There are many rape/incest victims in this world
Can a survivor with child from rape be a consecrated bride of Christ?😢
I wish the Catholic Church can a have a saint victim of rape then did not abort, she became a mother.
      I mean a survivor can be a saint❤

As an orthodox Christian, I know and believe with all my being Christ is the only way. However, when surrounded by so many different people of different religions, who suffer, struggle and are better than me 1000 times… What I struggle with is why me? What did I do to deserve knowing the truth and how poor of a witness I am to the rest of the world . Lord , forgive me ! .., Gods sovereignty is hard to understand at times. For now I take refuge in saints stories like saint Moses the strong, a story of transformation that reminds me of God’s individual call to each of us.
I pray we may all live and breath and have our being through Christ alone 🙏🥰✝️

I work as a firefighter is a very blighted, violent city. When I’m in the truck just…looking at the environment and what we have done to each other. It breaks my heart to pieces. I pray to God to forgive us. And I pray God to forgive me my anger, rage and disgust at what I see us do to each other. ☦️☦️☦️

'Never condemn, but never dillute the faith' . Wise words to meditate on, Father. I can see how sometimes, due to your loving and empathetic attitude, some people may mistake your message as being permissive to all personal truths and spiritual doctrines, but as a true Orthodox monk, you stay faithful to the One and Only Truth. And it is also interesting that you pointed out the ways in which Orthodoxy has adapted to the wordly changes, as a means of saving our souls, without compromising the original Faith, i never thought about it that way, as an orthodox. God bless and may God help you carry through all the work in the coming days for the monastery.

Thank you for saying “being spiritual means nothing.” That is a common phrase, “I am spiritual but not religious,” I have heard many times and not only here. Please keep us in your prayers, we, like you right now, are so busy with wedding planning and dealing with the expectations of our family and those around us, but we are desperately trying to keep our eyes on Christ and on the beauty and truth of the Sacrament we are about to enter together. I pray we can come visit Iona and Mull and meet you one day 🤍🙏

We should not be "like broken machines". We are divine creations. We should not be compared to a machine or anything mechanical. God created human beings.
Sometimes we must go through the darkness in order to come into the light. To know the light and truth, we must also experience what its opposite is- otherwise, we do not know. Each person will have to find Christ through it all- the free will. I have discovered that through prayer, God always reveals the answer. May God be with you Father Seraphim and my prayers are with you. May God grant us all the wisdom to see beyond appearances.

Glory to God, father. And thank you always for your effort. What helped me when becoming Orthodox was learning God can save whom ever He wants. Any person outside of the Church who is granted salvation, is saved by Christ. There are no other Gods. Only The Holy Trinity. Only Jesus Christ can save you. And if God wills a Buddhist to be saved, given that Buddhist was maybe obedient to humility and self offering and Truth (despite and in contrast to their confession of faith) than it is up to God to grant that person salvation THROUGH Christ only.
Truly Jesus is the only path to Eternal Life because He Himself IS Eternal Life. And if anyone off of that path receives salvation, it will never be the god they worship who is saving them, it will be Jesus Christ the Only Begotten Son of God through Whom all things were made. That’s entirely up to God the Father. And how it works is a mystery. And how often that happens is a mystery as well. Do you think this is all okay to say, Fr. Seraphim?

Thank you, Father Seraphim. The illumination of truth that shines through these words is a testament to heartfelt devotion, and that is inspiring.
In a different video, you mentioned that ancient cultures such as Iraq and India have very deep roots. The Enuma Elish and the Epic of Gilgamesh are stories from Mesopotamia, aka Iraq. The Enuma Elish depicts a great deluge, and there are similarities to Genesis 6-8. The serpent that robs Gilgamesh of renewed life, as well as the "house of dust" tracks very well with the events depicted in Genesis 3. Personally, my devotion to Christ has been strengthened by reading those stories. As an American, my access to deep cultural roots is limited 😢. As you are from Eastern Europe, your cultural roots extend much deeper 🙂.
Of course, Abraham is born as Abram, from Ur of the Chaldees, which is also Mesopotamian. In Hebrew, Ur translates as "Fire", or perhaps "Light of Fire." While it is true that people from Ur "worshipped other gods," this was henotheism, not polytheism. The ancient Hebrews were said to be monotheistic, but henotheism is more accurate. YHWH, El, Ha'Shem are titles for the Supreme God who has dominion over all.
There is evidence that early India was visited by chariot riders from Mesopotamia. Agni, the first recorded word in Sanskrit, translates as "Fire" or "Priest of Sacrifice." Agni is already considered ancient in the Rig Veda, which dates back to 1500 BC or earlier. Agni and The Lord of Hosts in Isaiah are both displaying the dual nature of fire (salvific or destructive, depending on our own actions).
I truly admire and appreciate the Orthodox church. Personally, I have had to look in many different places to cultivate true devotion. So, I sympathize with the many individuals who are looking all over the place for salvation. Christ has Risen!

who are the voice of reason in this present darkness.
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD, and against his anointed,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
    (Psalm 2, 1-3)

As an old English Biblical Christian - an Anglican by birth - living out his last chapter(s) alone in Mexico - sadly at great odds with the errant direction of my Church - I fully and wholeheartedly support everything you say here about Christ and many that still call themselves Christians who are wayward and “spiritual” and confused.
It is like C S Lewis says, (and G K Chesterton before him in ‘Orthodoxy) you cannot pick and choose your own personal Christ like a kit of parts… No! …Christ is 100% or 0%. He is ALL or nothing.
He is either the greatest maniacal liar that ever lived - or He is God on Earth - the Son of God - the Alpha and Omega…
You cannot say “He was one way of truth - one way to the Divine” “He was just a Holy man” - because He directly told you He was the ONLY way… If you doubt SOME of the Bible - you doubt it ALL… It comes tumbling down as an imperfect lie…
GOD never lies - God is perfect.
God IS the Trinity - Jesus Christ - King of kings is the ONLY way to Salvation and eternity.
God Bless you with your Holy Church and with your exciting projects on the islands.
