Curious about what the cost is to build that bike, and also a complete parts list, that's a bad ass ride, also what's the top speed, I'm looking for something that'll do at least 65 or a little more, for hwy use
I believe I am right around $5k total into the bike, and that's including the purchase of the bike. I am going to be building my website shortly, and I planned on having a page for each build. That's where I will post the full parts list when I get them created. So be on the lookout for the webpage in the near future. I have had my bike up to a max of 62 mph so far. If I were to do some more modification, it would probably go faster.
@@MikesMiniMotors is there anyway she performed that you can send me a parts list, and what company that all these parts came from? Please and thank you
@@MikesMiniMotors lol, sorry I wasn't more specific, and I would really appreciate it if you could and would please send me the info on it,, also I really like your videos, I'm 54 and you gave me the inspiration to build a little project bike,by the way what's the top speed on that bike
Thanks, I'm really glad you are liking my videos! That's great you are going to start a new project, they are so much fun! If Brandon gets me a parts list for his bike, I will let you know. Brandon has not had a chance to test out the top speed yet because it is just too cold here now to try it. We will test it out this spring when it is a little warmer. I am assuming it should be fairly close to the same top speed of my bike though, which was 62mph.
I used fuse taps. They go into the slot with the fuse and give you a spade tab to connect to. amzn.to/32FkJmQ If I were to do it again though, I would tap into the wire feeding the fuse directly behind it and solder my connection. Sometimes the fuse taps are not the best connection, I just used it for simplicity and speed.
Brandon purchased it off of eBay. The muffler looks to be a knockoff of the exhaust that The Ruck Shop sells, but the header and muffler mount are different. I am pretty sure it was not made for a wide tire GY6, and that is why we had to modify both the header and the muffler mount to clear the wheel and tire. theruckshop.com/product/trs-full-carbon-fiber-dual-outlet-gy6-150-full-exhaust-system/

Sorry, I just realized that this was for Brandon's bike and not mine. I can ask him if he has a full parts list for his bike.

How did you tap into the 10 amp?
I used fuse taps. They go into the slot with the fuse and give you a spade tab to connect to.

Is his frame painted or powder coated?
The frame is painted. The only thing he had powder coated was his wheels.
Where did you get that header?
Brandon purchased it off of eBay. The muffler looks to be a knockoff of the exhaust that The Ruck Shop sells, but the header and muffler mount are different. I am pretty sure it was not made for a wide tire GY6, and that is why we had to modify both the header and the muffler mount to clear the wheel and tire.
