Feverfew - Tanacetum parthenium
Feverfew is an introduced plant that has become established in many places in North America. It's thought of as a weed by some, but we are happy to have it in our yard. It has pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties and has been used to relieve headaches. It has been used in the long-term to prevent migraines, and might have some limited ability to relieve them after they have begun. also, if you crush up the leaves and inhale deeply, they can help relieve congestion.

These are so pretty. Just my opinion, but I'd rather have a yard full of 'weeds' than only grass. I love to walk among the flowers, and bees, and butterflies, and dragonflies. I'm glad I live out in the country.
