  • Even after my 1st round of chemotherapy was complete, I still needed to stay in the hospital. I had a lot of talks with people about my continued fears, fears of the unknown, especially about the process of losing my hair.
20 years later I don't even remember that I was concerned about losing my hair, and only can recall that based on the journal I kept. Today I realize it's not what is on the outside but what is on the inside that matters most.
It is my hope that my cancer vlog with acute myeloid leukemia connects to the people who need inspiration and hope.
There were days I wanted to give up and my leukemia story vlog is a peak into 20 years ago when I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. My treatment including the good days, bad days, worse days and the humor we infused throughout.
Then fast forward to today. My ordinary life that is extraordinary. This doesn't mean all of my days are happy and sunny, it doesn't even mean that I appreciate every day though I should. It means that I'm at a point where my cancer journey is a part of me rather than it defined me.
    With Love,
    Beth

Love the haircut, and also the fact that you chose this particular day for a cut and to try something new
