Good video! We live an hour away and do long weekends there, and I want to repeat stress a couple points on walkability. 1. DO NOT ever assume that cars will stop just because you’re in a crosswalk and/or have pedestrian lights saying you can go. Make sure they have actually stopped before you step out. Pedestrians and bicyclists are not “expected” outside downtown St. Pete, and downtown is still kinda iffy. 2. Downtown St. Pete, and St. Pete Beach, are two separate places, with some distance between. Getting from one to the other is not walkable, for practical purpose. A lot of visitors assume they’re more connected or closer than they are. No car needed for downtown St. Pete. Downtown is wonderfully walkable. But you DO need a car (or Uber, more bus, etc) to get to the beaches or pretty much anywhere else.
I love your city now and I also love mine the city of Toronto sometimes you need to show people how amazing a place is so they can love it too. What an amazing video
ABSOLUTELY...but be familiar with his work before you go. It's really kinda...weird. In fact, there's a billboard up RIGHT NOW as you head into downtown with his face on it. Jessh...a face only a mother could love.
Hello!! Thank you for the helpful info. I was looking at apt complexes there and was curious if you could tell me the one I’m looking at getting is in a safe place?
I'd say it's up to your preference! Downtown is very lively, with lots to do within walking distance. Gulf Blvd is very much "island time" - if you're wanting uninterrupted beach time, that's the way to go!
As someone born and raised in Clearwater...and currently living in St. Pete...it KILLS ME when people refer to the city of "Tampa Bay". There is NO SUCH CITY. Please get it right.
Did you just see the losers who littered in Boca ????? Boat dump of trash! Awful. I’ll be in st Pete soon. Used to live there. Excited to go back soon. I’m On the south side of Florida. Near Miami

St.Pete and Clearwater are my favorite beach's by far. I've been down there twice in 2 years and I'm already looking forward to going back
This was excellent thank you. I’ll be there on Friday.
Just hit St Pete Pier and Madeira Beach 2 weeks ago.
I love that place ❤

Thank you for the amazing video! I definitely feel better equipped to make the best of my first trip to St. Pete. Is the Dali museum worth visiting?
