Travis Busch lobs an inbound pass downcourt, and Blake Hoffarber makes a leaping catch, spins, and throws up a left-handed 18-footer that swishes through the net at the buzzer to give Minnesota a 59-58 victory. The circumstances were not nearly as high as the Duke-Kentucky game with Laettner's miracle shot, but, if you ask me, the catch and the shot were more incredible.
Northwestern has always put up good games against Michigan... Hopefully they can keep this undefeated train going tonight! But I'm always a bit nervous when we face them.

That UNC shot vs Kentucky. Man that whole game was just so shitty. The officiating was sus af, it wasn't just Kentucky either, happened against Oregon even worse, and then it happened to Gonzaga as well in the championship game. UNC got handed a championship that year. UNC played like trash against Kentucky that's what made everyone so upset, Kentucky fans took it way too far but still don't excuse the fact that that officiating crew did a terrible job that night. Not once did I see UNC get called for over the back or loose ball fouls when they clearly should have, their bigs can't rebound without being on someone's shoulders. I hate to rant but honestly that UNC team is the most tainted championship team of all time.
