I hope all the CEO’s learn from the treatment Howard Shultz got. You cannot appease the mob enough, ever. Speak truth early and take the costs upfront.

Sadly beyond the grasp of most dummycrats.
I bet that moron Bernie Sanders was pissing his pants trying to come up with a rebuttal to Dr. Paul. Rand Paul is an American hero, just look at the difference: rand Paul is a successful doctor and one of the most important members of Congress, and a long term senator, Bernie Sanders is a communist reject, a loser who has never produced anything of value his entire life and has never done anything of noteworthiness, never even had an actual job, and yet he has still made a living and millions of dollars being a useless parasite who lives to deride the system that has made him so wealthy

I just want to add a fact I heard on the radio one day. There was a twenty year period in the late 19th century (I want to say 1880 - 1900 but I could be wrong about the precise period) when the US experienced it's largest GDP growth ever (250%). That twenty year period was presided over by 6 pro-growth, pro-business Republican presidents.
That sounds like the period where the Democrats decided they needed to punish the "robber barons" who were busy building railroads steel mills, oil refineries, electric power plants...
Republicans voted for the Sherman Antitrust Act and have been supporting Dem anti-business laws ever since. Reps now hate individual rights.

Ayn Rand's works aren't taught or read in schools anymore. Wonder why?
I believe in managed capitalism and Ayn Rand is a hack that fails to acknowledge the weaknesses of capitalism. Often the pursuit of near-term profits can have adverse long-term consequences impacting the quality of life for others. The perfect examples of this are air and water pollution from past and present. Given a chance pure capitalism can be highly destructive to long-term well-being.

My Uncle paid union dues all his life. When he retired he elected to receive a higher percentage amount in union pension, this election made it impossible for my Aunt his widow to receive a dime more when he unexpectedly died a few years later at age 68. All the funds paid in for 45 years were not available to her and the numerous pages of fine print in this election unbeknownst to them, after review by an attorney, she would spend a fortune in an attempt to try and recover. She could use the money they paid into the union pension fund....he only collected a short two years. I'm not sure why the union was able to keep all the funds he obviously had in his reserves?

Because unions are corrupt, ponzi schemes where the workers pay in and the bosses collect. There's a reason the mafia and Democrats love unions.

“We live in an era of super abundance.” That is exactly what some people have a problem. If we have too much then they can use power to control it all.
Having a lot means there's more to control? Hunh? I think it's far more risky to have too little. Then you're totally desperate and looking for a handout at any cost - including the cost of all your liberty and self-determination.
