the brain(?) to kill it much faster.
The Giant Breadbug can indeed kill pikmin by draging them into it's den if you don't have enough pikmin to counter what it's dragging, but this does only come into play if you're careless. And you can indeed throw pikmin on the giant breadbug to hurt it normally, it's just....very difficult.
And finally...What was that about purple pikmin causing the palliated snagret to bounce? That's...that's not a thing. Nor can you stun it. Also you completely neglected to mention it getting stuck in the ground as it rises.

Most people dont know this, but breadbugs can kill, If you dont have enough pikmin on an item, and the breadbug takes the enemy/Item into its hole, the Pikmin will die

Double dipping on my comments, here, but I’m inclined to agree with the power ratings listed here due to a…particular experience.
Not too long ago I had a run through a Pikmin randomizer. Enemies got swapped/duped all over the place, and there were two situations that haunt my nightmares to this day.
The first was one day in the Forest of Hope I saw that several of the grub dogs beyond the white fence gate had been replaced by multiple *Smokey Progs.*
*I decided not to start that day and picked a different region.*
It was not enough. I would continually get Prog’d throughout my run, and eventually was forced to get good at beating it with minimal casualties. All the same, at least half of my day would end up being “get all the ship stuff moving, check for Prog, KILL Prog, groan and wait for the day to roll over so I could bring in my part tomorrow.” Annoying, stressful, but doable.
But then…I ran into the Snagret hole.
Several Snagrets were still Snagrets. Horrible and annoying, sure, but a Snagret be just a Snagret. Skill, numbers and determination will win that fight.
Unfortunately, the Snagret holding the ship part I required was replaced with *EMPEROR BULBLAX.*
Imagine having that horrible Bulblax fight without any gate to hide behind AND he has a cliff behind him that drops off directly into WATER.
It was only by sweet Baby Pikmin Jesus’s chin hairs that I managed to get the damn Geiger Counter, because for a long time I thought that Bulblax had KILLED my run. I had SEVERAL extinctions against that fight and numerous times I had to give up due to time.
I almost started WELCOMING PROGS because the gold pearls would restock my completely battered army.
I still hear the screams.

The image you used for the Ranging Bloyster, is a regular Toady Bloyster. Also, you can attack the Giant Breadbug with Purple Pikmin. And the Empress Bulblax appears three times, not two times in storymode. The Quaggled Mireclops is not a spider, it's just like the Creeping Chrysanthemum, it's head attracts prey, much like a Creeping Chrysanthemum attracts pray with it's flowers. The footage you used for the Titan Dweevil, where it is in the Impact Site is from Pikmin 251, a mod, the Titan Dweevil there is called the Scrambled Titan Dweevil. One final thing: This list is not highly accurate to other people. Fpr example: I find the Segmented Crawbster easy because there is a tricky to easily beat it. And I am not sure if you played the three Pikmin games. And I suggest looking more info up. You forgot to say a few things about bosses and stuff. But it's not a bad video.
While most of the video is pretty awful, the segmented Crawbster is genuinely one of the most terrifying enemies in the series, in a vacuum.
In the context you fight it in in Pikmin 2, it's no big deal, but if you find it out in the wild in a randomizer or romhack or something, it's legitimately one of the scariest enemies in the game.
Given the rest of the list, I imagine this is an accidental insight.
Crawbster in any room except the one you’re meant to fight it in is incredibly hard to kill, although you never see it outside that room unless you romhack the game

I would honestly rank the plasm wraith a bit lower. A full team of rock pikmin makes the fight a joke as they are immune to being grabbed by the stabbing attack and just get pushed back. Not to mention rock pikmin do the most damage out of any pikmin in that game and you can outpace the healing the plasm wraith gains from the elemental plasm that doesn't correspond to rock pikmin. I also find that with rock pikmin if you are careful about it you can destroy the fire elemental plasm without sacrificing any pikmin.
Plasma wraith and water wraith are both really hard to rank since the area they chase you through is much harder than the actual bossfight
I like how this franchise is gaining more of a cult following, as it’s a big part of my childhood and I always felt it was Nintendo’s most underrated franchise, but I have to disagree with a lot of this. For example, the mamuta I wouldn’t even consider a boss fight, but it would be lowest, since it helps pikmin. It and the giant breadbug should have been switched since it can kill pikmin if they us the tug of war mechanic and lose. The man-at-legs is easily the most dangerous of the four legged spider monsters. For god’s sake, it has a machine gun that can wipe out an entire army of pikmin in the blink of an eye. The raging long legs in the most dangerous? Please, that fight is a complete joke. It’s weak spot is huge and makes a very easy target. The really sad thing is that the dungeon it’s the boss of is overall a nightmare to get through. It should be a lot lower.
If you wanna avoid the children in the Vehemoth Phosbat fight you can just turn on the one big light and avoid the smaller ones and they wont spawn.
Taking out the nests is also no problem, since they only start spawning after a certain amount of lightbulbs is turned on.

Water wraith and man at legs are way to low, burrowing snagret can eat like 3 pikmin and it relatively easy to kill, water wraith chases you and if you dont realize purple pikmin are needed it will kill your whole squad. Man at legs can also knock out a captain leaving the pikmin just standing there while he guns them down

One can kill your pikmin but not you, the other buries your pikmin and can hurt or even kill you if your lazy enough. (Ok it could but under realistic circumstances it shouldn’t)

For the last two bosses mentioned, the silver medal for the smoky progg is because it’s optional whereas emperor bulblax is MANDATORY to progress
It's not the ship part collected by defeating the emperor bulbax is optional you need it to get the best ending but you can still get a good ending without it
I think it actually is possible for the Giant Bread-bug to kill Pikmin, but only in a really unlikely way. If your Pikmin are losing the tug-of-war game with them (As in there are not enough Pikmin to take control of carrying an object) and the Giant Bread-bug drags the item back to its nest, the Pikmin who are holding onto the item will be sucked down with the enemy and subsequently killed. I think this also happens with the regular Bread-Bugs too. Something else to add, the Puffmin actually can't be turned back to normal when being attacked by regular Pikmin, in fact, your regular Pikmin are debatably more dangerous to the Puffmin than the poison that turns them in the first place since they will immediately start killing each other on sight.
an interesting side note for the titan dweevel is that the music for the encounter will temporarily change, depending on which weapon it is using
starting with pikmin 2 the music for boss fights often changes during attacks and other actions. the only thing that makes the Titan Dweevel unique is that its music depends on the attack while the music for other boss's attacks is randomly picked from a few options.

i have a lot of problems with this as someone who has enjoyed pikmin since his childhood.
1: there is NO defense in pikmin. the game uses HP.
2: Olimar is pronounced with the ol as in olive. not OH-limar.
3: why is the water wraith beneath the base snagret?
4: why is the MAL so low on the list as well?
5: why is armored crawmad so high up if it can be defeated in 8 seconds
6: emperor bulblax needs to be much lower.

It's referring only to the hardest version of each boss apparently, although Man at Legs is way too early on this list. Pikmin 1 Snagrets were used, while Water Wraith is an extremely easy boss when you actually can fight it with Purple Pikmin.
Waterwraith is only hard because you have to run from it for three floors while on a timer. Once you have purple Pikmin he's insanely easy to beat, since you can stun lock him

Pikmin 3 bosses have their health segmented into phases, which is kind of lame. Also they can only kill a capped amount of pikmin in each attack. Pikmin 1 and 2 bosses are way more ruthless and some of them can wipe out 100 in a single attack if you're not careful.

For starters just stating my opinion here, I cannot agree with these rankings. I agree with the bottom end but not the middle and part of the top. Bosses like the Man at Legs, Shaggy, and most certainly the water Wraith are far too low. Man at Legs is one of the most dangerous bosses ever with it’s brutal ranged attacks, for almost any first time player it will likely annihilate them. The fact that the Snagret is placed just above it which I find to be on the lower end of Pikmin bosses with it becoming a mini boss later on is kind of insulting to the Man At Legs. Shaggy’s hair protection and environmental movement can make it decently difficult to deal with and the hairs give it extra defense, but i’d have ranked it a bit higher. With the Water Wraith though I take into consideration the entire submerged castle. Never has an enemy been more dreadful, oppressive, or destructive than the water Wraith. You can’t even hurt it until the final floor so it’s defense until then is infinite. It also crushes Pikmin giving it infinite killing potential and will go after Pikmin not just the controlling player. The top end of the list is ok, I would have just Man At Legs and the Water Wraith up there. I’m happy with Mireclops, Plasm Wraith, and Emperor Bulblax’s spots

I would say swap the Mamuta and Giant Breadbug. The Breadbug is able to kill Pikmin that lose the tug of war battle, while the the Mamuta’ only harm is to damage Olimar. Also, the Breadbug can be damaged by purple Pikmin, meaning you have more than one option to kill it.

@@louiepikmin3184 You don't latch onto it. The point is to get it to stretch out and hit the second one with a Pikmin. It causes it to snap into the main one the Pikmin can latch onto, dealing massive damage if stretched enough. Just be careful as it will send all Pikmin flying.

Like, the Meerslug has almost no way to kill Pikmin and even if the rock it spits were deadly, it would be lower than or equal to all the other bosses I just listed. Everything before the Armored Mawdad/Shaggy long legs is acceptable but the rest is just totally unaccurate. Finally the most powerful enemy in my opinion, is the titan dweevil although the second phase, I managed to cheese it by triggering its attacks and back, but first phase is genocide potential especially water that has omega range and can land on the group of Pikmin left behind (all types except yellow) and electricity hazard due to the unpredictable pattern of the electric spikes and the electricity between then and the fact that electricity literally 1HKO and it's my favorite boss so it may be biased a little.
Emperor Bulblax the most powerful? Idk man. It’s pretty darn easy to beat him without a Pikmin death. I STILL haven’t achieved that with the Plasm Wraith 😰
If you really think emperor bulblax is so strong why isn't the sovereign bulblax from pikmin 4 number 1? And empress bulblaxs most powerful appearance is in cavern for a king in pikmin 4 were it's a tiny room where you can't go in front or behind.
All of the Pikmin 3 bosses get an immediate low-ranking disadvantage due to lock-on and how EASY it is to absolutely wreck them. Mawdad is useless without its mandibles, the Phosbat can be killed with only 2-3 lights on, Meerslug is a joke of a boss that is only backed up by how time-consuming it is(I've lost more pikmin to bringing back the melon and the corpse than the boss), the Scornet Maestro is the hardest only because of its damage cap every fourth of its health and the wide births of its attacks, the Quaggeled Mireclops is a 2-cycle with 90 winged pikmin, and the Plasm Wraith is defenseless if you bring 5 yellow and blue pikmin with the rest being rock pikmin, and the long legs and crawmad aren't even bosses.
Empress bulblax should be way higher because of it's appearance in pikmin 4. In pikmin 4 it's easily one of the hardest bosses in the pikmin series.

Why is armored mawdad higher than the puff stool, armored Canon beetle, Goolix, Ranging booster, and Bug eyed crawmad if it can't do any damage but these ones can?
I stopped watching when I saw the Man-at-Legs lower than the burrowing snagret. I have to assume you either haven't played the games yourself or have watched experienced players do cheese strats. This list is flat out wrong even when using a boss's strongest stats across all games. So many nuisances just ignored or overlooked
None are powerful. Just step on them. They are canonically like a foot tall MAX

Dude I'm sorry but while yes the bug eyed crawmad is ridiculously easy to put it below the mawdad? The mawdad is a joke and can be killed in 20 seconds and literally needs a damage cap to actually not die in 4 seconds. I have never ever lost a single Pikmin to it ever even during my first playthrough (Pikmin 3 is the first Pikmin game I played)

The scornet mistro and the raging bloster aren't really threats since you should beat them without losing any Pikmin EZ and if you do that's on you

you can hit goolix's moving ball to hit its brain ball, and Emperess bulborb appears 3 times in the main story if you 100% the game, i wish this person did better reasearch on this game series
