- aww yea, 1984 a very special year! One of my favorite years as a child.
This was the United States broadcast television schedule on all three commercial television networks on Saturday mornings for the season beginning in the fall of 1984 and ending in the spring of 1985. All times are Eastern and Pacific.

Wow two years after the movie came out they were still doing ET commercials. Born 77 and without a doubt the 80's was a great decade to be a kid.

It was nonstop goodness. Awesome cartoons and Toys galore!!! Toys R Us just stacked with an unorganized mess of toys to the roof and I loved it!!!!

Wolf Rock TV was nominated for Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Film Sound Music in 1985, after the show ended. It was reaired as The Wolf Rock Power Hour from 1989 to 1990, along with the other animated series, Kidd Video. It's been lost since its 1990 syndicated reruns. It's still lost and needs to found one day in the upcoming months and future.

These 80 cartoons made my day in 1984. Woke up to watch these shows:Mighty Orbots and Wolf Rock TV were my favorites. The commercials were cool from 1980s standards 🥰💙💕💕 #The80sRule
These are amazing. Thank you! I have a 16mm film Petey the Puppy Saves the Circus. It was on of 4 cartoons that aired on the ABC Weekend Special. The Puppy's New Adventures was based off of those. I believe there was also another series called The Puppy's Further Adventures. Ruby Spears cartoons were right up there with Hanna Barbera and Filmation. I actually like them better for the great specials like The Trouble With Miss Switch etc. They put out.

I was 4 when this was on and I remember having to turn the TV down really low to watch Mighty Orbots. I finally bagged that DVD recently because I know it's gonna go rare soon. I love this era so much I wouldn't mind being 5 years older just to have spent more of my aware years in that decade. I'm so glad you're still putting up all this rare stuff even if the copyright monsters make you cut the audio on Schoolhouse Rock.

I was only 3 this year but I do remember watching Teen Turbo a few years later.
I remember waking up early from morning till noon. While my mom was getting groceries and sisters were getting ready to go to the mall. Then after 12 I’d start my day with them and my focus was to go to Kay B toys. Thanks for the memories. I enjoyed the time.

Sadly, 1984 was the year that pretty much finished Saturday morning for me. I was going into high school and soon Saturday morning ski team races would become priority. Other than the Puppy and Superfriends, cartoons from my era…the new stuff I wasn’t feeling. Still an interesting mix with period commercials here.

I love the fact that you include the commercials. It adds to the feeling of nostalgia. All one needs is a big ol' bowl of their favorite cereal, and they're instantly teleported back to their childhood. The closest thing to time travel their is. 👍🏿

I was 5-6 in 1984, a great time for me! I had my family, toys, and cartoons and that was all I needed! I don't remember a lot of these, guess I was watching NBC or CBS. 😃

FYI, I was chilling watching your cartoons and I was happy when I saw the Superfriends intro to then find out that it didn’t play the episode. It happened with another cartoon. Gerry, you got to read in the description on which shows I can air; a lot of cartoons are heavily copywritten. Marvel Disney etc... So, no super friends, I do what I can to give you the nostalgia you want my friend.

Actually Mighty Orbots was canceled because of a lawsuit filed by Tonka, who owned the Gobots franchise.

I just found out that Wolf Rock TV is located in the Marion Stokes archives in the Internet Archive. She has ABC recorded 24/7 during the mid 80s. Where can I find it?

due to copyrights from Disney, Sony and so forth I am unable to show Super friends. It's in the description.

They put The Bunjee Venture on youtube but not the sequel.
