I still watch him. I love him so much and tears come and hard to stop them. I fell in love with precious baby and I'll never forget him. He was my first Eaglet. I watched him as an egg and watched him hatch, I watched him grow up, fall out of this nest, go back to his nest, and fledge. I love him forever. I miss you E9 and I'll love you forever. 💝😢

This E9 history is awesome! Millions of people, watching 1 little eaglet from birth to adulthood. Millions of people feeling like parents watching their baby fly away. It was hard watching the ending. God speed little E9, the world around loves you.
That could very well be in the future. We've had several sub adults visit this season and they perched in the nest tree with H and M and seemed comfortable. Could have been a past offspring of H & O.

Never thought i would see the day when i would not see E9. Can't say it's not bothering me, but thank goodness there's Kleenex. i hope that you will not leave , my heart could"nt take that. All the thanks in the world for all of these video's. E9's "Tribute" is so special but there is something about E9 that is special. I prefer to believe that God sent him to be a soothing balm for a hurting heart, a cause for laughter where there were tears. If by chance E9 does show up again it will be an added bonus. Go discover the world E9 but go in peace and safety.
Lady Hawk Couldn't finish my message too many tears. This song holds a very special spot in my heart. I stayed awake many nights watching my husband sleep , couldn't miss a thing due to his days were numbered. I just recently started viewing our majestic eagles and finding it to be a great healer. I've tried several times to force myself to watch but I just can't; not yet. My hope for you E9: Glorious Wings on Dancing Wind, The beat of feathers strong, To your will the wind shall bend, Mother Earth she pleads with the young born glider, "Return to me proud bearer of life so we may grow and be all the wiser", "Nay, I fly" the young eagle cries, "with wings so true and strong!"
I started watching this nest during E9's accidentally fledging and I thought the drama was heartbreaking. I never knew 5 years later this whole family would be gone. Harriet goes missing in early February 2023 and M has to fight intruders and raise E21 and E22 on his own only to have the birds fledge once and completely leave. As devastating as it is to watch the little ones grow up and decide to leave, it's a lot worse for new ones to be out on their own without enough training. 😢💔
I miss you E9,Harriet and M15. This is very sad, but like everyone here, I am happy E9 is on his way to his happy life. I love you My lovely Eagle family. Soar as high as you can
My favorite video was of E9 dancing in the rain. If only we would have gotten to see him catch his first fish. Better yet, one of those nasty little grackles/crows. Of all the nests I'v watched the past two years, this has been the most rewarding.

Hi PT - thank you so much for the comments! Harriet and M never leave the area. They stay here year round but there is no more need for them to come to the nest. Their job is done ♥♥ They will stay in the pines in the surrounding area enjoying the summer off on vacation so to speak. A well deserved vacation! Thank you for watching!!

Ladyhawk, my favorite video of the season is "full moon over the nest (3.12.17)" it is on my playlist and I watch that vid at least a couple times a week, I have several reasons I adore it. However, I must say this final tribute video brought tears to my eyes and truly touched me so this may be my favorite in a deeper, different sense. Your tribute video gives all of us viewers a true show of our Eagle parents love for each other. Here you captured: bond strengthening, their construction and improvements of the nest and Harriets amazing egg laying of E9. Harriet showing herself as the professional, polished mother she is. E9s hatch with Eggbert always there for E9 as his nest buddy. E9 walking and standing on his feet to the Juvie feathers emergence and progression. E9s mantling and tug o fish with mom to wingersizing and branching. The accidental fledge (will never forget that) to going upside down to playing with that feather (which I totally remember how cute that was). E9 being fed on the ground. Lastly, your scene at 4:29 sums the whole cycle of life up in all it's perfection...H&M gaze upon their baby now fully grown as he's branching in front of them, all the while the sun is slowly setting on a nest tree that has touched the lives of thousands. It really did bring tears and I bid you a special thanks for all your hard work on this whole season capturing this journey ❤️❤

It is always bittersweet to create a season tribute video - something that captures the essence of E9 but does not reduce us to tears upon his departure! This season has been quite meaningful for me in many ways - and now I wish E9 a long life, a full crop, much happiness, days of dancing in the rain and nights of quiet reflection as he embarks on this new journey. He has taken a piece of all our hearts with him ♥♥♥ I will have to go back and watch the full moon over the nest soon!! Hi Darice - you are so welcome! I didn't want people to cry at this tribute - I wanted it to be a happy tribute. He was so adventurous...I am just happy he stayed with us as long as he did. I was afraid with his early fledge and inquisitive nature he would leave early but he blessed us with staying 122 days. I am so grateful for those days. Thank you for watching and God bless you too!

Lady Hawk Thank you for all your hard work! I've met Steven Tyler 3 times (a friend of mine drove their equipment) and I think he would be so proud that their song is used in a video with the birth of our national bird!!! During a show in West Palm Beach, as his limo pulled into the backstage entrance, he called my friend over and asked him to go outside and bring someone in. He soon returned with 2 young girls. The one girl was in a wheel chair, paralyzed from the waist down in a car wreck 7 months earlier. She was outside the gate with her best friend and held a sign saying that she had handmade a scarf for Steven. As soon as he saw her come in the gate with her friend, he smile d from ear to ear and said, "Hello beautiful," and hugged her. He then sat down next to her so she could speak with him. Her friend was crying. She told me after the accident, when she went to see her in the hospital, her best friend wanted to die. She knew Aerosmith was her favorite group. So she told her friend, get out of this hospital and the next time they come to town, she promised as best of tickets she could get. Her friend got out of the hospital and when she saw Aerosmith coming, she started to make a scarf for Steven! When Steven asked where their seats were, and saw they were far away f3om the stage, he had Kris (my friend) take them to a spot at the side of the stage where the family membere of the group watch! His kindness towards people is amazing! I used to see Eagles overhead when I was growing up, but never got to see a baby eaglet. Our zoo in Tampa is The Lowry Park zoo. I moved here in 1985 and have gone to that zoo a lot. They have an eagle there that was saved by the vets years ago. It cannot be released as it had lost its wing. They have a beautiful set up for it and since it can hop and walk around, they make sure it gets to go after a lure. So to see the lovely videos you have done, I got hooked on watching the little family every day!! So thank you again from all of us who tuned in daily to watch M, Harriet, E9, & poor little Eggbert!

Lady Hawk Yes, Steven could have driven by that girl, but to not only have Kris go get her, he got down to here eye level in the wheel chair, and speak to her for a while. You could just see her face light up. To go from a walking person one day and unable to walk the next, she was so down and to have her friend buy tickets was wonderful. Sadly, most stadiums put people in wheelchairs up on the top rows. But Steven had gotten her off the side of the stage. Aerosmith has always been a favorite group. Bon Jovi too!!

All the thanks in the world for all of these video's. E9's "Tribute" is so special but there is something about E9 that is special. I prefer to believe that God sent him to be a soothing balm for a hurting heart, a cause for laughter where there were tears. If by chance E9 does show up again it will be an added bonus. Go discover the world E9 but go in peace and safety.

Lady Hawk Couldn't finish my message too many tears. This song holds a very special spot in my heart. I stayed awake many nights watching my husband sleep , couldn't miss a thing due to his days were numbered. I just recently started viewing our majestic eagles and finding it to be a great healer. I started watching this nest during E9's accidentally fledging and I thought the drama was heartbreaking. I never knew 5 years later this whole family would be gone. Harriet goes missing in early February 2023 and M has to fight intruders and raise E21 and E22 on his own only to have the birds fledge once and completely leave. As devastating as it is to watch the little ones grow up and decide to leave, it's a lot worse for new ones to be out on their own without enough training. 😢💔
I miss you E9,Harriet and M15. This is very sad, but like everyone here, I am happy E9 is on his way to his happy life. I love you My lovely Eagle family. Soar as high as you can
My favorite video was of E9 dancing in the rain. If only we would have gotten to see him catch his first fish. Better yet, one of those nasty little grackles/crows. Of all the nests I'v watched the past two years, this has been the most rewarding.

Ladyhawk, my favorite video of the season is "full moon over the nest (3.12.17)" it is on my playlist and I watch that vid at least a couple times a week, I have several reasons I adore it. However, I must say this final tribute video brought tears to my eyes and truly touched me so this may be my favorite in a deeper, different sense. Your tribute video gives all of us viewers a true show of our Eagle parents love for each other. Here you captured: bond strengthening, their construction and improvements of the nest and Harriets amazing egg laying of E9. Harriet showing herself as the professional, polished mother she is. E9s hatch with Eggbert always there for E9 as his nest buddy. E9 walking and standing on his feet to the Juvie feathers emergence and progression. E9s mantling and tug o fish with mom to wingersizing and branching. The accidental fledge (will never forget that) to going upside down to playing with that feather (which I totally remember how cute that was). E9 being fed on the ground. Lastly, your scene at 4:29 sums the whole cycle of life up in all it's perfection...H&M gaze upon their baby now fully grown as he's branching in front of them, all the while the sun is slowly setting on a nest tree that has touched the lives of thousands. It really did bring tears and I bid you a special thanks for all your hard work on this whole season capturing this journey ❤️❤

It is always bittersweet to create a season tribute video - something that captures the essence of E9 but does not reduce us to tears upon his departure! This season has been quite meaningful for me in many ways - and now I wish E9 a long life, a full crop, much happiness, days of dancing in the rain and nights of quiet reflection as he embarks on this new journey. He has taken a piece of all our hearts with him ♥♥♥ I will have to go back and watch the full moon over the nest soon!! I think you struck a good balance not bringing us to tears (though I got emotional due to the whole season being summed up and seeing it unfold on your tribute video). Lady Hawk Thank you for all your hard work! I've met Steven Tyler 3 times (a friend of mine drove their equipment) and I think he would be so proud that their song is used in a video with the birth of our national bird!!!
During a show in West Palm Beach, as his limo pulled into the backstage entrance, he called my friend over and asked him to go outside and bring someone in.
He soon returned with 2 young girls. The one girl was in a wheel chair, paralyzed from the waist down in a car wreck 7 months earlier. She was outside the gate with her best friend and held a sign saying that she had handmade a scarf for Steven.
As soon as he saw her come in the gate with her friend, he smile d from ear to ear and said, "Hello beautiful," and hugged her. He then sat down next to her so she could speak with him.
Her friend was crying. She told me after the accident, when she went to see her in the hospital, her best friend wanted to die. She knew Aerosmith was her favorite group. So she told her friend, get out of this hospital and the next time they come to town, she promised as best of tickets she could get. Her friend got out of the hospital and when she saw Aerosmith coming, she started to make a scarf for Steven!
When Steven asked where their seats were, and saw they were far away f3om the stage, he had Kris (my friend) take them to a spot at the side of the stage where the family membere of the group watch!
His kindness towards people is amazing!
I used to see Eagles overhead when I was growing up, but never got to see a baby eaglet. Our zoo in Tampa is The Lowry Park zoo. I moved here in 1985 and have gone to that zoo a lot. They have an eagle there that was saved by the vets years ago. It cannot be released as it had lost its wing. They have a beautiful set up for it and since it can hop and walk around, they make sure it gets to go after a lure.
So to see the lovely videos you have done, I got hooked on watching the little family every day!! So thank you again from all of us who tuned in daily to watch M, Harriet, E9, & poor little Eggbert!

Lady Hawk Yes, Steven could have driven by that girl, but to not only have Kris go get her, he got down to here eye level in the wheel chair, and speak to her for a while. You could just see her face light up.
To go from a walking person one day and unable to walk the next, she was so down and to have her friend buy tickets was wonderful.
Sadly, most stadiums put people in wheelchairs up on the top rows. But Steven had gotten her off the side of the stage.
Aerosmith has always been a favorite group. Bon Jovi too!!
