I've been in the States now for 20 years .. I still cannot fathom what the point of any of these hearings are ... does anyone ever get prosecuted for wrong doing ? Or is it just charade after charade after charade ... ?

Nobody ever gets prosecuted who should. They just toss some underling in jail if it ever gets that far. But you are on the right track that its charade after charade. They need to pretend they are doing work to make it look like democracy is happening and collect a check. "Are you not entertained?"

He gets the government in power to buy up his books using tax payer dollars and then gives his books away for free. Kamala Harris did the same thing with her children's books.
*This is called "corporatism" and is completely different than capitalism. In fact, it's totally socialism in every sense of the word. Bernie (and many in the DNC including Hunter Biden) forces hard working tax payers to pay for the garbage they create and you have no say in the matter*
Hunter Biden's artwork was bought for $800M for a finger painting he did. You could have bought the most expensive Rembrandt and had money left over. The Mob never went away... they are still organized crime... they just changed their name to the DNC.

My Uncle paid union dues all his life. When he retired he elected to receive a higher percentage amount in union pension, this election made it impossible for my Aunt his widow to receive a dime more when he unexpectedly died a few years later at age 68. All the funds paid in for 45 years were not available to her and the numerous pages of fine print in this election unbeknownst to them, after review by an attorney, she would spend a fortune in an attempt to try and recover. She could use the money they paid into the union pension fund....he only collected a short two years. I'm not sure why the union was able to keep all the funds he obviously had in his reserves?

Because unions are corrupt, ponzi schemes where the workers pay in and the bosses collect. There's a reason the mafia and Democrats love unions.

“We live in an era of super abundance.” That is exactly what some people have a problem. If we have too much then they can use power to control it all.

Having a lot means there's more to control? Hunh? I think it's far more risky to have too little. Then you're totally desperate and looking for a handout at any cost - including the cost of all your liberty and self-determination.
