So pleased things have gone well this week - always great to hear positive news. On the buttons - it does depend if you want them to be a feature or blend in. I do think a plain [like your mother of pearl flowers] will stand out more but the others look good. I always love to see all your projects come to fruition.😎❤

Great makes and plans. I'm gping to make the soi hieidi dress which is similar to the westcliff in woven (I think). Love clc prints their 60gsm paper is great and if tge pattern is layered I get the ones I dont needed turned off 😊 Enjoy your sewcial. Me and Jen will plan a weekend to yours one day ❤

Rhubarb and custard buttons get my vote. 😊. Loving the Avenir. On my last one I extended the pockets up to the waistband to stop them flapping- will definitely do that again to more of my makes. Cannot believe how busy you have been. Off to order the Westcliff dress whilst I still can !! Great plans as always. LOL at the red fabric need😂😂. So honest. Happy Sewing. 😊. Lynne

For this one I am wearing a viscose poplin. But I have made them in linen and cotton lawn before xx

Hi Becky! I recently made that New Look jumpsuit in a toile fabric. Yours looks so good on you! I think I have a problem with making things too big. I'm 5'5", bust 40, waist 35, and hips 40. I made a straight size 18, and it is quite baggy. Would you share your measurements and the size you made? I know you mentioned the size you made in the video, but I've forgotten. Thank you so much; you've inspired me to try it again!
Yes so I have a bust of 40, waist of 38 and hip of 47, I made a 14 top grading out to an 18 hip, I also had to do a sway back adjustment to remove some excess fabric from the back - I am 5ft 4 😊 x

Could I trouble you with one more question? The pattern calls for bias tape around the neck and front crossover. I assumed it meant woven bias tape, but it seemed a little weird on a knit garment. I used it anyway. Is that what you did?
do you have to struggle at all to get the jumpsut off your shoulders to use the bathroom? I seem to have that issue with some jumpsuits. but I really like yours. thanks
