We were one of the many families of fans that travelled to Dawsonville the day after he won the million. The town's population probably increased 10 fold that day. They managed to tear Bill away from work briefly for a parade down main street as he rode on the top of what may have been the town's only fire truck with a police escort. I was 15 at the time and it is one of my great memories.

My absolute all time favorite, I'm as big of a Bill fan as they are I followed him since 79 ,I so badly wanted to talk to him in talladega but I heard he was shy like I was .I'll probably never get to meet Bill, my dad went to his shop in Dawsonville and sent me some photos in 99 I think it was . Bill has always been a great ambassador for the sport and his ability to control the high speed Kaos in a Ford made him my childhood hero ! Much respect on and off the track!

Bill is the is a great person especially after he got un shy I saw him at the Appalachian fair 3 straight years sign autographs for 5 hours or more each time no other drivers like Earnhardt done that. Bill is what are sport desperately needs more off.he doesn't get the respect he deserves either he was as good as any driver on the track.

That day in the 1987 Winston is the day I lost any respect for Earnhardt. I was always glad to see him either lose or wreck!

I always hear Bill saying he wasn't the best car at the 1985 Southern 500. Funny how everything that was faster broke.

When I was watching Nascarman twitter, i noticed some of your tweet in his timeline, and decided to check. I haven't listen to the interview yet, but I will shortly.
But I have one question : Why separate the podcast/interview in 3 parts? I have no problem with it, just find it weird.
