You took the words right out of my mouth. I said the same thing. In every show I watch there is one Character that I call my girl. Duela is my girl in Gotham Knights. For me that means. She can basically do no wrong in my eyes.

Okay, as wicked in the extreme as this "date" is; at least these girls're modestly dressed, and not even *considering* using oneanother for sex; so in those two areas at least the *actresses* were respected- the staff are owed at least that much dignity due to treating these lady coworkers of theirs with that much dignity.
Basically, any sort of sex-scene or nudity-scene really is a form of sexual harassment, especially in film... and must never ever be permitted, no matter what.

Duela Dent, however, did *not* have good parentage/upbringing, not in the least; hers was one of profound ethical abuse in the extreme- I do not feel sorry for her; I'm scared for her, as her upbringing was her being raised to be profoundly violent and evil in the extreme!

@@FiretrapDiva I know it is fiction; that's the beauty of this lens: it allows us to explore these things without having the actors endangering their own integrity excessively; still: this one is very problematic for the actresses in question.
The sole right thing about this kiss scene is that the actresses, while depicting their characters acting up; were themselves modest, and not involved in all manner of acting up by fooling around with illicit office romance: so while the young ladies they depicted were being profoundly evil- they themselves are not, but are merely showing their characters behaving horribly.
Not sure how they're being profoundly evil. Stephanie refused to let her friends die after being gaslit and abused by her parents, and Harper ensured Stephanie had a place in the hideout to sleep and stay. They were also working most of last episode to save Turner.

You may want to know though that Stephanie and Harper have only kissed, they haven't had sex (as fornication refers to extramarital sex). As for cohabitation... Not sure how that could ever be considered evil, as evil is a very strong word and especially as it's not the characters choice, but if that's your opinion then you do you.
@@starrblue8791 Okay, at least that way we understand where eachother's "base" is, if nothing else... and mind you, adultery is way worse than any fornication; safe rule is that any sort of sexual act outside the bounds of traditional marriage is, and always will be, as well as always was, explicitly prohibited.
Yes, I know well that detail in the show; but while shows are good entertainment for telling a story, they are far from solid sources of morals.
@@chissstardestroyer Oh, I'm aware that shows, films, and any kind of media are far from a solid source of morals, I was just confused as to why the characters in this scene were coming across as evil to you, and now I have my answer (as you said, we just have different bases). Although I am a little confused about the adultery comment as none of the characters are married or dating someone else, so nobody is cheating on anyone (although if they were I would be in full agreement with you as cheating on someone is disgusting behaviour).
To see all their stories continue, google "Not Offended, Duela". I've finished writing, and let's just say, it went some places I didn't necessarily expect, but nothing offbrand for a story based on DC comics characters. Well, I tried to give them some emotional depth, so that's a little offbrand. ;).
