The fact that every credible economist has explained that the claim of "overcapacity", especially in relation to EVs in China, is a joke, yet Yasheng Huang whole-heartedly adopted this, means that he gets his talking points, not from research, but from U.S. government dictates.

Mr Huang has had quite a successful career by making wrong observations and predictions on China for over 20 years. He famously asserted that India would have overtaken China by now 2 decades ago because of its democratic institutions. Impressive 😅

It’s a lower-cost economy, and with lower price resources as the competitive force to invade world markets , it’s heavily dependent on foreign markets and it fluctuates as the world markets fluctuate. The nature of hybridity might not guarantee a trajectory towards stability and maturity

Ahhh, this professor jst sides with the west. Haha, he tells a one sided story all the way. For example, he talks about china dependency on the west but then leaves out the fact that it's both sided. The west dependency on china. The west also depends on china, it has no where else to buy these things they badly need like batteries and solar(renewable energy equipment)
